This is the 2nd time I've had to use your services, different vehicles, outside of normal business hours. Which is a stressor in itself. Both times the dispatcher was extremely friendly and kind, getting us tow service very quickly. We had the same tow truck operator both times, he even remembered! He is extremely pleasant and does an amazing job of taking care not to damage your vehicle. They are also very reasonably priced! Not fond of needing to use any kind of towing services, but will always use and recommend Rapid Towing! Thank you!!
These guys made it out to where we got stuck in the badlands in under an hour and had us out in 20 minutes. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend them.
Had a flat and needed a tow. Rapid Towing is the only towing company who is authorized to tow Teslas. My window was ~90 minutes and they got to me in less than 30. Corey was awesome. Super nice and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. (My brother had to use them last month and was also really happy with them)

usually towing services take a while but as soon as we talked to the lady on the phone with great customer service the tow truck was already on its way and got to us in less than 20 minutes! the guy that had came to help us out after getting a flat tire was very nice and talkative so it made the experience even better! super fast and efficient, definitely recommend
After a 20 hour drive we got a flat tire and were stuck on the side of the interstate, we called and they said they were going to send someone, they were able to get there quickly and help us out and our driver was kind and talkative.

My truck wouldn't start after doing laundry at the laundry mat, so I called for a tow, and within a half an hour, Trevor showed up and towed my truck to the repair shop. He was VERY friendly and professional, and I feel like I made a new friend. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Rapid Tow!
On the evening of April 29, I was on my way home to Washington state from a 5680 mile round trip to take my custom truck to a car show in North Carolina. I was supposed to cross Nebraska, but a missed turn took me 4 hours passed my route, and I decided to go up and across South Dakota instead. I wanted to take my custom out of the trailer and drive up to Mount Rushmore, to get some pictures, since I had never been. After the sun went down, it was even more beautiful. On my way back to my truck and trailer, was pulled over by two park rangers, using a burned out license plate light as an excuse to go on a fishing expedition. After running my license, they found that it had been marked as "revoked 3rd degree". It took close to an hour to find out that this was coming from of a technical error between the states of California and Washington, saying that there's an additional unpaid balance of child support that I paid off in full 2 years ago. My son is 24 years old, and I have documents stating it is paid in full with $0 due. The rangers said they were not going to arrest me, yet, they still had to cite me and tow/impound my truck. They said it should only cost a couple hundred dollars to get it out. This is where Rapid Towing comes in. At about 11:30 PM, Rapid Towing tow truck arrived, and, in my opinion, stole my perfectly running and driving truck (at the orders of the local law enforcement). The driver was cordial and my truck was loaded with care. The rangers returned my license back, instructing me to call the child support offices ASAP to fix the mistake. The tow driver drove me about 20 minutes down the hill and dropped me at my other truck. Driver gave me a card with the address and number to call. I called at 11:45 and the representative was obviously asleep. He was somewhat rude at first, saying he couldn't release it to me, because he can only release to someone with valid license. I told him that I did have my license, cause it's was a clerical mistake, and he finally agreed. He forwarded me the bill via text, $527.68 (cash only) which included additional $75 to get it out, after hours. It also said I had a 30 minute window from the agreed time I'd be there, if I didn't show, there would be more additional charges. I told the I'd be there in 10 minutes. I drove directly to the lot, where I waited until 1:45 in the morning with no one showing up. I called again, waking him up again. At just before 3AM, a kid finally showed up. I paid the bill and loaded my my truck up, and got the hell out of that state. My beef here is, mostly with the law enforcement, who I'll be dealing with separately. However, the fact that there's some connection to this towing company to take my property (however in their eyes legally) and leverage me with a horrendously unjustified bill for a time that would've been less than 1 1/2 hours, if they had showed up on time, is ridiculous, and in my opinion, should be criminal. What they should have done, was just drop my truck off at my trailer, seeing as the driver was fully aware of the police situation. In addition, the representative should've known that they had wrongly taken my truck, seeing as my license was returned to me. The next morning, after they reopened, I'm sure me and my truck were the topic of some conversation. They could've easily called me and offered a full or at least partial refund of their bullshit fees. Prior to this incident, I was in awe of the beauty of your state, your town and this American monument. Was even thinking of bringing my family back soon to see it. Now, as a result of the extortion that played out on a vulnerable guest in your town, I'll never return. I cannot speak for repairs or necessary towing needs from this company, however, I'd be very cautious of their business practices seeing there involvement in conjunction with the local law enforcement creating revenue. Check your licence plate lights if visiting Mount Rushmore or driving through Rapid City. Better yet, just drive through Nebraska.
FYI- I'm 51. Not a criminal. Don't do drugs or drink.
Nobody like to call a tow service but they answered professionally, listened to what I required, quoted a fair price and completed the tow very quickly, safely, and took care of my daughter's car. Thank you all again
Called roadside assistance at 7:05, was advised it would be 45 minutes. At 7:50 I call the tow company they advised the driver was on his was, I verified the address. 20 minutes later I called them advised I had an event that I was now late for and would probably not make. I asked them again how long would it be, they advised the driver was there. I went outside told them the driver was in fact not there, the lady then said he was in Box Elder which was 10 minutes from my location. Told her I was annoyed, angry, and frustrated. She tried to say she understood which I immediately advised not she didn’t. Then she advised she was trying to accommodate me but I was being rude. I did not yell at her, raise my voice or use any profanity. If she would have been honest about how long it would have taken them to arrive I would have called a ride share and all this could have been avoided. Completely irresponsible of them to not accept responsibility and turn it around on me.
-11 at my house this morning and of course my car wouldn't start, my fault for not checking battery power. Called Rapid Tow and in less than 30 minutes they had me going and followed them into town to get a new battery. 3 years ago I had to have my truck towed after breaking down in the middle of no where, the company my insurance called couldn't find us, called these guys and they found us! Courteous and careful with my vehicle as always and kept us informed of arrival times both times.
I used Rapid Towing when I locked myself out of my pickup and it was a great experience. Shane was friendly, careful not to damage my vehicle and I was back in it in minutes after he arrived. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

