Not sure who was worst, Progressive or this J.R.'s towing. Waited for over a hour for them to show up to have the driver say "I can't tow you. I have a soft tire. The boss told him to just cancel the call" the left. That was it. Poor way to run a business and leave us stranded. No suggestion, No sending out another truck. Just left. After posting my review, the owner called me up and was very nasty with me. He said I was a liar and that I try pulling one over on progressive. He told me that his driver never said he couldn't tow me and that I was too cheap to pay for the trailer to be tow with it. As with the tow company that did tow me, I had unhooked the trailer so it could be tow as I had told his driver. The owner was not even there to know what his driver told me. Money was not the issue. Having it towed and to a repair shop that wasn't permanently closed was.

Provider was dispatched but never arrived and made no attempt to contact me. I waited past the ETA and had to request a re-dispatch. Very frustrating experience.

If you need Tow Service trust me this is the place to go to the quick to respond they're extremely polite. Chris hook me up got me home, I have a lowrider Cadillac and he treated it highly with respect and did extremely good job and if i ever need a tow again they would be definitely the ones I would call. As far as having to get towed, never a good experience. These guys were great. From the gentleman I initially spoke with to to the young man (I wish I could remember his meme) that actually towed us, made a very unfortunate situation as good as possible. Got a nail in my tire while going home to Tennessee. Even though it was a busy day for all tow companies, JR made my tow a priority. He took great care to protect my vehicle and looked around my van to make sure to choose the best way to tow it. He was quick, friendly and efficient. I would feel very confident to use them again if I lived in the area.

Ethan was an absolute all star. We blew a tire on interstate 26 on a 2500HD Silverado and had been waiting 3-4 hours for AAA to show up. Ethan answered after one call and showed up asap, within 30 minutes from his last job. Once he picked us up he transported us extremely efficiently and got us to a tire shop. The tire shop was not able to get us unless we waiting 3 hours for an open slot, Ethan helped us get the tire mounted immediately and even installed in the vehicle. I cannot say how much we appreciate Ethan’s help and advise anyone in the area to give Ethan and JRs towing a cal immediately for any issue. He worked with us in every aspect and was extremely fair on price and timing. Five star old fashioned service!! When I had a tire blowout on I-26 and called these guys, their driver, Chris was there within the 25 minutes he promised. He greeted me professionally and directed me to his clean- cigarette smell free- truck while he CAREFULLY loaded my car onto the trailer. I drive a Prius with a very low front end. I had a blown out tire with no spare on a trip back from Florida. My family and I called Johnny and he was able to meet us within about 30 minutes. There was not enough room in the tow truck for all of us so Johnny had a driver bring the truck and he brought his personal vehicle for me and my family. Over and beyond exceptional service! He could have easily said no however he found a solution to take care of us. Johnny and his team are one of a kind. Thank you Johnny.
I can't say enough good things about JR here, my wife's car got hit by a flash flood last week in Orangeburg about an hour and 15 away from where we live. I was very nervous about having her car towed far away to our house, but we had to do it. No problem at all, I called JR around 11 and we had our car before 3 this afternoon, at such a reasonable rate. Extremely professional and friendly, excellent driver too! Recently I found myself in a very poor situation as my car broke down on the highway while driving through the tropical storm. Other companies I called seemed uninterested in picking up my vehicle and quoted very long wait times, along with very high prices. After calling J.R’s towing, I spoke to Brandon on the phone, who immediately was very empathic and understanding of the situation, quoted a much more affordable price, and displayed a healthy sense of priority and urgency in helping myself and my car move to a safe area.
After his quick arrival, he was very knowledgeable, logical, and efficient when handling my vehicle, along with being patient when answering my questions. He earned my complete trust and confidence in his abilities. He was very personable, polite, and professional. JR'S towing service was great, I had flat tire coming from work on highway 301. It was night, in a very dark and strange location. I was scared and I prayed asked the good lord to send me help. He sent the best JR'S Towing , I truly recommend this towing service. He was professional,he kept in contact with me until he arrive, I felt safe. JR’s towing is outstanding!! Highly recommend. Unfortunately had car trouble while on a 900 mile trip requiring my car to be flat bedded the rest of the way to Charleston. Called JR’s towing and John was very professional, gave an accurate time estimate to get to my location and a fair price to transport 80 miles.
