Do not purchase a car from here. They sell you a warranty bumper to bumper. But will not fix or look at your vehicle. I called another dealership next to this place. They say this happens all the time with spartanburg dodge. They sell the warranty and put there name on it as your primary services. So no other dealership can help you.

Overall experience was good and positive. Devin was a great help , easy to talk to and down to earth. I’d take only a portion of a star* for the dealership if I could do half because of the internet prices, they were misleading and there was a little of the “game playing” there but... Overall good and we are happy with the final outcome! Nice facility

My husband and I moved to the area 5 months ago. We used the service dept. for oil change and tire rotation. Lisa was the nicest knowledgeable and kindest person. Thank you Lisa. Recently returning again for service I bought a Ram Big Horn 1500 from Isiah. He is a miracle worker. He is my second person to say Thank you. Fantastic... seriously, I knew what I wanted before I spoke with anyone. I dreaded going through the process, but honestly... they were awesome. No pressure, did not push. Basically asked me what I needed to get into the vehicle and then they made it happen. I kept expecting things to go sideways... but, nope... they were awesome. Adam was my salesperson. Polite, respectful, and very supportive. Brad, sales manager, was super knowledgeable, genuine, and made everything happen exactly like he said. No hassle, and no run around. I love my truck, and I am pleased with the deal. Thank you!

I purchased my vehicle here, and cannot be anymore thankful for how it went. Devin was my salesman. I cannot say anything negative about my experience with him. He and the team worked hard to find me what I wanted for the right price. He spent an entire day with me as I was a more difficult client because my other half was at home watching our son. He helped coordinate a way to get my husband to see my car so that we could move forward with my purchase. I have had several poor experiences in the past with dealerships, and I was just so grateful for how it went. The team in the glass room for price negotiation were very reasonable and spent time working on a deal that would work for both of us. The finance gentleman was very knowledgeable and helpful, and on top of that he was the only one there that day and he still gave me his full attention after a very long day. After purchasing my vehicle Devin continued to be helpful as he helped me figure out appointments for my vehicle. Highly recommend this location.

25’ Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve. Lisa in service is great! I do 5k oil change and service intervals on all my vehicles, Lisa understood what I wanted and went above and beyond. Super knowledgeable. Highly recommend Jeep of Spartanburg service department.

I hit a deer, could have been a small moose. Had my vehicle towed here, and man they really took care of things. Brian was my service guy, every time I called, he was always there and took my call. If he didn't have the answer; he always called me back right away. What a professional service department. Really went above and beyond! I sure hope they see this!

Recently purchased a new Jeep Wrangler…
Looked at price points at several dealerships and Spartanburg Jeep had the best, no nonsense price (no bait and switch tactics). Salesperson was top notch (Devon) and the finance department experience was seamless. Additionally, the dealerships lot/building is easy in and out (relatively new development). Zero complaints…

Buyer beware (especially first time buyers). This location slid in extended warranty paperwork on an international employee of mine. The employee had no issues at 3 other dealerships with me joining him. As soon as I wasn’t present to look out for my guy, they slide in extended warranty paperwork (for only 39,000 additional miles) for $3000. They refuse to work with him on removing it. Parents don’t let your kids go here alone. For those with international workers, keep them away from this place. I’d recommend Lake Keowee Dodge for a more reputable dealership that will treat people with common courtesy. Please read full BBB review for further details. Shame on this dealership and taking advantage of young, inexperienced car buyer. UPDATE: After numerous attempts to reach the GM and providing reviews, the dealership has offered to void the purchase altogether. They would not simply remove the extended warranty. Better than nothing. Review adjusted accordingly.

I recently moved to Spartanburg and have been bringing my jeep for regular maintenance and had a new alternator put in. I have been working with Bobby in services. He is GREAT! What stands out to me the most is how honest and genuinely helpful the staff is. During the time my alternator was going out I had brought it up there a couple times to have it looked at. Expecting bills each time, I was pleasantly surprised that I was not charged even for a service fee. It would have been easy to nickle and dime me, but instead I was met with a genuine helpfulness and kindness. It is very rare to find that "mom and pop shop" feel at a dealership, but they really do care. Thanks!

Just had one of the best & worst maintenance experiences of my life. Great due to service manager Ricky Jordan. Terrible due to using Endurance Vehicle Warranty. Ricky went out of his way to help coordinate with Endurance who fought us every step. I want to thank Ricky for all his help and patience, which led to a positive outcome.

