Great place for scrap metal, tires, motor oil, TV, some items in limited quantity.

My visit to the Richland County Recycling Center was very pleasant. Obvious that it was my first time visiting, a young man named Bailey came out to assist me. Not only did he provide guidance but he also assisted by removing a heavy TV from my vehicle. His professionalism and kindness was greatly appreciated.

I visited this recycling center for the 1st time this past Saturday with a car load of items to be recycled. Lakeet and Matthew were most courteous and helpful. It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend this site for all Richland County residents. Thank you!

The place is not clearly marked! If you use navigation it will take you 100 yards pass the entrance. There are a lot of signs but you will drive right pass this place.

I'm headed there in two days to dump tires and tons of trash ! Now every other time that I've utilized this location it went smooth as silk .it should be known that I've never taken tires so I'll post how that goes one last thing they allow 2 visits per month for every resident of Richland county

We went today, March 29th at 1:15pm and the nicest people were working. Although our trailer was a little bigger than allowed, they let us dump our debris. Thank you for being nice and professional!!! You guys rock!

Pretty straightforward process, check your id, then you drop off or dump what you're leaving. They accept everything BUT mattresses and food, that's what I was told when I asked.

Very convenient. Except the hours on Google don't match their actual hours. I tried going on a Sunday because Google maps says they're open. But when I arrived the gate was closed and the sign said they don't open again until Tuesday at 8am.

Went Saturday and impressed. Went back today Sunday 2pm and was closed. No sign. Nothing yesterday either. Careless. Drive 45 minutes with loaded car of wood. Very disappointing

There’s nothing on the website that indicates what they do not accept, they would not take any household trash or recycling or anything. How are we to keep our community clean when there is nowhere for refuse to go, and waste management does not pick up everything that needs to be picked up at a residence. Richland County is not green in any regard. A disgusting place to live, tax dollars go to pockets of politicians only.

Won’t take trailers anymore u less you have like a 4ft (who has a 4ft trailer my truck beds bigger) and they are they not open Monday thru Friday? Or 7 days a week? It’s a free public dump thag OUR taxes pay for
Aug 08, 2023 -
Won't take trailers over 6 ft, so if you save up trash till you have a trailer full, you got to bring it way across town

Cannot dump mattresses here. They take scrap metal, wood and plastics. Plus, other household recyclables. Staff was very helpful.

Male employee was totally disrespectful to me and another citizen using the the site by his tone of speech to the both of us on Friday evening 4:13 p.m-4:22 p.m. Then he demanded me to give him my name to which I didn't give him.

Staff was courteous and helpful in directing me to the correct bins for different materials. Be mindful of hours of operation and county regulations lest you make an unwarranted trip.

The overall location is great. The only thing that needs change and updated on the site is the times and days the location is open

Great place and its free! No reason anyone should be dumping trash on our backroads:)

Provides a helpful service. My only gripes are it not being clearly marked from the road (i drove by it and had to turn around) because its tucked behind a graphics shop (i think?); and i wish there was somewhere closer to NE Columbia that was not particular about what waste it accepted.
