I run a mobile mechanic business. I highly suggest taking your business across the street to Waccamaw Metal Recycling the Conway location is great. Wendy is rude and they just want you to put everything into bulk because they don’t want to sort it. Said I was wasting their time even though they were filling out MY licensing information. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT
Wendy their clerk was RUDE, and had a bad attitude. They didn’t even bother sorting out our metals. Kept telling us to throw our iron block in their bulk scrap pile, very lazy, just standing around complaining about how it isn’t their job to sort things.
I was talking to lady in the office about sales my truck and that I never had a license in the past,and dude came out a cuss at me ,but I will not go back . And he talked about my deceased Grandmother . I pray this business closed . Rude ,country and ugly Please go somewhere else for respect...
Do not go here ! I mean do not waste your time this is not a friendly place for people of color. The receptionist & the owner were very disrespectful arguing with the customer. I promise you will never receive our business again . Disgusting people should be treated with respect when you enter a business !! You will not succeed your business will fail with that attitude .
Very fair on what they pay for scrap and other metal. Don't expect friendly service when they cut that check and although they are not rude they aren't real friendly either.

Great fast service and they pay better then any if the other scrap place I took 1560 pounds somewhere else and got 50 percent less then I would have at dcc
Expect to have a very long, slow wait, for any service!!I called @ 10:30 AM about a wheel, & was told they’d check & call back after giving my phone #. After waiting til 2:05PM I called back & was put on hold, til I finally hung up 20 mins later. I tried calling @ 2:30, & Amy said he was checking & would call me right back. I never heard back & will miss another day of work, to try & fix my car!!!
Great customer service! The two ladies in the office helped me to find a headlight to my 2007 Tahoe and the guy named Joe even took it out for me! I will be recommending this place to all of my friends!
Dons car crushing is a great place to go to for scrapping cars or even getting parts and buying cars they are very geneses people and honest to deal with.
Unfriendly staff and poor service. If you’re new to scrapping do not go here, you’ll have zero guidance or help, they go out of their way to make you feel uncomfortable. No help in the yard and the service window is mirrored so you can’t even see who you’re dealing with. The human behind the glass that you can’t see is rude and short. Every time I go there I feel like I just got ripped off, maybe I did, maybe I didn’t but that’s how it feels. I’ve also noticed the staff turn over is high, always different people working. There are a few scrap yards in this area, anywhere else would be better.
