I never thought I’d be reviewing a towing service, but these guys are awesome. We hit a shovel this morning and blew our oil pan in Fort Mill. Clint (I think) was over in less than 30 min and towed us to the shop. Definitely made the bad day a little smoother. Thanks again!
Edit: just used these guys again (six months later) to pick up our beater car and haul it to the shop. Came out in less than an hour and charged $125. They even offered to do the paperwork at the shop for me. Can't say enough good about these guys.
We have had nothing but good experiences with Coleman’s! We needed my brother’s car towed this morning after an accident. Clint came out to help us immediately and took not only our car, but the other person’s as well. Coleman’s goes above and beyond to provide great service.
I had Coleman come out and help me tow a new(to me) project car. They were quicker than expected and very helpful with loading and unloading the car even with the car not wanting to run and a flat tire.
I was a little overwhelmed when my car stalled this morning in Fort Mill. I live in Charlotte!! I reached out to Coleman Wrecker Service. They not only quoted a fair price for the tow, but they were able to get to the location within about 30 minutes. Clint safely transported both me and my car to a nearby repair shop. He was both helpful and reassuring. I highly recommend!!!!!! Thanks Clint!!!!
This place is terrible. Working with them was like pulling teeth and also they were extremely rude the entire time. But also they weren’t even good at their job.
I truly have a great distaste for writing poor reviews because I love it when small businesses can thrive. That being said, I do not think this business should see another day. The company is poorly organized and does not produce good work, however, their most prominent vice, is how terribly they treat other people. This is the first bad review I’ve ever written and hopefully it will be the last.
Our son was in an accident in Lancaster late last night (deer vs car). Not one towing company in Lancaster would come out to help us. On a whim, we called Coleman’s in Fort Mill (25 minutes away). He came right out, towed it back to his lot for the night and was very kind. It’s not often that you find people willing to go above and beyond, and when it happens, it should be recognized. Thank you for helping us last night!
Over the past six months, we've had to have two cars towed, and both times we called Coleman's Wrecker Service. Their team was professional, friendly, and provided excellent communication throughout both experiences. I highly recommend them for anyone in need of towing services.
I give one star bc he showed up and successfully towed a truck.
However, he parked it IN THE YARD. He made no attempt to straighten himself out once it was obvious that it was going to end up in the yard. Half his tow truck and 3/4 of the towed vehicle were on the grass. He caused damage to my yard and the yard next door. Oh, and btw, the truck belonged across the street.
When asked why he put it there, he said “it could get hit if I left it in the street.”

You should be liable for the damages to my yard
And if you planned to park it in the middle of the yard, you should have communicated that to the person that had it towed when they asked you to park it in the street

The damages could have absolutely been avoided if you had stopped and communicated with the parties involved
Driver was fast on time extremely nice and very caring for my vehicle. My car is really low and this is the only tow I’ve had where my car hasn’t been scraped on the ground!
Very rude and unprofessional.. ONLINE THE HOURS FOR THIS BUISNESS STATES THAT THEY ARE 24 HOURS so at 7:30 am I called to inquire how much it would be to get my husband's car out and was immediately snapped on by a man with the nastiest attitude saying DIDNT I TELL YOU LAST NIGHT WE OPEN AT 8AM and THEN he proceeded to hang up the phone on me. Which is sad because I never spoke with no one the night before. Maybe he spoke to a family member but it wasn't me. It doesn't take anything from you to be kind to others.
UPDATE: Right after I posted my review 11 minutes later the guy called my cell and said ""Hey is this Candra Butler thank you for the 1 star review." I said Your very welcome and hung up. The level of unprofessionalism is sad.. I don't understand why he felt the need to call my cellphone back in response to a online review.
These people are Crooks! They caused multiple thousands of dollars of damages to my vehicle as a result of a tow then tried to lie about it and cover it up instead of doing the right thing and covering the cost of the damage. They are dishonest people so deal with them at your own risk. They don't care about people and conduct shady business.
Glad that I stumbled upon Coleman's while searching online for a tow truck to remove my vehicle from an accident! They have been nothing but a pleasure to work with !

