OMG fifteen minute tow with unhooking my truck $743.00. I've been in trucking 22 years. I've had multiple trucks towed over the road with cheaper prices. These people are way high. Their pricing is double what it costs with other towing companies in the area. Stay away from this company. This awful company that charges outrageous pricing. Reach out to me. I can get you a copy of the invoice to show how ungodly their pricing is.
John was great. Honest and good at what he does. Highly recommend Hawkins Towing! Other towing companies said they could not pull out my truck but John did it!!
After waiting for over 7 hours on Saturday for Insurance Roadside Assistance to get my car pulled out of the ice in my driveway only to be told they weren’t going to make it I called Hawkins Towing in the Greenville,SC area.
Sunday Morning I get a call from them saying they were here near my vehicle. 15 minutes later the job had been done and they were on the way. Very nice, very professional and MORE than fair financially. They will absolutely be my first call for any towing need in the future.
Highly recommended! Excellent professional customer service all the way around! Had to get my wife's car towed at 3:45 a.m. new year's day. Called another "24-hour" towing service and call went to voicemail. Called Hawkins and the dispatch lady picked up almost immediately. She was very nice and professional and had someone on the way and I received regular text message updates throughout, which was very helpful. The driver (Mitchell) texted me within 5 mins to let me know that he was 45 mins out. When Mitchell arrived, I found out that he had to drive all the way from Easley to Greer. Most people probably wouldn't have done that. Mitchell was extremely courteous and professional! He took great care to put the car on the transport and deliver it to our house. Just a really nice guy.
I work for. company in Asheboro NC and i was coming home from a delivery in Norcross Ga.. as i was coming back my truck broke down and after numerous calls to Penske they found Hawkins Towing and they came to pick my truck up and not only did they tow my rental truck back to the shop in Asheboro NC but the driver Malcom was kind and courteous and really helpful with everything... I give these guys 10 stars and if my truck ever breaks down again anywhere i hope and pray they are the ones that come out and do the service bc they are the best
Felisha answered the phone prompt and professionally. Typically when calling tow companies, you’re leaving voicemails. But not with Hawkins Towing! She had my location pinned due to me being stranded at the top of HWY 276, quoted with reasonable price, and scheduled in less than 10 minutes. Jarrett arrived sooner than expected and he was happy to help. He had my car loaded like a Tow Wizard (yes, let’s make it a thing!) and we were on our way, almost a two hour drive to the mechanic’s shop.
The main reason for my review is Jarrett.
This young gentleman has an incredible attitude and professional disposition. He genuinely loves his job and had some incredible stories (believe me, I did the prompting ) you just need to know how to ask. I also discovered that Jarrett has a passion for training new employees and he has an unfounded amount of respect for the owner of the company. I could tell that Jarrett feels valued and appreciated at this company! I also uncovered that this towing company replaces their trucks OFTEN and he had explained reasons why. Absolutely incredible that Hawkins Towing takes all safety precautions for their employees and customers as a top priority! Thank you for the safe tow and delivery and if I am ever in need again, I have you listed as a “favorite “ in my contacts. May you and your staff be truly blessed and your business double in 2026
Had to pick up my car from them after it was towed (boring story but I made a mistake and this was the result). The staff was really friendly and polite (the owner and his wife as well as the other staff). The process was super straightforward - give them your I.D. and pay the money in cash. My car was in great condition with no damage as far as I could tell.
Did I want my car to get towed? No. Did they make the process easy and smooth? Yes! Not planning on using this particular service again if I can avoid it (lol) but if I WANT to be towed next time I will give them a call. They also have lots of cute animals on the property!
Wheel alignment on some new tires for my dually. Nice, honest guys. Think we’ll start bringing the truck here to try em out for other services (oil changes, etc.)
