I honestly wish I could make this review more than 5 stars! These people deserve every 5 star review they get. Wife and I were traveling through South Carolina and blew our engine. Didn't know it was blown until we got it to Nicole and Co. She was very knowledgeable about our car and pointed us in the right direction involving a recall and helped us get it to the dealership. Had to get a rental car but dealership is replacing our engine for free next week! Thank you so much!
I Want to thank them so much for there assistance, I just bought a cari Columbia and was delivering it to my daughter at Clemson University. Check engine light cam on I called them from interstate 26 and they where available to check it out. They are a life saver because the code that came up would of cost up to $1300. We were headed to the mountains Friday for the Labor Day weekend when my truck started having brake problems, 50 miles from home. Brett & Nicole were great. I had the unfortunate experience of breaking down on the highway. When searching online for a wrecker, saw that SPx had a 5 Star rating. When I called, a friendly and helpful lady answered the phone. In a short time period, a friendly and helpful gentleman arrived to tow my car. As it turns, this is a husband and wife that own the business. Their professionalism, kind and helpful interaction is why their business has a 5 Star rating. I don't want to break down again, but if I do, I hope that I come across a wrecker service that gives the quality service that I received with SPx.
Best tow experience i have ever had, really affordable and negotiable price. They were there in less than an hour from the time i called. No damages to my vehicle while loading my car on the trailer, transporting, and removing my car off the trailer. Fantastic work

The lady inside was really nice to me and explained everything well. I really didn’t have anything major wrong with my car, but I definitely thought that I did. I’m so grateful I brought my car here because they were honest and did not try to create a problem out of nothing. I usually travel to fountain inn or Spartanburg for service with my car but I may use this place in the future. Spx Customs has done several mechanical repairs for us and I was pleased each time. Every experience was fast and done right. They have reasonable pricing and their customer service is amazing!!! Breaking down on the side of the interstate in an unfamiliar place is not good. Hearing Bret’s friendly voice and being treated so well made all the difference in the world. Bret stayed in touch with us keeping us updated on his ETA and quickly had us back on the road. They were definitely a blessing to us.
Had some front suspension issues. Called Nicole, took it after work around 4 and they diagnosed my vehicle that same evening. Fair price. I was able to pick my car up very quickly. Issue is fixed. Broke down in clinton traveling in my sprinter van from myrtle beach headed back to utah! Brett was super helpful and very nice, he picked us up from the hotel we were staying at down the road from our van drove it to the shop and dropped us off at a new hotel. VERY HELPFUL!!! amazing service and tow truck was nice and clean :) 100% recommend!
The service was overall great. Great communication. Part was malfunctioning after but I called back to explain what was going on. Returned it to them in a few days and they got it fixed earlier than expected. I definitely will be returning for more services.
We were traveling for vacation when the transmission quit working properly in our Cadillac. We tried limping home when we passed by SPX customs right at closing time. They were extremely helpful and friendly and ran a diagnostic test for me to point me in the right direction. After resetting the codes we were able to continue home to get another vehicle and continue our vacation. Their friendliness and professionalism was top notch! I highly recommend this shop.

I was stranded at PC and needed a tow to my local shop over an hour away. Another service I pay for never responded to my need for assistance. After 2 hours of waiting around, I blindly called SPx since they were local, and Nicole was extremely helpful. She gave me wonderful unbiased advice and a few options. I ended up canceling the paid membership I have, and used SPx to tow my vehicle home. They were professional, kind, and even texted me a picture of my vehicle to confirm it was delivered. My car died at the rest area on 385S. This is my primary means of transporting all our rescue pups. Nicole & her family were AMAZING to work with! They were understanding of my schedule, very fairly priced & had outstanding customer service. Had it diagnosed before I went to work overnight for 12 hours & ready by the time I woke up the next afternoon.
If you want reliable affordable, immediate roadside assistance, contact these folks!!! I found myself at dusk, alone, on the side of the highway, in an Avis Rent-A-Car requiring roadside assistance. A complete blowout tire on a Toyota Corolla I received with only 9 miles on it at the CharlestonAirport which I retained with a corporate business credit card and preferred Avis customer status. After working with and waiting on Avis to assist for hours, I leaned on my own pocketbook and contacted help myself.
I am so completely thankful that I received help on Valentine’s eve a short 45 minutes after calling the nearest business google could find.
I’m certain this gentleman that helped me has a wife and a family that would’ve loved to have spent Valentine’s dinner with him instead of helping me.
