Had Sioux Falls Vanderhaggs put a used pack car engine MX 13 in my 2019 579 did an OK job got it back with two engine lights on it. They didn’t have the computer capability of figuring it out. I had to take it somewhere else and spend $3300 And they found a pin on a plug-in bent, which happened in the install. And the exhaust waste gate was froze shut. Spent $26,000 almost had a truck that ran with two engine lights on it.
I purchased a Kenworth T680 from Vander Haag's. The process was painless and quick. They also offered a 30 day warranty on the truck, which gave me some piece of mind and time to look it over good when we got it home. I would highly recommend them and will look here first for our next truck or trailer.

Bought parts here twice now. Both time customer service was great and my items arrived safe secure and in a timely manner. Highly recommend for your used parts needs.
I bought a herd bumper from them. Went to pick it up the pin was missing and it was strapped to the pallet. Waited over an hour for them to find the pin for it which is a very important part because it holds it in place when its installed. I went to install it and both mounts were broken and the bumper fell off the mount. You could not see this when we picked it up due to it being in the folded position and strapped to a pallet. I called the salesman and he agreed to pay for the fix. I had it fixed and sent in the invoice and now they told me a salesman cannot authorize a fix to items purchased. I would never buy from these guys again unless you take an item off the pallet and fully inspect because whoever took it off had to know both pivots were broke off. They are a joke and just out to charge big prices for broken junk.
Very pleased with their prices. I was in a bit of a pickle with my 1962 Chevy C10, with a 12 valve Cummins. But was able to find the right adapter for the lower coolant hose so it would be properly installed, thank you.
Needed a part for my f650 rollback. These guys were easy to work with and the part arrived quickly and fit like it should. I will be telling all my towing buddies about this place and use them in the future.

Went around everywhere looking for a mechanic. Everybody said they were 3 weeks behind and need to pull out my transmission to figure out what is going on. These guys fixed the truck in less than 30 minutes and had me on the road. Also Great pricing did not try to rip me off.

