I see why they are rated so low! This place is an embarrassment! They have two girls and a guy that work in the office. One of the girls, I believe her name was Briana, lacks simple skills so she should fit in well there. Her manners are terrible! She will ignore you and ask someone else to help you while she works in flip flops of all things! She’s rude and very condescending as well. The other young lady will try to help the best she can. The guy in there I believe his name is Anson is the only saving grace they have. He knows his stuff! One out of 3 ain’t bad I guess. Get your act together Copart!

Ms. Robin was of great help and service. She was able to assist in tracking down a title that needed to be rebranded as salvage by the DMV. It was due to a claim one my customer at my insurance office had been dealing with. She was very kind with me and was able to locate and provide me with a status along with an ETA of delivery to the owner. Thanks again Ms. Robin for all your assistance.

Everyone we spoke to at Copart were friendly and wanted to help. From the receptionists to all the men working in the yards. The moment we arrived, a gentleman showed us to the right office to go in for our ordeal. When we got in the office, a gentleman named Anson was quick to want to help us. Anson was completely professional and friendly. His customer service skills are top knotch. He emailed our insurance company to help us reach them since we were unable to get them on the phone. He went above and beyond to do what he could to help us. Thank you Copart and Anson for all your help.

don't waste your time at this yard. They are the worst yard full of lazy employees including the manager Terra Russell who never responds to emails or calls even just seeking basic information about a lot. Yard is sandy and parking lot full of holes and ruts, and long wait times. What exactly is the point of an appointment when you can't hold your end of the bargain? IAA doesn't require appointments and has no problem loading vehicles much faster!

The worst place ever went on their auction sight and bought a car for $600 thought that would be it after sending them the 600 because on their commercial they say the price you see is what you pay, wrong everytime we would call and ask when can we come get the car they tell us more money each time I ended up paying out $1500 for a car that was supposed to be $600. For the past month I've been trying to get my money back but they said they had to put it to the cancellation fee, so now I have no car and I'm out of $1500 what hurts the most is I'm a permanently disabled veteran and I'm homeless this car was going to make it easier for me to find a home, but they decided to kick me while I'm down, but that's ok I'm just going to have to be homeless for a little longer because now I have to get an attorney their not getting away with this

HORRIBLY RUDE EMPLOYEES. Our car was taken to their lot to sit as an agreement with another insurance who we filed a claim with after an accident. They failed to deliver the license plate to the repair shop when it was dropped off and then refused to make it right leaving us trapped at an auto repair shop. The excuse was “no one is willing to drive it there.” The floor manager only offered a sincere apology that was given in a tone that was less than severe. I cannot give over how rude the employees were.

My radio was stolen from my truck. I was told that it didn't have the radio in it when they picked it up. I was told that a lot of things take missing at this location. Maybe it would be a good business practice to take photos and notify customers if something is missing from the vehicle to avoid blaming other trustworthy businesses owners.

I deal with copart often and this is the WORST location by FAR. I live more than 8hrs from them and when I received my truck, my tailgate was not in the truck bed as it was in the photos. They were completely unprofessional and kept putting the fault on my driver. I trust my driver and he said the part was not with the truck as it should have been. They didn't reply to my emails for DAYS and I had to make an 18hr round-trip to pick up the tailgate that Copart was at fault for me not receiving. When I arrived they didnt even apologize for how horrible they treated me. Do NOT recommend to deal with this location. They could care less about their customers.

Stole my license plate. So basically we agreed to meet at the dealership for me to get personal belongings out of my car. I call them to schedule the pick up and meet me over there and am notified that my cars already been picked up without notifying me at all and when I went to copart to get my belongings, my license plate was missing. We tell them that were going to get the police involved and magically they find the plate the next day and say they are going to mail it to us through fedex. They mail it through fedex and give us a tracking number, when we track the package it says they tried to deliver it somewhere in west columbia (we live in lexington) and that it was a failed delivery because they couldn't access the property. So they had it delivered somewhere that wasn't our house because fedex would have corrected the mistake if they just put the city wrong. we also have one of the most easily accessible houses and packages get delivered here all the time We contact fedex and they say it isnt in their system even though it failed to get delivered and they dont know where the package is. They also mention that the driver it was with doesnt even deliver to our side of town so we know they put a different address then ours to begin with. I guess these people that work here think were stupid or something and are just going to chalk it up to being lost by fedex. This company obviously doesnt care considering how many negative reviews they have here. I mean there are seriously 8+ years of negative reviews on here. How is it possible to be this insanely bad at your job and customer service that this place is even still in business. Only involved with them because its the service the company car brain uses to pick up cars that were sold to them in this area. Never use this place. Completely strange and criminal business going down at this location. As most other reviewers have said. This place is not worth your time if you can help it.