My family and I were driving home from Montana when my husband noticed the tire on our rental was about to blow. He spoke with the rental car company and they sent a tow truck to help. Shane, with Rapid Towing, showed up and was absolutely wonderful! He was quick with loading our vehicle on the flatbed and was able to take my entire family in the truck to switch out vehicles after we were told only one person could go. He was extremely nice, funny, and professional! He knew right where to take the rental at the airport and saved us a lot of time by transporting my whole family. I was insanely impressed with this company! After a stressful situation, I was truly so grateful for the professionalism! I called this morning and the dispatcher was kind and knowledgeable. They got someone out quickly. I got a confirmation text when my car got to the mechanic, it was such a relief after I had a bad experience with a different towing company. After getting into an accident on our family trip to the Black Hills area, Rapid Towing was a huge life saver. Their company was recommended by our insurance company; they (especially John, who was our driver) were quick and able to get our family off the road quickly and safely. In addition, they were helpful in finding a local auto body shop along with problem solving on the spot. We were over 500 miles away from home, and this was all so appreciated. Stuck in the mud
I had to cancel an appointment with another company because they were over 30 minutes late. The dispatcher was courteous and helpful and able to get me on schedule a few hours later, on Sturgis Rally Friday! Awesome! Joshua was early to my appointment with a great attitude. He had my car loaded in 10 minutes and beat me to my destination! Then he graciously helped push the car into my garage! Outstanding! The whole thing was done in 30 minutes. I was so impressed. I was broken down in the Badlands. My insurance company was no help with finding a tow truck driver. I was afraid I’d be calling everywhere. Rapid Towing was the first place I called. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Josh showed up from Rapid in less than an hour and a half (fast considering where I was). He was quick, professional, and courteous. It took 3 mechanics before we could find one that would take us, but Josh kept a good attitude through it all. I would highly recommend using these guys.
I felt wonderfully confident in the care of the team at Rapid Towing. Mike was affable, prompt, courteous and determined to put my day on a much better path than it was when I had to make the call.

Awesome prices! It was a lot cheaper than I was expecting and the service was amazing. Called short notice and they were able to tow my truck within the hour! I don’t remember the man’s name who helped me but he was very friendly, professional, and he knew why he was doing. I was about 60 miles away from town but it was a lot quicker than I was expecting it to be. Definitely recommend!!
These guys were selected by my Roadside assistance. Shortly after receiving the message they were on the way they arrived. JD pulled in and was extremely friendly, kind, and courteous. He was knowledgeable and took his time making sure to secure the bike on the flatbed. Was a conversationalist as we drove the 20+ miles to the destination. Since we were going past the hotel I was able to drop my gear before leaving the bike at the shop. Pull up, bike delivered perfectly. JD was a great guy who took a bummer situation and turned it not so bad. As much as we enjoyed our time together I hope to not see him again. But if you are in need of tow in Rapid City and have a choice this would be a go to company.