Jeff was an excellent salesman. He made sure the products got to me and I received them way ahead of schedule. I had one of the headlights I ordered come without a dust cover. With no hassle Jeff found the dust cover replacement and shipped to me free of charge. They will be my go to for parts needs for my truck fleet.
I came across this company through an add online that stated they are qualified and certified in installing swap loader hook lifts. I decided to check them out and was greeted by what I call the best sales man ever because this man was able to sell me the worst deal possible. A job that was already $4,000 more than their competitors turned into a grand total of $18,000 extra. When first speaking to the salesman that assured me 1. the price would not change especially since I paid in full at the time I brought in my truck and 2. that they specialize in this type of job, I left satisfied with an agreed upon date of two weeks to pick up my truck. When the date to pick it up came around, I was told it was not ready and that they would be charging me extra labor hours because the mechanics “had never installed a swap loader and they were learning on my truck”, words that came from the mechanic manager at the shop. After waiting another 2 months I was told it was finally completed and I could pick it up. I arrived only to find my brand new 2020 truck would simply not start. They gave me so many excuses, tried to blame the cold weather, and simply said the most they could do for me was charged the battery and send me on my way. Something I found ridiculous being that the truck was brand new from the dealer straight to their hands. I went directly to their general manager and demanded they return the truck to me working and with no problems, it took another 2 months to finally get it back in my hands and I am praying that I won’t have any future problems with the truck. I am not satisfied at all with the job they did, you can definitely tell this was the first time they installed a swap loader and are definitely not qualified for this. If I could give them zero stars I would.
Would not recommend buying a trailer from this place ever, one of the worst experiences and lack of customer service. We purchased a brand new trailer that was in stock but at a different location and was told they could have it here in 10days for $900 shipping, well the 10days came and was told due to a 1 day snow storm they werent able to get it on the agreed upon time, but the sales guys messed up and told us they needed to take a trailer to the location our trailer was at, at the beginning of the following week and could bring ours back so basically trying to get 2 shipping charges out of each customer for one trip and I understand that if you can do it and be able to deliver at the promised time but instead they pushed us off and when we asked then to take half the shipping off since they were going down anyway and they were unable to make the delivery on the time they promised we were told no. Then we get a call the following week that our trailer was hit in transit and that they would make it right, well they managed to get us an identical trailer in 2days however when we went to pick it up the person they had haul it to their location left the traps and tarp open and the traps were blocked with ice and had about a foot of snow in each hopper when we asked for them to pay to get it cleaned out the sales guy said, well don’t you have a heated shop you can put it in and when we said no, he then relied I suppose you need to load well it’s thurs and we didn’t buy the trailer to look at. He then said he needed to go ask his boss and they did pay for the washout, but it took 2 guys and my husband an hour to break the ice and washout the snow and then instead of the company calling and paying the company for the washout, they then expected us to go back wasting more of our time to get reimbursed for the washout. With all this the salesman said well I hope we made it right with you... MADE WHAT RIGHT?!? You didn’t do anything, but prove to me you could get a replacement trailer in 2 days and showed me you wasted my time on getting the original trailer. Making it right would have been waving the freight fee because the freight was completely inadequate and when the 2nd trailer showed up with 12inchs worth of ice around the hopper blocking any possible way of getting the foot of snow out, you would have had the trailer cleaned and ready to go when we picked it up.. the problem is the customer service is lacking in this company and appreciation that should be shown when a customer buys a 37k+ Trailer to get treated with an ounce of appreciation and when you can’t deliver you do what you can to make it right. If our experience is any measure of how your business runs, I am amazed you are still in business. So unbelievably disappointed in our experience with your company
Just wanted to give a thumbs up to David Johnson and the Sioux Falls store. Ordered a used exhaust pipe monday afternoon. When I talked to Dave it was still on the truck. They removed it and got it shipped the next day(tue), I had it in wisconsin on wednesday. I have bought parts from their stores in the past and will continue to do so. Thanks again.
Update 2-18-20: I ordered a headlight bezel for my freightliner on friday. Had it shipped by speedee delivery. David Johnson took my order. Expected the part on tuesday. It showed up monday afternoon and on top of that it was undamaged and exactly what I ordered. Thanks David. Once again, a happy customer.

I bought an 06 International from vander haags when I picked it up with 30 miles it overheated and I took it to there mechanic and come to find the engine was bad. It took another for the sales manager to come back from vacation and he said he would find me another truck so another 2 weeks past while I was waiting for a truck I called the manager several time but he never returned my call, he sent me email saying the truck would be in on the 7-22. I finally got the truck on 7-31. It cost me 5000 more than the 06 meanwhile I was renting a truck costing me 850 a week and they didnt seem to care about it at all. The first day I drove the new truck it blew a brake line I called the salesman and he told me he was sorry, but that cost 1000 to get that fixed. So dont buy vander haags junk go somewhere better!!!!

Amazing experience with Vander Haag's! Our company's Ford F-550's tool box wore down so much that the door wouldn't latch and the bottom was going to drop out (i.e. major hazard and extremely dangerous to other drivers). We dropped the truck off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon of the same day with a brand new and improved tool box. They even coated it for extra protection. Their pricing (including extras and such a quick turn around) was unmatched by other truck equipment and service companies out there. I highly recommend Vander Haag's! We run four F650's and a couple of smaller units. They are knowledgeable and get to the root of any issues we have. Jerry is responsive and ready to help us with anything we need. I bought a ASV RT75 Track loader from these guys and they were great! Jess Solsma was super responsive, answered all my questions and gave me a fantastic price, helped with shipping, installed a backup camera and was generally great to deal with. I called a dozen dealers to find the machine I wanted and most just didn't seem that interested in selling a unit, Jess and Vander Haags were great and I highly recommend them!