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my new Ram from Spartanburg Dodge. I initiated the sale online and was then turned over to Hugo to take care of everything. Hugo went above and beyond and was absolutely amazing to work with. There were a couple minor things we needed to get done on the truck and he coordinated the time with service, met me at the service department to ensure the service team knew each thing that needed to be fixed and then inspected himself to ensure everything was exactly as it should be before turning the truck back over to me. Thank you for an amazing purchasing process!!

UPDATE 5/31/25, 6 MONTHS POST PURCHASE: On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, I was on my way to work and it was raining out, I had WATER LEAKING into the cab. Called this service dept same day and they agreed to squeeze me in on Saturday with warning that the window people are only available on Fridays, but happy to take a look while getting my oil changed. Upon arrival to the appt I’m told they weren’t sure why I was told that, they are unable to do anything about it. The guy is only available on Fridays. I have no problem coming in on Fridays if I can get a loaner, but the issue is this place is still ridiculous about giving out loaners!!! I am a nurse and I can’t just call out of work for vehicle issues! I bought this truck brand new with all the add-ons with hopes of dependability. There isn’t a single reason why I shouldn’t be able to get prompt service when there’s an issue. So here I am in limbo and praying this water won’t damage anything while I wait on Spartanburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep service dept to find me a loaner to schedule the service. I don’t know how many times I can say it, BUYER BEWARE!
AND surprise, surprise… I NEVER EVEN HEARD BACK FROM BRADLEY OWENS WHO COMMENTED BELOW FROM “CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.” I reached out on 12/21/24 without a single response via email or phone call. Go somewhere else that will take care of you!!
Bought a 2024 Ram 2500 Laramie on 11/23/24 from this dealership and I’m here to tell you to take your time and money elsewhere folks because the customer service here SUCKS!!
I love my new truck. HOWEVER, I find it absolutely ridiculous that when I come to the dealership not once, but twice, to complain and the windshield wipers streaking, ineffectively cleaning, and squeaking, that they would just be replaced to shut me up! How is it that one can purchase every single warranty/add-on and still be told that it’s “normal because they’re new,” as if I’ve never purchased windshield wipers before and that “there’s nothing we can do about it.” I mean, if you pay $77k+ for a brand new truck, you can’t appease a customer by replacing something that costs maybe $20. INSANE.
In addition, the seal is hanging down in my rear window . Isaiah from the sales dept. told me that the part would be ordered for replacement and someone would contact me for service. It had been 2 weeks without hearing a word, so I bring it up today 12/10/24 with my original sales person, Javier. Javier informed me the part had indeed arrived, and I would need to drop the vehicle off for the entire day for it to be fixed. I asked if I would get a rental and was told, “they most likely wouldn’t do that.” To which I replied, “well this is my ONLY means of transportation and I do not intend on spending the entire day sitting at the dealership waiting.” To which I was then going to “possibly be accommodated with a rental, but be sure to call on the date of service to verify.” ABSURD.
If I could return this truck and go to a different dealership to buy the EXACT same truck, I would. As a travel nurse, I buy new vehicles often due to high mileage and wanting to keep a vehicle under warranty while I travel across the country. This has been by far the worst buying experience ever aside from the phenomenal experience I had with Noah in finance.May 31, 2025 -
Can’t say enough about how great my experience went in purchasing my new Jeep. It was the easiest quickest car buying experience I have ever had. Scott Burgess made the whole process so easy. He was very welcoming when we arrived, showed me the car and made sure I was happy with what I was getting. It was worth the hr and half drive. UPDATE PENDING…. As I am awaiting answers to a few big questions.
So far I am 100% satisfied with my purchase of a new gladiator jeep!
The price was better than any other dealership even though some options were not available on the lot…I did have to add a few things but they had a much larger inventory than any other dealership I have visited. I also didn’t have to go back and forth for a “best we can do” deal. They just started off with a much lower price. And Redd…my salesman, was fantastic! A good honest Christian man. Purchased a new 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee from here December 2024. My wife picked one out that was all black 4x4 tow package, we made it known we wanted a 4x4 and tow hitch already installed. When I got off work we both went back looked at the car. I didn’t want all black they had another jeep the Salesman Isiah said was the exact same car, tow hitch everything we wanted was available in the dark grey so we said we’ll take it. While we are signing paperwork they took it around back to wash. When the jeep came back around it had noticeable hail damage a scratch and moisture in the rear taillight. They took pictures said they would fix all that for us. The next day I really get to looking at the hail damage and notice what a lackluster wash and the whole car seemed sprayed with tire shine. I popped the bumper piece off to install a ball hitch and what do you know no hitch and noticed the spare tire right infront of me with Dry rot in the tread of the tires. The jeep had 3 miles on it when we bought it, Fast forward we had to pester the Salesmen Isaiah and the service department to get a new taillight and the scratch removed. Jeep had to be dropped off and left over night two separate occasions. Salesman said he would work on making everything right with the hitch and new spare tire, he didn’t just lies he tried to make it seem like he could do something he didn’t he got his commission and didn’t look back and I gave up and just went and purchased a hitch myself and the service center Manager Phil claimed he didn’t see any sign of dry rot on the tire claimed he looked at it his self. I tired to speak with him about the tire when we picked the car up the second time but was met with an excuse why he couldn’t speak with me. We put a very large amount of money on a down payment to lower the monthly cost and thought the salesman and service center manager would make it right with us, I know I should of confirmed it had a hitch before I signed and left the lot but I took his word that it was the exact same vehicle. Moral of story is always double check everything from the damn oil on the dipstick to the spare tire when buying from this place. 10/10 Don’t recommend!

