If I could give 0 stars I would. They came out and the guy said he can’t get me out cus he might get stuck. So I got out myself and he still charged me 137$ for coming but not being able to do the job
We had our alternator die on our Honda Odyssey. Chris and crew towed it and replaced the alternator for less than our local mechanic. We gone back for a couple other items. Great communication. Great people!
After calling 3 other companies with an hour out time to get to my driver, these guys dropped everything and went to him! Towed our power unit in to repair and took our trailer on to our delivery! Awesome group of guys!!!
My car's transmission died on me and Chris not only was fast to the destination (about an hour away) he stayed with me until my ride was almost there and then even called me to make sure I was picked up safely. Chris was super helpful, friendly, and patient. I wouldn't want to rely on any other towing company.
This company is a scam, plain and simple. Platinum Towing towed my car over a parking ticket while I was out of the country on my honeymoon, and they outright refused to release it to anyone but the registered owner — even though multiple other towing companies confirmed that a signed authorization and ID would’ve been perfectly acceptable. Platinum chose to make things as difficult as possible.
When I had a different towing company call to try to retrieve the vehicle on my behalf, they threatened to increase the fees if one more person called them. That’s right — they literally said they’d jack up the price just because we were trying to find a way to comply with their ridiculous demands. It’s obvious they were exploiting the situation to make more money, knowing I was out of the country and desperate.
Their customer service is aggressive, rude, and completely unethical. This company doesn’t just lack basic professionalism — they prey on people in vulnerable situations. If you can avoid them, do. They shouldn’t be in business.

If you’re stuck anywhere nearby call this company. Chris was our angel, truck broke down right out of Sioux Falls. He was so incredibly kind let us stay on his property with our trailer. Gave us the security we’d be ok. Then took truck to dealership and brought hubby back to trailer. He was so fast incredibly efficient and knowledgeable. Offered to bring back not only broken truck but trailer as well all the way to CO. You can’t beat the service Chris gives! Need a tow, this company hands down is the one to use. We were stranded with a tire blowout on our 5th wheel...I mean totally destroyed!...on I29 and Chris came to the rescue. Friendly, professional and worked quickly to put our spare tire on for us. Highly recommend!
We hit a deer on I 90 west of Sioux Falls. We were in a Rental Car and the car was damaged to much to keep driving. We had a terrible time with the Rental Car Company until Platinum Towing Owner Chris came and helped us! He was very quick to come load up the vehicle and was extremely helpful and polite and cared about our situation. He went out of his way to assist us to get where we needed to and all 5 of us were comfortable the whole time. He had a nice clean cab for us to ride in and took the vehicle all the way to The Owners home over 300 miles away! I’d highly recommend using Platinum Towing!! Best service around! Was waiting a couple hours on the insurance company to find someone and finally decided to make a call myself. Another towing company referred me to them being I was towing a camper trailer behind when I broke down. He got me back to town and set me up with a great repair shop that got me up and running again. I would highly recommend to anyone to give Platinum a call no matter what vehicle or setup you’re broke down with!
From the time we contacted them, we were back on the road in about 15 minutes. Quick response time and replaced the trailer tire quickly. Friendly drivers and staff.
We rented an RV and had studs and lug nuts fall off while driving on the interstate, causing us to lose tires and control. Chris was the only person who acknowledged the fact that it was late and our four kids shouldn’t be stuck on the side of the road. He came out immediately in his own personal vehicle to transport me and the kids to a safe hotel and then went back to tow the RV. His immediate assistance and kind heartedness made our terrible situation a much easier one to deal with. Highly recommend.

The belt in our car went out just as in got in Sioux Falls and it was at a time on Saturday afternoon when no repairs shops were open
So we were in spot since we are from Brookings and needed our car towed back to Brookings.
