DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I recently purchased an engine from Smithville Auto. I took 45 days to have the engine inspected by multiple mechanics to determine it was defective & could not be used. I was told I could not return the engine. I had spoken to them on several occasions about the defective engine, including 2 weeks after receiving and was never informed I had 30 days to return it. It was not posted on receipt, emails or texts. Terrible customer service. BEWARE WHEN PUCHASING FROM THE COMPANY.
Jordan was very helpful for me. I was going to drive from Texas for an engine so he sent me pictures and gave me updates on pulling it. When it turned out the engine was cracked, he refunded my deposit. Stand up guy. Will be looking to do business with them in the future.

Beware of buying from this Junk Yard. They sell BAD parts and have terrible customer service. I purchased a part for $600 which was bent and unusable and they told me they wont return my money. Every-time I call they say the owner isn't available or they can't make that decision.
Sold me a motor that had timing chain codes, had new timing chain put in, but the motor was still knocking and smoking, tells me that it’s no warranty...I would not recommend this place to anyone
This is the worst junkyard we have ever used. They will send you half of what you ask for with their incomplete parts and then tell you you can come pick up the rest of your part but you will have to pay more. They will rip you off and when you ask them to do the right thing they act like that is not possible. Will never purchase from this company again.
