Experience was straightforward and easy. Received less than if I had tried to sell the car on my own, however I was pleased with how things went and would consider doing business with CfC again. Thank you To Jose and the ladies I spoke with at the CoPart yard here in Spartanburg.
The process was smooth and Hafsa was helpful. My only problem was the $ 378 offer online vs the $200 actual amount offered (that I accepted) over the phone. Besides that it was great. I got the 200 that I thought I would get by calling a local salvage yard. So it worked out ok.
They will only pay the bare minimum for your car. Everyone that I spoke with was an English as a second language person so if you like being an interpreter this is the place for you. They called me at 9:00 the morning of the scheduled pick-up and said the truck would arrive in 1-1.5 hours. I called back twice during the day asking when were they coming. Finally the wrecker showed up at 3:30. So I had to wait practically all day at home. Needless to say I can not recommend them.
People were very friendly on the phone, but I had a few problems. There was a lot of confusion resulting from miscommunication between departments about my address and when to tow my car. We arranged for me to meet the towtruck at the mechanic's where my car was so I could give them the title and they could give me my check-- that was set for the afternoon window (1-5pm). I got a call after work that day telling me they'd already picked up my car and did I want to do the title-for-check exchange at their office or through mail. I had been expecting them to call me and leave a message if they needed to change the pick-up time, but there was no message only a call I missed because I was working. I did get my check at last and mailed them my title, but the towing incident and hassle of miscommunications left a bad taste in my mouth.
When I first called I was able to get a quote easily and was told the title of my car would be fine then when it comes to making an appointment for pick up Roger said the title of my car is an issue and to go to the dmv to get it fixed. Tried doing a same day title change at the dmv and they told me some completely different information than what Roger was telling me, supposedly he’s worked for a dmv and was “right” on the info he told me, which he was not. Called back and got transferred to 3 different people only to deal with a rude woman on the phone. You’re much better off selling your vehicle for more money on a public marketplace/vehicle flippers especially if you have some title issues or need to get rid of your car asap. I got way more money selling it on a marketplace than what I was offered here.
Service was fast and fair. Very little fuss on my part. They picked up my car, gave me a check, and it was all over and done with in no time. Esteban was great and easy to work with.
Friendly, Courteous and Straightforward. Our 2015 Honda CRV had the Transmission go out. After get a few estimates, we decided not to fix it. We contacted Cash 4 Cars and went through their processes, which ultimately led us to selling them our CRV. Happy with the whole experience with them.
Everything went very smoothly online and on the phone. Communication was easy peasy and I appreciated everyone’s efforts. The only issue was that the pickup vehicle was 5 hours late with no contact until they were 30 minutes away. It would have been nice to receive a call or text that they were running behind schedule.
The entire process was easy and very professional. We had an old 97 truck that we wanted removed. After giving details about the truck including having a clean title and keys, a reasonable price was quoted and a time for pick up with 24 hrs of the call. The truck was removed easily and a check given to us. I couldn’t be happier.
Had plans to sell a car and then daughter got into a fender bender. Timing was an issue and the cost to repair didn’t make sense. In came Cash for Cars and all thing considered it was extremely efficient. I live in CA and car was in SC and none of this mattered. I’d recommend them for sure.

When you call the first number a woman answered the phone, very pleasant, and communicated well. When I called back to accept my offer a man very arrogant, and did not communicate effectively transferred me to another department that said I needed my title before I get any further so I was to call back after digging it out. When I called back the arrogant man answered and told me everything was scheduled and they will call me in the next 2days contradiction of everything I was told even by him before this point. I called back unsatisfied and was told to call a different number by the first woman again. Then scheduled the tow for the next morning got up early regardless of my personal work schedule and never received a call. I called back the number at 12:30p and they say it's scheduled tomorrow. I worked till 1am got up and the rest worked out. It's a lot of hassle with the poor employees that these companies tolerate