Absolutely the worst. Paperwork listed vehicle at one, and after making two trips to each, finally found heavy vehicle. Lazy yard workers, unintelligent staffing. Spoke with three different people on two separate occasions with no insight as to what was going on. No accountability on their mistakes, with 4 hours completely wasted. Shut the doors if you can’t get it right.

The worst Copart facility in the Country. Staff in the office is always rude. Louder can easily damage your car . After you picked up your car. they can continue to charge fees for parking for weeks. It’s impossible to prove anything, and you won’t be able to win anything anymore since the storage fees has not been paid off and the account is not working. Horrible experience.

Terrible customer service! My insurance company had my vehicle towed there to have the damage assessed. They totaled my vehicle out; however, I purchased it back from them. I was told by Copart that I was not able to come pick my vehicle up. I was lied to for two days straight saying that my vehicle had already been picked up and towed to my body shop only to find out that it had not been. The towing company they used just hooked a large chain and steel hook through my rims scratching them up. My car was rearended but when I looked at my car someone had taken several pieces a loose in the front and under the hood. Will NEVER deal with Copart again!

Terrible place to deal with. I purchased a car that was listed as runs and drives and after reaching out and talking with the general managers they refuse to help even though the vehicle clearly never drove. I have pictures and video evidence of this with the axle shaft completely destroyed and the whole suspension destroyed and jamming into the ground where it couldn't possible drive. There is no way this vehicle ever drove, they refuse to help in any way even though they lied in the listing. I tried going through the proper route and discussing with them first, but they were very rude and not helpful whatsoever. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from here. Will also be reporting to the BBB.

My experience with Copart has been horrible! My car was wrecked and Travelers took the car to Copart until an adjuster was able to come out. I was unable to get my belongings right after the wreck due to being in FL for a week and after that I was quarantining because of covid. When I was able to make it to the location to get my personal belongings as well as the tag they dispatched someone on the yard to bring the car. I went to sit in my truck and about 2-3 minutes later, the young lady came and told me that the car had been stolen. NO ONE notified me or Travelers of this incident. Mind you Travelers stated that the car was "totaled". A few weeks later, I received a video from a friend and they seen a gentleman driving the "totaled" car that was stolen. The person was so ruthless, they still had the personalized tag on the car!!!! I contacted the police department, nothing was done. A few weeks after that incident I received a bill from another towing company stating that the "totaled" car had been abandoned and it was now in their possession (missing catalytic convertor). I contacted Travelers and they retrieved the car and took it back to Copart.....of course EVERYTHING was GONE!!!! I've cried and cursed so much till it's sad, A LOT of emotional stress. I spoke to a manager at Copart and told her to just mail the remaining items to me. When I received the box on yesterday, it was basically a bag of trash!!!!!! Called today and now I have to send them a list of the missing items. Ms. Robin and Christy were nice to me but this entire situation has been a BIG headache not to mention the 2 to 3 times I had to travel 40 minutes one way w/o any results. I personally think the car being stolen was an inside job. I would NEVER take anything to their facility again if I could help it!!

Some of these reviewers definitely felt my pain and frustration apparently, so I know im not alone. For a moment I began to think I was just being a witch. NOPE. Lack of communication on the company's behalf, bottom line. That alone had me so frustrated due to the inconvenience and missed work it caused! THEN, after being rescheduled 4 days in a row without prior notice, they finally show up to pick up my vehicle. I couldn't be present because I wasn't missing work another day! My mechanic notified me once the check was in his possession. I pick it up and tried cashing it ONLY TO NOT BE ABLE TO!!!! I'm about to lose my religion!!!!! Its Friday, I have bills, and im not happy one bit. Period.

Very dishonest. Even If on the car description says Run and Drive, you bet the car is going to have major problems like engine or transmission problems. I had the same experience with the last two cars I bought from copart, I know is a gamble but they should be honest and put those cars on Mechanical categories, not on run and Drive categories, also the loader man at the copart facility, they don't care if they damage the cars when they load the car into the tow truck

They are so unprofessional. It takes HOURS to get your cars out of the fence. Idk what the point of putting your name in the tablet because they don't go in order. The office manager didn't seem to care when I brought my complaints to her, and dismissed them like they were not valid. For them to be this big of a company you would think they would run more smoothly and have better people in the office serving their customers.