I rarely write reviews, but I feel strongly about this one! I've bought 4 vehicles from Spartanburg Dodge over the last eleven years and while I have had great sales people in the past, NO ONE was as great as my salesman this time, George!!! He's new, but fantastic to work with! He was beyond patient with me as I checked out every truck on the lot trying to figure out what would be best for my family. He was patient, kind, beyond helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. He really invested time into getting to know my family and our needs and was a tremendous help with this vehicle purchase. At no time did I feel that high pressured, aggressive salesman type of personality from him that everyone hates to deal with. But at the same time his sales skills and his ability to sell a vehicle does not lack! He is so good at his job and exactly the kind of person every customer hopes to interact with!! Noah- the finance manager was also great to work with. He worked hard to find us the warranty we wanted with a price we could afford. Now Brad the sales manager shorted us a little on our trade in, but lucky for him George was our salesman. George saved Brad's a** on this deal because after all if I was gonna buy a truck, I was gonna buy it only from our new family friend George!! George should really be put in charge of training salesman on how to sell cars!! He's that good! I pray he is still there when I'm looking for another vehicle in the next 2-3 years. Spartanburg dodge please do what you can to hang on to George! He's a rare gem! So if you need a new vehicle, I highly recommend you ask for George and buy from Spartanburg Dodge!
One more thing, both batteries went bad 2 days after I bought the truck and they replaced them right away for me, no questions asked. They truly are a great dealership to work with!Dec 22, 2024 -
Trying to buy a 2024 Ram Laramie or Limited or Limited Elite. Trouble for me us I prefer a 4x2 not a 4x4 because I don't haul anything or ride in conditions that require it so I can save $4-$5,000 bucks on the cost plus it's not wanted! Did you know 19 out 20 trucks are 4x4? They want you to pay!
Next I asked for a 6'4" bed because I do need that not the 5'7" short bed truck, again 19 out of 20 are short bed. It does cost an additional $300 to order the 6'4" bed on a Limited but worth it.
Why is it so hard to find what used to be plenty of 4x2 trucks with a 6'4" bed?
My last problem with buying a new vehicle is all the dealerships seem to be banding together to not give discounts like they used to do. My last 5 brand new, same year, new vehicle purchases, I held out & recieved 20% off msrp. Now if I want a 2024, the best deal out of 12 dealers was 15% from 1 dealer & the other 11 dealerships only gave 10%-12% off msrp. Higher priced trucks, with more tec in them, means more profit. They can afford to give 20% off & still make coin. Then they try to sell me 2023 models with the same discounts, the truck is a year older than a 2024 & I'm supposed to accept the same discount!! I'm not stupid. When I drive a '24 off the lot, I lose 20% value, a '23 loses 30%. This dealership didn't try that on me, so 4 stars. When they give me 20% off msrp on a truck I want, then I'll be happy to give 5 stars. My salesperson can only do what the manager tells her to do, so I don't blame her for not making a sale. As long as people accept their less than good deals, they will keep doing it, just not to me.
