Just a Great bunch of people !! My son had a flat tire down town at 6 AM couldn’t get the tire off so we called them and Keith came in no time to fix it !! Some of the worst customer service. They will also squeeze you for every dollar they can make off you. Definitely recommend finding a different tow service

Buyer beware! If you buy a vehicle at their junk auction you won't get a title for months! They have been reported to the South Dakota Dept of Revenue!
People were not willing to work with me in any way shape or form to get my vehicle out just wanted to make as much money as possible and were extremely cold towards me and rude
As I was sitting still during 8 am traffic on south cliff, there was a school bus trying to turn left and traffic was backed up for blocks I watched your tow truck driver use his lights, block both lanes of traffic so the school bus could safely cross traffic. Kudos!! 9/16/24
Vehicles got towed from apartment complex first day after moving in. Understandable situation because we forgot to put parking passes in window the day we moved in. But the tow truck driver was rude and unprofessional. When we paid fee at the shop he said “easy money” as we were walking out, And the lady we dealt with was also very unprofessional. She just laughed the entire time we were dealing with her like it was a joke. $500 dollars for two vehicles that were there for less than two hours. Wouldn’t recommend dealing with these people.
I would like to start off saying, all the bad comments about this company, are not true, the people must’ve been rude to them. Nothing on my truck was damaged, nothing was stolen, it only costed 277$ after all day yesterday and the tow fee. it’s never easy coming out of work to your truck being gone, but I called the PD then Eastgate to find my truck, These people had it in their lot. I was upset when I found out they closed at 5pm and opened at 8:30 because I work 7:45 to 5:15, but I got that figured out. I went there this morning and got my truck. The dispatcher was super nice and was making jokes with me, super kind and helpful even unlocked the gate for me to drive out
My sons car would not start 2 days after being in an auto shop for a week getting new starter. I called Eastgate to have his
vehicle towed back to the shop. The guys were very knowledgeable and ended upgetting his car to start. They were courteous, explained what happened and how to take care of it . My son was so relieved. THIS kind of service is is good to remember. I would recommend this shop. Thank you!
Our son’s card broke down in a parking lot last week during the blizzard and bitter temps. I called several tow companies over the weekend and Eastgate was the only one that answered the phone. I knew all were extremely busy, but they said they could get it done in 24-48 hrs. I was pleasantly surprised when it was at our mechanic’s shop first thing the next morning. My son had his car back on the road that night. I would use them again for sure.
I had a very negative experience. I called ahead with an officer regarding what the estimated payment would be, given the company had a photo of my vehicle. Base pay was 185 and was told it wouldn't stray too far off from the price. For a towing process that took an entirety of ~8 mins and a 100 yard tow, I was charged over $500 and shown the price only after I had paid!! This a predatory towing company!
Keith is the rudest employee ever, trying to act like the owner. He wont take accountability and is a very shady crooked tow yard. Don’t recommend. They scratched and caused damage on our new Tahoe.
I was stalled on the interstate five miles from my hotel on a cross country trip out west. Tow services in the area was extremely busy—but Eastgate came through with flying colors. The dispatcher was calm and reassuring; Logan, our tech, was polite and incredibly helpful. It was a stressful situation and I was far from home, but felt as though this company cared. Highly recommend!
This is my first time ever going off the road and being stuck in the snow and it was a rather traumatic experience. After spending 48 hours working with another company just to get a tow set up they cancelled on me. I started calling towing companies from A-Z just so I could get on a waiting list after we had been pummeled with 12+ inches and everyone was swamped. I came to the number for Eastgate and they were one of the few that had a real person answer and not a machine telling me everything was booked. Beth was so wonderful! I just asked if I could get a tow, when it might be, and if not if I could get on a waiting list. This was the first person who was not rude to me and gave me a time frame, plus put me on a list. I called that morning at 11:30 expecting a tow by the next day if I was lucky. Beth called back at 6 that evening and asked if I was ready to get my car. I was in shock to say the least. Since I needed to get a ride Beth told me she would let Francis know he could start while I made may way back to my car. When I got there he already had my car almost out, told me exactly how my car was going to feel due to the snow, and was overall just provided some positivity for the situation. The best part was the price I paid after was less than everyone else had quoted me by 50-100 dollars. I think it is safe to say they will be one of my first contacts if I need this service again. Five stars is not enough!
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! They stole inventory that I had in my vehicle and tried to charge me extra. Not to even mention that old man with glasses trust me you don’t wanna start he conversation with him he will start insulting you. I asked them to please speak to me without cussing but they were very rude and even talked about sueing me????? After I payed 3k to get it back they said they still have they car title so they can keep it. I’m not letting my money go to waste or at least for this company. They tried to lie to me and say it was $50 a person when I went but actually it’s 45$ cause I called them over the phone before. So please guys I would not recommend. I still have some more things I would like to share about this…

I have used Eastgate several times for jumpstarts/unlock/tire changes & i usually get the same Gentleman (his name slips my mind) but he is always very nice. I had to use them today for my 15 year daughter who had a flat & he met us put the doughnut on & even explained to her the difference she will feel in driving & the safety of speed, ect...

I had to call Eastgate Towing last week about a car that was towed to their facility. The woman I spoke with was kind and knowledgeable, giving us all the information we needed about next steps and was considerate of our time - helping us not to have to make multiple trips out there, when we could consolidate into one, if we did things in the right order. I appreciated her smart advice and helpfulness.
The gentleman on the phone was nice, and understandable and prices were fair as well. Thankful for the gentleman coming out in the cold to get my car out after being stuck in the snow. Highly recommend this service! Thank you!
All about the money not a bit concerned about the customer. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone that might need a little understanding and respect. Was told the owners were very kind and helpful but wasn't even allowed to speak to them upon request! My daughter was denied her car seats and property unless she paid almost 2000$ for a vehicle she was unaware was even in their possession. They can keep it and the stuff inside for that kind of greed. Not everyone in Sioux falls has class or is considerate of a person's circumstances!
Very satisfied with Eastgate Towing. They were very prompt in coming to my vehicle after my call. The driver even checked my battery to see if it was a quick minor fix I might be able to do myself before loading it up and bringing it to the mechanic. I appreciate that you were able to go the extra mile and do that simple check for me--someone who knows little about cars. Thank you!
Amazing company!! They were prompt, friendly and extremely customer service orientated. Treated me with kindness and went out of their way to help ensure I was taken care of. I had my car towed to a repair shop and the next day they called the repair shop to ensure the receipt was in my car and to save it for me. Very impressive, honest, trustworthy company. I am recommending them to everyone.
Their hookers are legal! Great service, the guy who came and helped me out was super nice and he was quick to get me off the interstate. Being my first time outta Iowa and breaking down I was freaking out and they were such a blessing! I accidentally over paid and first thing the next morning they sent me a text about me over paying and had me come pick up the extra cash, which is very suprising, but so wonderful!!! I would recommend them to anyone in the area!!

What kind of company is only open for 1.5 hours on any given day? I understand its a ma pop company and you can set your own hours but at least mention pickup hours on the website. It says in more than one place this is a 24/7 tow company. Really? An hour and a half???
They were exactly the type of people I wanted to work with when my tire blew out at 6:30AM on the way to work. The person on the phone answered all my questions and quickly took my information. The serviceman who changed my tire got there in a reasonable time, had a great attitude, and took care of everything quickly. They made it a painless and calm affair which helps when you're panicking about work.