Deserves no stars!!! I went through a nightmare (over a year) to get a salvage title after my insurance co submitted the request. I spoke with over 12 reps, between the Texas location and SC . I was lied to that it was be processed but found out it never was, then the title was mailed out and tracking number showed it never reach me. Then had to go the process all over again with them lying to me about working on it. When I finally got my title , it was mailed to my old address which was 40 miles away and moved 8 years ago! I had to drive over there to retrieve it because if I didn't, I would had to go with the headache of customer service ping ponging me around again! Not to mention when I tried to sell a car to them, tow person would not show up. Had to call everyday for almost a week until they decide to pick up the car. Copart is a complete NIGHTMARE!!!! Don't deal with this place if you don't have to!

TERRIBLE. Office staff is slow and unprofessional. This Copart has a satellite facility. Be sure to ask where your vehicle is. You may have an hour added to your visit because they may not tell you your vehicle is miles away at their Pine St. facility. Yard crews are poorly trained, and can be dangerous and unprofessional. One of the worst yards East of the Mississippi.

The worst Copart east of the Mississippi. Each and every aspect of this yard is poorly run, with an unprofessional attitude. Be prepared to spend double or triple the normal time in the office, and watch out that your vehicle is not damaged by the employees. Clearly the general manager of this facility needs to be replaced. From the unkept, cratered, eroding driveway when you first enter, until you finally get out of there - hours late with your vehicle damaged - every department you encounterw have an unprofessional attitude and incompetent performance of their task. This extensive of a train wreck is not the result of a few bad employees, or someone having a bad day. failure this consistent is the responsibility of the general manager. This ship is sinking, and the captain needs to be relieved of command. F-

I would much rather leave a good review but there is nothing good to say about this towing company please if anybody is reading this just please look elsewhere save yourself the trouble, save your self the frustration they will cause you to have, just save your self please. They have had me waiting hours to come and tow my car after calling me with no hour notice like they said they would saying a driver was at the location to pick up my car. I rush to the location just for the driver to not be here and to get continuous runarounds from the people I speak to on the phone I have missed time from work due to this company being highly unorganized and unprofessional. Please anybody who is thinking about using them don’t please don’t. I know that I'm a stranger I get that but please listen to this stranger and don’t use this company for anything.

After my vehicle was claimed as a total loss, my vehicle was taken to this lot. Since I live two hours away and had no time to retrieve my things since their hours are very restrictive, I had my insurance company arrange to get my things. After weeks of waiting and following up, I found out my things were stolen from the vehicle including my license, credit cards, custom rubber mats, along with tons of personal items. If your insurance company tries to bring your car here. REFUSE! Currently opening an investigation against this company and filing a complaint with BBB.

If you have claim with State Farm and they send your total loss information to this company you MUST follow up on your own - or accept unreasonable delays. I had two total loss claims within a month and had to contact State Farm who then had to call this company both times to verify they had received the overnight delivery of the title/key sent via UPS. This was needed to complete my claim and receive my payment. The first time I waited an additional week - the second time it should have been received on Monday and when I had nothing updated on my claim I again contacted State Farm on Wednesday so they could call and find out what the situation was. Both times I was told that Copart simply did not scan and log the information. Update your office procedures, hire better staff or something. These delays when trying to replace a total loss vehicle with much needed insurance payments are stressful and unnecessary.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with any type of business. Customer service representatives are rude, no way to contact their General Manager. My car would not have even been picked up if I didn't call to remind them the day after they "sent a driver" that never showed up. They've held important paper work from insurance company, because of what seems like pure laziness. I've had to call 5 different times over the past couple weeks to remind them of what they are supposed to be doing in regards to my vehicle, which could have been handled in less than 1 day if they knew what they were doing. If I could give them 0 stars, I would and I will never use this company again.

The only issue I have had is getting a person on the phone. When I went to the main office in Gaston to pick up my gate passes and titles the ladies were friendly and very helpful. The only reason I have not given them 5 stars is the difficulty reaching them by phone.

This place is a joke from the top down. I've talked and emailed members of this staff at every level and the lack of professionalism is impressive. If you are brave enough to call be prepared to wait for a while. You also have a strong chance on being hung up on as soon as a person picks up the phone. This facility has not only sold me cars that were grossly misrepresented, I've received an incorrect car all together before. This is by far the worst organization I've ever dealt with in my lifetime.

This company has the POOREST level of customer service that I have EVER experienced. I've called numerous times about the same issue. The GM Kevin Bond FINALLY contacts me and assures me the issue will be handles and 4 weeks later NOTHING!
