By far the most pleasant experience I have had at any scrap yard ever the entire staff was friendly courteous and helpful. There just not enough stars to rate this business . I will go out of my way to do business with them again.
One of the easiest places I been to. Too sell scrap metal and not have to worry about getting ripped off. Very helpful staff. They actually help you to get the most out of what you bring in. Were most places try and beat you down (all star) . I appreciate the honesty business.
These guys are the BEST in town !! Have been doing business with these fellas for a couple years now and I refuse to scrap elsewhere !! Knowledgeable smart guys who will help you understand how to sort all your materials. These guys are friendly an helpful and they also pay the best prices imo !! Outstanding service! I interacted with 3 different people at Middle Tennessee Recycling and they were all extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. I had no experience with recycling and had a wide variety of items and different materials. They took the time to educate me so that I could use my time efficiently. I will definitely use them for all future recycling needs.
Great place for Ya junk to take u 2. I mean, obvi. Sweat lots a Work 4 a few Habanero's.. And of course, it's only ethical that Ur Scrap to get 1/2 the take. But hey, Pays for My day's worth of cancer. So this ain't me complaining. All in All, TRUCKED there & got droveattention merit points. PAR for course was when The Hermi Golf course let Me Cache in My Elks for a Bnew Mempershipped. Recycling is so much cooler than I coulda ever worked for. ??
They are pretty busy at times but once you have been a few times, you get to know a few of the workers and they are friendly.I have even seen them go the extra mile for the elderly and others that needed a hand with unloading..Fair pay for your goods..
Associates are friendly. You can get in & out relatively quick while putting a few dollars in your pocket. One star is lost for the muddy conditions when it rains.
With the price of scrap and everybody and their mama doing it now. I hardly go but I have to say the guys down here. Are awesome. Very courteous and help out any way they can. I've been going here for years. Would recommend the scrap yard. Over any and Nashville

I prefer taking my scrap to Mid Tenn. The guy behind the counter has great customer service and the other guys are pretty helpful as well. Plus the yard is really clean for a scrap yard!
The office staff and the guys in the yard are all very knowledgeable and very pleasant to do buisness with. ROBBY the yard manager is extremely nice and the guys he works with are always willing to do whatever they can to make your experience there amazing. They know A lot of the customers by name and always try to make your visit there as personal as possible. THANKS MIDD TENN RECYCLING FOR BEING A COMPANY THAT APPRICIATES THEIR CUSTOMERS.
I love it here the lady at the front desk is so funny and she's very helpful and all of the guys that work here are just so funny they should make a reality show about this place
I have gone there are serval times for my boss and I also explained That they're ripping him off they tell him $.50 a pound on clean aluminum when I got there and they saw how much are you am I had they change the price to $.20 a pound if you asked me if someone brings you thousands of pounds of aluminum a week when they pull up you shouldn't change the price once you see how much they have my boss had me specifically drive almost an hour to them nevertheless he continues to deal with them for what reason I don't know and also the lady behind the counter who claims she is the owner and only owner of the place which I looked up and she is not the owner she is just one of the people that worked on another note the large scale outside that you drive the vehicles to does not register the first thousand pounds something is definitely wrong with that place and should be investigated
Went in to pick up a check for some copper I had recycled a little while back (TN law requires a waiting period after recycling copper); had been told that I could pick it up any time within 6mo during business hours. Walked into the office area and lady behind the register asked what I needed. Explained that I was just picking up my check. Next thing I know I'm being SCREAMED at to "remove [myself] from the property." Something about them not being open, insurance not covering if customers on the premises before trucks left (?), I'm not even sure what all she was yelling at me. A worker(?) in a hard hat tried to nicely explain they weren't ready yet and I wanted to ask when they might be ready and I'd just come back later, but couldn't as I was being screamed out of the office. Barely made it to my car, hadn't even gotten my car door open, and the guy in the hard hat stuck his head out the door and motioned me back in--like they were now ready for me. At this point I just wanted my money so I could leave and never come back. As I headed back to the office another man had finished his recycling and was waiting for his pay. The lady asked him to let me go first, but since I wasn't in any hurry I said I didn't mind if the man went first. She paid him and then I waited patiently as she tried to find my money (SHE had mis-entered my information from my driver's license from my previous trip and tried to blame it on someone else). Once I received my money I told her I didn't appreciate the way that she had talked to me and once again I was being SCREAMED at--this time that she was the owner, she made the rules because she owned the business, and I needed to leave. Still not sure what I did to deserve being SCREAMED at or how I was suppose to know that I wasn't suppose to be there? It was past the scheduled opening time and the door was unlocked. The other man had already been there dumping off his recycling. ???
Don't come in before 8:15am, they will yell at you and tell you to get off their property!!!
My girlfriend is a sweet, friendly woman and headed over this morning to pick up a small check for copper that she'd taken a couple of months to get around to picking up. She went in at 8:05, the door was unlocked and a lady was at the counter. Before even saying a word, a worker told her they needed a few minutes and the lady started screaming at her to get out, get off the premises because their insurance won't cover anyone there before 8:15am. Why were you open and at the desk just scream at people that walk in trying to do business? The sign says open at 8am, don't believe it!
She sat in her car and came back in at 8:15, got her check and told the lady she didn't like how she was treated, and the lady screamed at her again and said she's the owner, it's her business and she can treat people however she wants. Between that and them paying really low prices for the metal we brought, we'll take our business to one of the places in Nashville from now on instead. They treat us a lot better and actually want business.
Great attitudes, fair prices! Well, at least up until today. Apparently if you have one miss understanding there is no nice explanation, suddenly you are just like the rest of the Crack heads to them. I understand rules but if you want to talk down to someone, get a dog. Won't be back. Counter lady extremely rude in explaining a rule.
Great place to bring your Metal. These guys were very helpful in showing me how to sort my metal for the most money. Seems like they truly care about the customer and want them to make the most money possible. Also, the staff was extremely respectful and friendly. Prices were really good too. I have been to numerous scrap yards around town and their prices were spot on if not a little higher than most. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Overall an FANTASTIC experience and I was in and out in no time at all. This will be the only scrap yard i come to from now on. The new owners have done wonders with this place compared to the previous owners. Much more professional and definitely cleaner. Location is convenient too! Best place hands down!
New management is awfully slow. Also the old owners always had fair prices, the new owners consistently pay less than any other scrap yard. Have used them for years but after dealing with new owners I will drive to psc or any other scrap yard. The drive is well worth avoiding the cheap payouts and rude employees.
I received a fair price for my scrap aluminum. $0.35 per pound. I took a bunch of cans to them, and they weighed them, and paid me cash on the spot. I will return.
Very picky about how you bring in your metal and then always has the LOWEST payout by 15¢-30¢ a pound.
I've also always had a very rude person to answer the phone. It was such a hassle for her to tell me there prices/payouts.
Will never go here and would NEVER recommend anyone to!
