Feeling taken advantage of. Called and spoke with Gene about a replacement rim for my car. Gave make and model. Came to location, ordered the rim for my car. Paid on the spot. My husband picked it up right near close of business the following Monday. Took the rim to a location to be assembled on my car and when they caught sight of it they immediately said I had been scammed. I was given a spare tire rim with four lugs and my car has 5. I tried calling but have not yet been able to discuss this. Very sad at the time and money spent on something that doesn’t even fit my car despite giving the make and model. I hope to hear back from salvage city soon to fix this. They seemed like nice people. I’ll update when this is resolved. Update: Leaving the initial review so everyone can fully understand the caliber of people here. Spoke with Gene this morning and he kindly listened and gave resolution that I couldn’t be happier with. The prior reviews that led me here stood true. Even when mistakes are made Salvage City owns up and does their best. Thank you Gene.
First, of all I live in Memphis TN . Chris and Gene went over and beyond to assist me long distance. I was in need a 1998 528i BMW driver side door handle. The first I received was a failure so I called back and these guys went to work and by the end of that day I received a phone call from them stating that my part was on it way to me. I greatly appreciate Savage City and will definitely be back. Salvage City you are the best you rock!!!!!!!!
Found them through Ebay. Called in to check on some parts and Steve was amazing over the phone. I'm in AZ and parts got here 3 days later!!! Faster than Amazon! Wow wow wow. Will definitely order again and highly recommended!
