Went by to look for a part and the door was locked and a sign on the door said to call a number because they were in the shop working, no problem. I called a couple of times and no answer but I figured that they couldn't get to the phone,no biggie. Next day I went by and the sign was on the door again but I got thru this time, they didn't have what I was looking for this time but I have bought from them before and they were good to deal with.
Just like the other guy i said, if I could give a 0 I would. They hardly ever pick up the phone and when they do they are always rude. Very unhelpful and very unfriendly. If you're in the area save yourself the headache and go to Lamberts.
Went there asking for a part for my vehicle. I clearly saw they had a few of them on the back yet they refuse to sell it and said they didn't have that car. So it seems that they don't want to sell the parts.
If i could give zero i would...First off i tried to call them 3 times knowing they were open, then drove out there to get a price on a part. The price was quoted and i felt it was too steep so i told them i would call to let them know.. Within 30 mins i realize no other junkyards in this town has the part i need so i call Lakeway back and tell them i want it. They in-turn tell me they can't pull it without it paying on it first... Sorry, I've been burnt like this before. No thanks i will buy new.
They get 1 star simply because it's close and they have the parts I need. Unfortunately they don't seem to want to sell any of said parts. It's pretty frustrating. I needed 2 frame rails they quoted me $600 and wouldn't budge on price. Ended up buying new OEM parts from the dealer for $318 including shipping. Called for another part for the same vehicle and now they quote "don't want to mess with it because the vehicle still has the motor in it" I don't understand why a bumper bracket/brace has anything to do with a motor being in the car. Maybe someone else there can let me know whats going on. If not, I will be spending my money elsewhere. I suggest anyone reading does the same.
I came in for a tail light. The guys there were friendly and hooked me up quick. They even put the tail light in for me. Will definitely be checking with them before anyone else for parts in the future!
Ordered a frame on a Friday morning and it was ready that afternoon, Rusty was great to deal with. Drove from Massachusetts to do business with them and it was worth it!
I came in to buy 4 used tires and found my size, but the scam artists wanted $300+ for used tires. Are you joking? I can buy new for $350-$400. such a joke.
