I’m not saying the whole company is bad, or all the drivers they hire.
Today I had AAA dispatch a tow truck for me! - the driver said he would not wait for me so I cancelled the tow!!!
The driver told AAA that he arrived on site, and that I never showed up, and gave a description of where my car was due to the information I gave him!!
He said that to still get compensated for the run!!!! And it would have costed me one of my tows that I pay for through my AAA membership due to his lie!
I used to be a logistics broker, and I knew he was lying.
I had AAA check tracking!!! Come to show like I said he was never there.
Again, not saying everyone in this company is bad, but whoever that driver is lied to get paid, and almost costed me a tow on my membership!!!
If you hire them proceed with caution. Obviously the people they hire are not honest!!! Terrible service and not honest! I would recommend using someone else!!!

My car was towed by tou guys the other day from the dollar general on 411, that vehicle is the only thing i havento get back and forth. That night me my son and another guy was sitting in another vehicle while that one was being worked on approximately 2:39 am on july 20, 2025, the three of us was in the car that was stolen with three people inside that got kidnapped. I have the police report i can show you, maybe you can find it in your heart (as ive been told by several tons of people) if intake thenpolice report to you huys maybe you will just release my car back to me.
Dwayne took great care of my car. It's lowered making towing it a pain in the butt. He made it happen with no damage. Thanks Foothills wrecker for getting me home.

AAA dispatched Ron to our home for a flat tire change. Ron was awesome. He was on time, extremely polite, over-the-top helpful and just a blessing. He had us changed out and ready to go in no time. I would recommend Ron and Foothills Wrecker Service to anyone in need of service. Just a wonderful experience.
Got my car towed to an auto shop and received a call the next day that they never got my car key. Foothills Wrecker Services insisted they left the key in the ignition but it was no where to be found in my car. After a few hours of phone calls the key showed up under my car seat and was brought in by the employee who towed my car. The auto shop informed me they had checked around my console and under my seat multiple times before calling and it wasn't there before. The situation was upsetting and caused a lot more trouble than it should of been. I was not impressed with my experience and will not be using again or recommending.
Rob with Foothills Wrecker Service was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He worked around all our needs to get our vehicle and take it to repair shop of our choice. He was early and fast but still treated the car with care! He knew all the details of the best ways to get the car to the shop's waiting area, which was not an easy place to get to.
blew a tire out after working all night they got me taken care of within 20 minutes after the call, when all the other towing companies wouldn't answer the phone. I left them cash in the driver seat and picked up a ride and when I returned to get the car at a local mechanic shop they left the change and paperwork in the seat for me, I appreciate the honest and hard work.
Had a flat tire off the tail of the dragon. James was dispatched by AAA to pick up my car and did a phenomenal job securing the car during a heavy downpour. I'm grateful of people like him for the attention to details and positive attitude. Five star service hands down.
When I was traveling through Alcoa after business hours & had a leaky tire, two men from FWS went above & beyond expectations by actually fixing my tire(not putting on a spare). They had me on my way in no time, & I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip! I highly recommend this company!
Breaking down is always an ordeal, but breaking down in the national park on the 4th of July is a nightmare. James was our savior. He was amazing. He got to us quick and was incredibly friendly and helpful. He helped salvage the day. Thank you!
Drivers here are not helpful and Duane is especially rude. AAA uses this wrecker service, but after today I am dropping my service with AAA and will never recommend this place to anyone. I recommend Butler's wrecker service they are especially helpful and the drivers are not rude. Wish I could give no stars to be honest.
10/10 recommend! I came off an airplane to a flat tire and my boyfriend had ordered AAA for me. In less than 20 minutes James Chandler was calling me telling me he was 8 minutes out. He got my tire off and we both saw there was a nail that had pierced my tire. Luckily, he had a plug kit! James plugged my tire up, put it back on my car and I was on my way home after a long day of flying! So thankful he was there to help me, especially since I live an hour away from the airport. Great service and will be using again if I get stuck in the area!
Called AAA for a tow service to come tow my car after starter went bad, they sent Billy from Foothills Wrecker Service. Billy was quick to call and let me know the time he would be there and made it there sooner, was very kind and helpful and this was the shortest amount of time I’ve ever waited for a wrecker using AAA, if I have to use them again I hope we get Billy again
Sydney was very knowledgeable, kind, understanding and helpful. He knew just what to do to get the truck and trailer out of the ditch and accomplished it perfectly. My experience was absolutely excellent! I highly recommend Foothills Wrecker Service.