Needed a car towed on a late, rainy Sunday night due to an accident. I was impressed as to how fast they came to help. The job was done in less than 20mins! I am forever thankful for this company during my time of need! Highly recommend!!!
Coleman’s came to the rescue after countless letdowns from other providers. They were prompt with quick and direct communication. The driver, Ken, was extremely friendly and helpful. Only regret is not calling them first.
Mr. Coleman was nice and cared enough to ask questions to make sure his services were truly needed. He arrived quickly and got my car where it needed to be on time. I would use him again in the future.
I’m so thankful we were able to find this company. After calling 2-3 other tow companies only to be informed there was a 2 hour wait, Ken was able to show up within 10 minutes. Our car was broken down on I-77 in rush hour traffic so time was so important. He was kind, quick, friendly, and affordable! Thank you so very much!!!

Great towing company. Knowledgeable staff, very friendly. Was on site to tow my vehicle in 15 min. Very competitive prices (way less than other companies). I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a wrecker service.
Used this towing service three times, out of the three times I have had two great experiences with other tow drivers. Cutting me deals when they can and being extremely friendly and thorough. But on my third request I managed to get Coleman the business owner himself and he was extremely unprofessional throughout the phone and in person. When he arrived to the location he simply looked at it and said “Can’t do it” and gave me vague excuses and left without a word. Had to call ANOTHER towing company that said they could do it with no hassle and got it done in less than 20 minutes, and even gave me a ride no less as I was stranded. As the other reviews state, do NOT use this company and if you do request ANYONE but Coleman himself. He will leave you high and dry with nothing to offer in return for wasting your time.

Over the course of two days beginning Feb 14, I waited a total of 16 hours for a tow. When my insurance finally double dispatched another tow company on Feb 15, the original "liberty towing" which is listed as USA towing with a completley different phone number than what they had given my insurance... finally showed up at 6pm 10 minutes after the secondary tow company had called to let me know they would have someone headed my way. The guy who arrived was extremely rude and mean.
Side note: on Monday Feb 14 when I tried to reach liberty towing, the number this company had provided my insurance company, I reached a company that is 4 hours outside of Charlotte who informed me that this is about the 10th time this has happened and the ACTUAL company I needed to be calling was USA towing of Fort Mill. I was informed the reason they did this was to avoid any and all bad reviews etc.
Thankfully I was assured by the escalations department for Progressive this HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL company, who has no regard for safety, would be removed from the contract list. If you are given either USA Towing or Liberty towing by your insurance, DO NOT USE THEM! You CAN request a different company

I was really surprised to read negative reviews about this business. I guess perspective really is everything. So here's my perspective for what it's worth. I was stranded on the side of a busy road with my 2 toddlers...total nightmare. I called the first 3 tow services that popped up on google, none of which were available to help me. With panic starting to set in, I tried Coleman. He was there within 10 minutes and charged what I felt was a fair price. I will forever be grateful for his kindness when I really, really needed it. Mr. Coleman is a real-life superhero to my kids!
We had a very good experience with Coleman's wrecker service. The driver (Gene) with 30 years of experience, was very nice and went above and beyond to make the experience pleasant. I highly recommend this towing service.
I called this guy expecting him to be sweet like his review stated. I told him where my car was and where it needed to be towed to (literally 5 minutes from its location) and he quoted me $55. I asked him what were the odds that he could run me to the Harris Teeter off of Gold Hill Road (which he had to pass to get to my house anyway) so I could go to the atm and get his tow fee. This guy rudely said "I don't run a taxi service, I run a tow service!" Wow! I guess he didn't want to earn my business. Nevermind the fact that I didn't pass out or argue with him when he said he'd charge me $55 for a 2 mile tow!!
