This place is a a joke. We took something over there on Saturday to scrap and they gave us .48 cent a pound, well this morning we took the exact same thing over there and we get .17 cent a pound and when my husband said something about it the guy replied "oh well we just did that because we wanted them to play around with them but when you came back with almost 800 pounds I had to call my boss to make sure". If you going to pay one price then it shouldn't change, or you could have said on Saturday we don't normally give this price but we will this one time because I want that to play around with. Instead of having me think it is the price you give and then when I bring a lot more the price all a sudden drops but a lot. That's a big difference. Like I said this place is a JOKE. Tells me they pay you what ever they feel like paying you. So BE CAREFUL IF YOU DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.
They Scam me out of $75 for a tail light. They gave me the wrong part even after collecting my Vin # to check. When I come back the next day all I got was sorry no return or return. Highly not recommended.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the metal that I was recycling. Customer service was next to none!!!! They didn’t try to low ball me or take advantage of the situation. At the end of the day, we have to trust their college of knowledge and I feel that these guys are very honest and trustworthy individuals who I will definitely go see when I am in the area.
I was looking up scrap prices and seen reviews so I looked at them, I would have to say anyone that has something bad to say seem to be first timers at scraping an seems to me they want new prices for old stuff well we live in the real world people and here’s were you will get the best prices and good people to deal with so shop around bet you’ll be right back to T.J’s. Best prices I've found. The only kind of big flaw is the drive leading down to the shredded steel section. It's very rough. Granted, if that's the worst problem I can find, then TJ's is definitely in good shape.

Went to take cans man at window got agitated didn't like the way I was pulling up. Noone told us they weighed cans at cans at back we ended up having to pull cans out of recycler poor service and poor attitude that day hopefully it's not like that every time you go
Good prices but a little lacking in service. The scrap process is easy but staff are a little jumbled and unclear. Only one guy seemed to really know what he was doing; the others were evidently just helpers and had to ask him for everything. This was my first time scrapping in the state and was not aware a nonferrous permit is required. I wish they had just casually mentioned the permit one of the three times I called. That isn't really their /job/, but it would have been good business. I'm probably not the only one to make two trips because I didn't know about the permit.
There trucks should not be on the road missing mud flaps on one side shooting up rocks and debris on highway also no tarp or way of securing load pieces of scrape metal flying out hitting my car