Recently we had a flat tire in a remote location in the Tennessee mountains. Enterprise contacted Foothills towing and a wonderful man named Duane called me back. He offered to go to the Knoxville airport to pick up a replacement car for me, however Enterprise didn't think the idea was a good one. Duane was so kind and helpful. He gave me hope while Enterprise destroyed it. Duane even went to the Knoxville airport to try and get the replacement car for us and suddenly Enterprise called him off the job. I was devastated. I never got to meet Duane and thank him in person, so hopefully he gets this (I probably spelled his name wrong - sorry) but he shows what true customer service looks like. Called AAA and was told it could be 2 to 3 hours before they could get anyone there (haven't had good service from triple A in the last couple years) but within 15 minutes a guy calls and introduced himself and said he was with Foothills wrecker service and was on his way as fast as he could get there. I barely got the phone put in my pocket and he was there !! I think his name was Tim. He got out of that truck at a dead run introduced himself again, loaded the car and got back in the truck at a dead run ! He almost beat me to the house to drop the car. He was incredibly polite professional and DANG SURE A GO GETTER ! Couldn't ask for any better service !!
I needed a jump and AAA called Foothills. The young man, Patrick, was so nice and answers all my questions before leaving. Once i realized my car wouldn't go into gear i called him, he came right back and went overboard to try and get me some help. When the tow driver got there, unfortunately I didn't get his name, he was actually able to do a reset and get my car moving. I cannot express how much I appreciated all this help. Stuck on top of the mountain! Kevin was Great!!! We have a new Jeep that was parked in the carport with a dead battery. News to all of us we could not put it in neutral to jump start it. Kevin communicated with Jeep to find a release button in the center glove box. He released it and the Jeep was able to be moved and jump started. Thank you so much Kevin! Foothills has helped us with professional service several times!
I ran over a small piece of metal on 321 at Smokey View Market yesterday morning and my tire went flat almost instantly. Foothills responded to my AAA request within 20 mins and I was back on the road in 30 mins. He answered my questions so I could change my own tire if ever needed and educated me on things about my truck I wasn't even aware of. He was very professional and went above and beyond what he had to do. Thank you!
Dakota was able to get to our car quickly and efficiently. He was super knowledgeable and managed to get our car started without needing an actual tow. He also gave us information so that if there were any issues with our car we could call and he would come help us get home. Overall our experience with foothills wrecker and Dakota in particular was wonderful.
Long time AAA member in maryville dealing with foothills so I came to write a review on a recent employee that I had the pleasure in dealing with , Dakota was the most friendly, quick and nice young man I have came across in a very long time! Foothills as always had great employees but I took a real liking to this young man. Also I seen some negative reviews here and I ask why are you people being cry baby’s if you ordered a pizza and it didn’t arrive in 30-45 minutes you all would be outraged! Same thing with tow drivers NO ONE wants to be waiting forever on a tow truck and especially the time of year it’s cold so I’m sure these guys drive fast TO HELP THE COMMUNITY LEAVE THEM ALONE! Foothills keep up the great work and anyone deciding to use this company I highly recommend Dakota.
I always have good service with Foothills Wrecker via AAA, but yesterday was exceptional with Duane. I have been going through a very rough time financially, and my car once again would not start. I didn't think it was the battery, but wanted to rule it out before taking my car into the shop again. He came out, tried the battery and everything else he could think of to try and help me (while I was holding back tears lol), then went above and beyond even that to make my day better. As a AAA employee, it was great for me to have yet another great story to share with our members on the service Foothills Wrecker provides to Blount and Knox County. Thank you!
I had an oil change gone wrong and my car was smoking. Baker towed my car from Maryville to Oak Ridge and was so nice and deserves a raise! The drive was good and I felt comfortable. We talked about how long he's worked for the company and the long hours everyone puts in, and I really appreciate everything he did to help me get to where I needed to be.
