We had a blow out while pulling the camper. I was directly in front of the Diesel Man Truck Center. I was able to pull into the gate during business hours to get off the main road. The owner's son, Nash, came right out to help me and had the tire changed for me in 10 minutes. Thank God this all happened at the perfect place and time, and for their help because my impact would not break the torque on the lug nuts. The customer service was not asked for, but I can't thank him enough. Nash went above and beyond and had me taken care of without even wanting a payment for service. Thank God for Nashs heart and willingness to help me in need. I will remember him in the future when I need it!!!!
Avoid this place at all costs. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing and will overcharge you for poor service. Save your time and money — we strongly advise staying away.
Extremely poor experience. Despite not being fully functional, they still billed us as if everything was running normally. We simply replaced a tire, but they charged for a full hour of labor — completely unreasonable. In all our time in this industry, we’ve never encountered service this bad. Definitely not a place we’d recommend.

Stay away from this place,Absolutely disappointed. I pulled into this place with my box truck, already fully aware of the issue and armed with paperwork confirming the diagnostic codes. Instead of discussing anything with me, they jumped ahead and hooked up their own scanner—without my consent or even a heads-up. Then, to add insult to injury, they charged me a staggering $250 just to confirm the exact same information I already had. No added value, no new insights—just a hefty bill for something I never asked for. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Total waste of time and money.
I had both of hubs on the passenger side of my boat trailer break off on my way to Myrtle Beach. I was barely able to get it off of the highway. Trooper Tracy from the state police called Dieselman Truck Center for me and assured me they were who I needed for this job. They were. From the time Clinton arrived, his calm nature and assurance that he had it handled put me at ease. He and Ben smoothly got the boat loaded safely. After towing me to their shop. They were able to get me 2 new axils and install them. They coordinated with my insurance company, and Ben kept me informed of everything as it happened.
They made a pretty bad experience much easier with their professionalism and great attitudes. I hate that my boat trailer broke down, but I am glad that it happened where Dieselman was the towing company.
If you need a tow, this company is the one! I drive 60k miles each year and unfortunately have a lot of experience with tow companies. I have never had a better experience. I give a lot of that credit to Fore, my driver. He was down to Earth, kind beyond measure, and carried great conversation! He helped make our 2.5 hour drive feel like 30 min! I would hire them again without question!

