DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! THEY KEEP YOUR CAR FOREVER AND TAKE THEIR TIME WORKING IN IT . KEPT MY CAR FOR OVER 2 WEEKS AND THATS UNACCEPTABLE. TAKE YOUR CAR TO MOONEYS AUTOMOTIVE IN HENDERSONVILLE, THEY ARE FAST ,HONEST AND VERY FAIR ON PRICES BUT PLEASE AVOID GOODLETTSVILLE AUTO SALVAGE .
He does great mechanic work he knows his cars .I have been using terry for over 10 yrs and man he the best I have seen yet and reasonable prices most of the time and very friendly service recommend this place highly
I think it's a very trustworthy place to have your car fixed. This is where I always take my vehicle. Most of my family also take there vehicles here to get fixed. Terry is a good dude and for me to trust him says a lot because I don't hardly trust anyone.
We broke down on our way down to Alabama. Terry was so good to us. Being out of town and alone with my kids, Terry went out of his way to repair my car and make sure we got home safe. Thank you Terry!

Not very friendly. Also hardly ever has anything to "salvage". It's not really a salvage yard it's a auto mechanic shop. But they had the exact car I needed parts from sitting on the lot and they would not sell me parts because they were to busy to get the parts off the car. Because I wasn't spending hundreds of dollars my order wasn't good enough. The owner Terry McClure is money hungry and will rip you off if you let him. Always get a second opinion on the problem and get several estimates because if they sense you are naive they will take advantage of you. And the customer does not matter only the money.
Good fast service on oil change, with getting interior air filter, took less time than places I went to before. Also fixed my air, needed Freon, and put bulb in driving light that was out. Pointed out issue with battery which was under warranty. I called him and he even made call after auto parts place did not replace and only cleaned leakage twice. He advised them they needed to honor my warranty and saved me possibly getting out and having issues with battery. He also checked some items dealer advised needed to be done when I took in for recall work, and advised not needed yet.
Had a Jasper engine installed by these folks about five years ago. Work was done right and my pickup still runs like a charm.
Had a new AC put in and there were a few issues given my truck is an older model.
They worked with me and stuck to the task until everything was working properly.
Good people and fair pricing.

Terry got my car in January to fix it It is still not fixed and this is August He doesn't communicate about anything going on Never calls with updates always has excuses and frankly I am not sure he didn't do worse to the car. He could never get the correct part Always and excuse and won't return my car even thought he can't fix it.
I've known Terry since 2000, he's worked on all of my cars (general maintenance and other repair work). whether you drive domestic or foreign, he's the best mechanic I know - with very good prices. I wish I still lived in Nashville, besides his sarcasm, I miss everyone at that place, including Roy.
We were headed back to Chicago when our car stalled. We pulled off the highway at the shell gas station to see if anyone could help us...her name was Linda and she got on the phone and called Terry right away. Terry didnt know us at all and was willing to help any which way even though he was real busy... He was able to pin point the problem right away and fix it so we can we could get back to Chicago, did I mention he wasn't going to charge a thing (which I would have given him anything he asked for at that point) but we did pay him. I dont know exactly what type of business Terry runs but I tell you one thing he is the nicest person, honest and humble. Thank you!
Went to look for parts, it was clear they didn't want to take the time to help me. Very poor customer service and either their prices are way too high or they just threw out high numbers so they wouldn't have to do the work. They quoted me $75 for a part I found for $20 at another yard in better condition. Either way, I wont be going here anymore and you shouldn't either!
