had a terrible experience with Renner’s Meat Corner. I dropped off my deer minutes after harvesting it, only to get a call three days later saying the meat was “rotten” and unusable — and that it was somehow my fault. After asking questions, I found out the deer had been left on the floor of a room-temperature cooler, preventing it from cooling correctly. That’s negligence, not customer error.
To make matters worse, I never received my antlers, and the only “compensation” offered was that if someone donated a deer, they might give me that one — whenever and if that ever happened. Losing an entire deer because of their carelessness and then offering a maybe-someday replacement is unacceptable.
This was my first time using their business, and it will be my last. I cannot recommend them based on this level of negligence and lack of accountability.
“Green Hatch Queso” so good that anything else tastes like garbage. If you take a minute to taste every bit of the beef stick it truly is sensational. It’s the only adjective that I can think of to describe. Honestly, it’s ruined all other products like this. Major factory to local this is hands down the winner by miles. Perfect balance of cheese, meat and pepper. I’m obsessed with these things now.
Oh my goodness, I just discovered this amazing jalapeño sausage, it made the most flavorful spaghetti EVER! I'm from Washington State and will definitely be ordering more!!
Best meat in the state! Been going here for their jerky since the 90's. Glad to see them expanding and seeing their meat sticks at local get n go stations in Sioux Falls.
Best local locker—the beef jerky from here is the best in the MidWest. Always happy with purchases from here and we will go out of our way just to make a trip to Renner's corner.
Best jerky around. Food and beer little expensive. But it's small town. Great people. Best meat locker in South Dakota. Take all my Deer and Elk, ETC there. Don't know if they do Pigs to butcher?? Let me know if y know?? Thanks
I had dropped off my deer 2 hours after I field dressed it. 2 days later they call me and say that the meat no good and they threw my deer in the dumpster! There was nothing wrong with the meat and I have two witnesses that say the same thing. This is the second time that they told me the meat was no good. Both times there was nothing wrong with it. Then! The charge $100 to cape the deer. I take the cape and rack to my taxidermist and he was shocked at how they did such a terrible job skinning the cape. Never ever take anything here! If anyone asks where to take a deer.....say anywhere but here!

Been getting beef and pork done here for years. They are great for remembering how past orders were done and calling to ask if we'd like any changes. Meat is always prepared excellently and cut to perfection. Love how flexible they are with pickup times as well with our busy schedule. Shout out to them for going along with our requests for the bones and tallow! They really do the extra mile.
Called several places. This place needs a 100 stars. Bought a 15 pound prime rib roast w/o the bone. It just melted in our mouth. I cooked it for a Family feast called statedvwhhat I wanted they called us back ready for pickup and less then an hour. Here the outcome of the Prime rip.
Visiting Sioux Falls from Minneapolis and was told I should stop in, and it did not disappoint. Great selection of meats and cheeses. Everything was so good and fresh. I will be back!
Really great business. Run by friendly and helpful employees! Meat and cheese snacks world class and store very nice. They processed some deer into sticks for me and they are amazing. Honey BBQ the bomb folks!! Super fair price for what you end up with too!
This is such a good meat locker. The meats here are delicious, and the staff is friendly. I love to take the drive and go get some meats from here. And definitely buy some of the jerky they have behind the counter. Tell them the amount you want to spend, its absolutely worth it.
The best beef jerky! I buy it to send to my boyfriend who lives out of state because he mentioned it specifically. They have all kinds of wonderful meats, right inside the little gas station convenience store. Service is hometown friendly and the meats are very high quality. And it is so close to Sioux Falls - straight up Cliff out of town or just an exit or so North of Hwy 38 on 29 - easy to get to.
We had a mixed quarter processed with you about 2 - 3 months ago. I want to say how happy we have been with everything. ESPECIALLY how you packaged the cuts. Love that you wrap the cuts in plastic wrap and freezer paper. Nothing leaks while thawing and another layer of protection against freezer burn. Thanks. We’ll be back!!