Talk about a company that can get you out of a jam. We were going on a spring break vacation and were traveling Easter Sunday. We got to the South Carolina line and had transmission overheat issues. Now it wouldn’t have been to much of a big deal if we weren’t towing a 36’ travel trailer. We made it to a nearby campground to keep from being stranded on 95. Got my thoughts together as to what I needed to do. Made a few calls, one of which being this company. Now I didn’t expect anyone to answer, I figured people were spending time with family and friends. Tracey who was dispatch answered, I told her what I needed and gave her my info. She had to make a few call to see if anyone would do it for me and call me back being it was quite a request. After a bit she called back and said she had two drivers Ben and Josh that volunteered to do my tow. She said they would be here in two hours and they were here at 6pm Easter Sunday. They picked up my truck, drove to Virginia to bring me my sons truck. These two guys drove through the night and had another truck back to me by 5am Monday morning. Talk about service! Thanks again Ben, Josh, and Tracey, you all are great. I hope this company knows what great people you have on your team. Diesel Man, take care of them because they are taking care of you.
Fuel filter change. 447.50. . 1 flat rate hour to change filters and 1/2 hour for paperwork. $75 diagnosis fee. Total $337.50 labor charge. Plus parts
The tech didn’t know what he was doing. He changed the filters but didn’t wait to fill them with fuel. The motor was air bound. He sprayed himself with fuel and then said he never saw such a thing. The motor wouldn’t start for hours. We finally called our tech in CT And he told us what to do. Upon finally leaving, the check engine light was on. We went back in and we were told we had to pay another diagnosis fee ($75). The service writer came out and cleared the code but it’s back on today. They threatened to impound the motorhome because we complained about the price.
$87.50 to write up a simple bill. This is a hidden charge with no estimate that I will be contacting the BBB and the state department of South Carolina
Diesel Man helped us out of a major jam last week when one of our farm trailers slid into a ditch well after dark. This could have been a dangerous situation with the road blocked but Diesel Man’s wrecker showed up promptly and took control. The wrecker operator was calm, courteous, skilled and most importantly safe as he was able to extract the trailer from the ditch. He took great care to make sure our equipment wasn’t damaged during the process and had us back on the road within thirty minutes of arrival. While you hope to never be in a position to need a wrecker, when you do need one it’s nice to know Diesel Man’s crew is on call and ready to assist.
Our class A motorhome had a break failure while on our way back from Myrtle Beach to Ontario, Canada. After being stranded in a gas station parking lot on a Saturday in Aynor, SC, for 14 hours trying to find a repair facility, no thanks to our roadside assistance provider, we thought we had found one and the Diesel Man was dispatched to tow us to said facility. When the tow operator arrived, we were cautioned that said facility was somewhat suspect so upon further research we opted not to use that facility and thank god we didn't. That's another story. The tow operator made a call and the Diesel Man repair facility in Florence agreed to do the repair so off went. The guys at the shop were very professional and accommodating. A couple of days later after a full brake line replacement, we were on on our way. Made it home 900+ miles safe and sound. I am super thankful to all of this folks and would highly recommend.
After our RVs motor blew up this was the only company that would help us. Kelly, the dispatcher was awesome and could not have asked for any better customer service. Dan, the wrecker operator, knew exactly what he was doing. He took very good care of our RV and us. 5 Stars across the board.
Had a blowout on the RV. It was the rear dually and the rim bent. Towed my rig with care and got me back on the road within 24 hrs. I was worried this was going to be extremely expensive for 2 new tires, a rim and a tow. Probably the most reasonable repair ive ever paid. Really happy with this business and is now my go to for all issues with my Motorhome.
We broke down on I95,traveling from Florida to Massachusetts, we contacted roadside assistance. They said that help was on the way, diesel man truck center should arrive in about an hour. The driver did arrive in a little under an hour. The driver( Alex) was excellent. He made sure we were ok. He loaded up our car and transported us and our vehicle to the closest dealer, about an hour away. He helped us get our luggage from the car, stayed with us until we had all the dealer paperwork done. Alex then offered to bring us to a motel. Great car was taken in transporting our car, the truck was comfortable and the driver was outstanding. If you are ever in the Florence S.C. The driver was very friendly and got us hooked up and moving along quickly. The downside is we were charged $375 to be towed 1.6 miles. I couldn't beleive the price.
Started out good then went bad very bad . Talked the driver into towing it back to their shop 1 mile charged me 500 for that. Said they would work on it first thing in the morning. The u-joint broke and said it needed a yoke. Well they started working on finding a part the next day at 2 pm. Well now the driver has to sit for 2 DAYS now. Long story. I had it towed back to Charlotte with another company my bill was $1560.00 to take out a u joint and look for a yoke 3 hours before they close knowing that the closest place to get parts was 40 minutes away. I had to call them all day. They never called me once. Stay away. Tow it elsewhere to get work done I’m telling you. Learn from my mistakes with this place. They know that they are going to RIP you a new one.
We lost a rear tire on our double axle camper today. Clinton had to get creative with moving the good tire to the back so he could tow it safely. He was amazing, came quickly & got it safely to where it could get fixed. Would definitely recommend this company!!!
Diesel Man Truck Center staff was professional and courteous. The gentleman that towed my car called me to let me know he was on his way so I didn't have to worry if someone was coming. Very nice soft spoken man. I would use them anytime as well as recommend their service.

My wife and I had a very bad experience on Saturday, February 22 that left us immobile. We were on vacation and knew this late on a Saturday we would be stranded in our RV until Monday.
AAA contacted Diesel Man and Neil, Chris and Jason all went above and beyond the call. Not only did they get us towed they got us up and running. They saved our vacation!
