This place and the staff are awesome! Been there twice this week and Both times couldn’t have been better. I pulled up with several batteries, scrap aluminum and a pile of regular metal. The guys there were quick to take care of everything while being polite at the same time. They even gave advice on how to get more money by breaking down certain things. Collecting the money is very easy and they explain the payout details. This is a great place for people that don’t feel comfortable dealing with scrap yards. Dons car crushing was where I always went, I had no idea Watts used parts existed. I never once liked going to Dons due to poor customer service. Watts is my new “go to” scrap yard.

this place is the biggest rip off. This place is the biggest rip off. This place is the biggest rip off. This place rips you off. They do not care, trust me on this. I know metals I’ve been doing it for a very long time. And they are ripping you off. Also the only time the $$ is close to being correct is when the lady IS NOT working. She’s always making mistakes. But after 6 times it’s not a mistake , it’s intentional. The men that work there are no better,(example - I pull in and I’m not getting any help so I walk up to the cashier window and see a younger guy in the office with the older lady, pretty sure I interrupted them because they immediately separated FAST. The guy puts all of my aluminum on the scale together instead of separating the aluminums. They are supposed to separate the aluminums for the customers benefit. The Point is , the guy was more interested in getting back in he office with her instead of doing the job correctly. The old man ( owner ), probably isn’t aware of what’s going on at his business. If he was aware of the office habits I’m sure it would stop.

Ok so, my sons have spent hundreds of dollars at this place. They have been here so many times and bought so many parts from them its crazy. The only rules are close any hoods or doors if you open them, and even if they didn’t open it they’d close it because its the right thing to do. Anyways they never said anything about the steering columns, my son unbolted and unplugged a turn signal switch for his ranger and there didn’t seem to be a problem. Then he returned it because it didn’t fit and the owner refused to let him back out in the yard, rather than ask him to put it back or tell him he couldn’t return it. People take doors and windows off vehicles and ruin the interior and thats ok for some reason. He let his friends out in the yard but not him, he was never told to not take anything off the columns. They just expect you to know the unwritten rules even though all yards are different. I can guarantee this place won’t get any sort of business out of me for as long as I live. Absolutely unbelievable and unprofessional.
