Do not use this service in Clinton. The driver was called to an accident and towed the car around 3 miles and stopped at a gas station. He said he needed to leave and take someone to school but he would be back. We waited for him to come back around an hour and 30 minutes. When he returned, he told us he could only work in the Clinton area. He then asked for cash for the tow. He charged an estimate of $500.00 for 3 miles. A rip off. He was not equipped to accept credit card. I would not recommend this driver to anyone. He was very unprofessional.
I recently had my vehicle towed by them after an accident. as a former mechanic experienced in both mechanical repair and body repair it is my opinion the additional damage caused to my vehicle was caused by their improper towing. I contacted the company and gave them the opportunity to replace the damage parts out of their own supply. I told them where they could see the people and when I would be available they never showed up or called back.
I had an issue with my Toyota on 03/27/24. State Farm used Wilson's Towing. After the dispatch call was made, I immediately received a phone call from this company and within 2 hours my car was towed from Whitmire to Spartanburg Toyota. John Duncan was awesome and kept me informed during the process. He called me when he arrived at the Toyota Service Dept. GREAT COMPANY AND GREAT PEOPLE!!! GOD BLESS!!!
Great Experience with Wilson's Towing and Recovery! Driver was courteous and professional. Response time was quick and driver was able to get both my disabled vehicle and myself home in a safe and timely manner. I have long commute to work and back and the last thing I wanted to find was a disabled vehicle when I got off work and ready to head home. The driver turned this whole situation around by getting us home safely and as promptly as he could. High recommend this company!

Having a blowout and sitting on the side of the interstate is never a great feeling, especially in this heat. It was great to have such a quick response from John Duncan with Wilson's. He came out quickly, quoted a price upfront, was quick and friendly in replacing the tire. He even made sure to give me safety instructions about the spare to make sure I made it home safely.i He was a complete professional and I would recommend him to anyone that asked. They were also $20 cheaper than the competition.

They won’t show up. While traveling from out of state, I got a flat tire. This “company” was chosen through my insurance/roadside assistance. Originally quoted 30/45 minutes. Then it went to an hour (after 45 min went by) then an additional 15, then they stopped answering the calls from insurance company.
Don’t use these guys, you’ll regret it.

I called my insurance agent and they contacted Wilson to come help get my keys out of my locked car. They called me when they were on their way and were 100% professional upon arriving. They had the issue fixed within 2 minutes and did no damage whatsoever to my vehicle. Very honest and dependable and would recommend them 10 times out of 10. Wonderful service!
Transmission went out on my truck so I called Wilson’s for a tow to the transmission shop. While waiting on them to show I read previous reviews and started to worry. To my pleasant surprise the driver arrived within the hour, was friendly and professional, and most importantly he safely delivered my truck to the shop for me.
This is the absolute WORST towing company in existence! I waited for TWO hours for someone to come help after I made the request. Nobody came to help. I was forced to cancel my request and get someone else. They answered my call once and when I tried to call again, the voicemail was full. This was a horrible experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. ONE STAR IS TOO GRACIOUS!
Terrible service, rude people. Stay away from them if you can. I'd give a negative star if I could. Was told they would pick up my car off the highway in an hour, but it was over 6 hours before my car was towed 9 miles. Rude, very unprofessional and not worth the time of day.
Response to owner - this was on September 2 labor day and the original calls were made on Saturday/Sunday at about midnight and no one out of about 20 calls from my two different roadside assistances would tow my daughter off I26. I was very upset and then on Monday I got my roadside assistance and I had to work so couldn't be there with the car. Made several calls to them and you with total rudeness on your part and your driver's part. When I had it towed from Clinton to Honea Path on the 16th, I was even told that y'all were a joke by the company that towed me as well as by the place where my car was towed when I went over there on the 3rd to take my key. So if anyone uses you, they should be shot. Terrible people skills and terrible service.
OMG!... These people had me sitting beside the road for over 3 hrs. They could not find me. Even listed landmark s and they still could not find me. I finally gave up call roadside back to request a new tow service and the feeling was mutual. They decided to cancel too. The next service was to me in 30 min. I swear Wilson need new drivers.
Told 90 mins to show. After waiting 3.5 hours and reading the other reviews while waiting I called another company. Wish I didn't have to give one star. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys.

WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. This towing company does NOT care about customers at ALL!!! They left me sitting out by the road for close to 5 hours in the hot sun! Was given a ton of different explanations and excuses, I don’t think they were ever going to come! It was 95 degrees and we were in the sun. It’s amazing we didn’t suffer from heatstroke from this company’s blatant disregard for our safety. To be originally quoted 90 minutes was understandable, but to be then left for 4.5+ hours with the driver and dispatcher giving us different BS excuses. USE NORTHSIDE INSTEAD!!! When my insurance company dispatched them, they arrived within 40 minutes and the driver was so kind to us, very sympathetic of the situation we were put in. DO NOT USE WILSONS TOWING. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!!!
NEVER NEVER NEVER CALL THIS PLACE. TOLD TWICE THEY WERE TOWING MY CAR TO GARAGE ON 3/28 .ON 3/29 CAR NOT THERE. GARAGE HAD ORDERED PART AND HAD IT READY TO BE WORKED ON BUT NO VEHICLE . WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE.
Called AAA at 12:45 a.m. Wilson truck arrived at 1:30 a.m., 45 minutes earlier than AAA said they would. Very professional driver, had me on my way in 10 minutes.
This is a terrible service. Why Triple A continues to use this guy, I do not know because obviously from the other reviews on here, he consistently provides poor service.
We were told it would be an hour wait, it ended up being 4 hours by the end. Per Triple A, when they contacted him at the 3 hour mark, he was 5 miles away and the dispatcher just needed to determine exactly where he was and would call us.
Ten minutes later we receive a call stating he was 26 miles away and would be there in half an hour. 50 minutes later he finally showed up. We had to wait for him through a storm and waste our afternoon. By the time he got there, it was dark and the shops were all closed so we couldn't even get the truck looked at.
There was no explanation. We were just waiting. And from all reviews this just seems to be the service provided by the company.
I assume this place is only concerned with its semi towing operation anymore... Left me sitting all night new year and still didn't show... After calling back was told she couldn't get in touch with driver... This is the second time they forgot to pick up a car for me... But this time I was with the car... And for some reason I called again today and was told a driver was pulling in. The lady was going to check if driver had any other call and call me back... Good thing I didn't hold my breath. The reviews I see are completely correct and I agree Avoid this place... Not dependable... And actually over priced...
Avoid Wilson's! To think I'm somehow related to these fools.. First of all.. I dont believe they even towed my car.. I think they just drove it around and eventually parked it at the tow yard.. here's why I think that...
The car had very little gasoline left in it. (Yes it had more)
The passenger side door locking switch was broken.
There were gatorade bottles all on the floor amongst other trash.
The Wilson's are a hard working folk but my impression of this Wilson's business is they don't care about the customer.. and when you don't care about the customer, the customer notices...
I was given a 90 minute wait and the tow truck didn't come til an hour later putting my wait time and 2 and 1/2 hours instead of an hour and a half. The dispatcher wasn't helpful as to what was going on with the driver nor did we receive a phone call about a possible delay. Worst towing experience ever!!!! Don't use them call another towing company!!!
Truck was towed. Tow driver turned on hazard lights while truck was being towed. Hazards were left on when vehicle was dropped at service shop. Battery was killed. Truck was a 2004 Chevy Silverado...grey in color
