Refused to help me when I broke down on the highway just outside of Custer. Said they would not tow me where I wanted to go because they did not like the mechanic at that location. In my opinion they are not a customer oriented company.

Great service! Was the only place in Pierre that was able to help our buddies. They were bringing a bus on a bachelor party and this company met them, got them the right tires, got them changed and made sure they had everything they needed so they could get back on the road so they could meet us in deadwood
I was on leave from the Navy and visiting SD. I Was driving through custer state park when I veered off the road into a snow bank. I called black hills towing and within a hour they got here they managed to get us out in just a couple minutes. Very respectful and professional to military. Black hills towing is providing the gold standard of towing.
Jeff was amazing and went above and beyond! Our family hit a deer while on vacation and we were towed within about an hour of our call to AAA. It was late, so we were towed back to town and then he came BACK to pick us up the following morning and took us to Rapid City. He stayed with us, gave recommendations, and took us multiple stops, until we had a solution for our car problems! Amazing service. Very grateful for the humanity and kindness he showed us!

I was hauling my travel trailer on some very rough back roads trying to find a good place to camp when there was a very tough spot that I got my truck and travel trailer stuck in. I was able to unhook and get the truck out and Black Hills Towing was able to follow me all through the trails and get it out. A standard tow truck, or any other big truck could NOT have gotten this out so I was very glad to have found them.
Called at 11 am told me they would be there at 3. At 4 Pm I called again and they informed me that they forgot to update the call. So they said they would come again at 5:30. At 5:50 I called and a very rude, stoned sounding person answered and said he cancelled the call at 4:10 with no notice because he "didnt feel like it". Dont ever work with this company, I lodged a formal complaint at Geico and I hope none of you are unlucky enough to deal with this disaster of a company.
We were stranded on a backroad off of the wildlife loop in Custer State Park. Not only did Black Hills towing come pick us up, but they also connected us with an auto mechanic shop that was open on Saturday and hauled our van all the way there. All for a price that was much less than we expected. Highly recommended!
They came to Sylvan Lake in Custer State Park after 430 PM to help us get in our locked RV. We had mistakenly left our keys in & unable to get in. Tried several ways & was able to get us in. Great help. Thank you!