Scott took care of us above and beyond the other night. Was there to tow only a couple minutes after I got there to pick my son up. Assured us the issue we were having was very common and told us he’d meet us at the destination. Was excellent in maneuvering the truck around our driveway. He was very friendly especially given that it was late at night. Would 100% recommend.
I’ve used Hawkins towing before and had a great experience. But the reason I am leaving a review is the amazing experience I just had with David from Hawkins Towing. My truck was broken down at a QT and David pulled up to get a coffee. My friend and I were trying to change a water pump in the parking lot and a bolt on the pump was locked up. David was incredibly kind and helped us by using his big hammer and the vice on the truck and helped us get the part unlocked. Incredibly grateful to him and it just made me want to say how I appreciate the kind people Hawkins Towing hires.
Shout out to the tow driver Josh!! On 9/1/2025 (labor day by the way) this man came out with a replacement truck for my broken down truck and he didn’t hesitate to help me cross load my load into the new truck. It was about a 3,000lb load, 130 bags of shoes that he helped me cross load into the new truck. I was shocked when he hopped up in the truck and started helping me, I never had a tow driver do this for me before. He was absolutely phenomenal. No complaints, great attitude, very nice man. Absolutely sublime. Give this man a raise. Bless your heart Josh and thanks again! Best tow service I’ve ever received, hands down.
We had a flat coming through town off of vacation. We called Hawkins towing who was referred to us by discount tire and we got a young man named Colby and he was the most professional and kind young man. I have met in a long time. He was efficient. He was nice and he delivered our car to the Tire place without any incident. Would strongly recommend them they were super fast! Thank you so much!
The staff, including the driver, are nice. They towed my car on a flatbed and delivered it without any damage to the car. The only problem I had was that they weren't honest about the time it would take. I was repeatedly told that the driver is a couple minutes away. It took over three hours for the driver to arrive. It made me feel like they were choosing to tow everyone else before they got around to me.
They were super fast! Came in like 10 mins. Just had a car accident. They were in and out super fast! Eugene was so nice! He let me ride to the collision center. The inside of his truck was very clean and nice. Great conversation! Def an asset to their business!
Absolutely the worse company around. If these crooks tow your car you can guarantee they will do everything they can so you can't get it back trust me and even try to keep whatever personal property you have in it as well. That's why they ended up wirh a car with keyless entry without a key cause I kept it and also the air bags being deployed with the seat belts locked. Sucks when you thought you would make thousands off my car. Maybe yall should learn to not try and take advantage of people first off and second not refused me from picking my car up the next day after it was towed during the night prior. Just wanted everyone to know how this place really is thanks.

Ted did an awesome job with my son's truck. Taking pride in your work is almost a lost trait. Ted went above and beyond and cause ZERO damage and had alot of patients even dealing with me which is very hard to do.
I was driving on the highway going to work and one of their drivers had over 30 large rocks on the back of their open bed for some strange reason two of the rocks flew off, hit my windshield and cracked it then when I call the owner, he doesn’t want to take any responsibility, even though I have Picture evidence Of the driver and the rocks on his truck Justice is coming to you buddy just wait I got something for you

DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! The managers of this company lack integrity and care more about a few extra bucks than running a dependable and honest business. They left me in tears today after ruining thousands of dollars of antique bricks, damaging my yard, and STEALING half of my delivery.
They agreed to deliver 5 pallets of prized brick to my home for a price I prepaid for. They called ready to deliver a day early so I hurried with my 4 little kids across town. After dumping and destroying 2 pallets because they didn't bring the proper equipment (forklift) , they called a guy with a tow truck to come and help, ruining a 3rd pallet.
The manager was irritated it was taking them so long and told them to demand I pay $275 more or they wouldn't unload the other bricks. I was insistent that I paid what we agreed on for the delivery, and that they should be the ones paying me for all the damage done.
They drove off with my 5k worth of brick pallets - they're holding them hostage until I pay them more.
They never should have accepted the job or loaded the truck knowing they couldn't unload. The delivery guys did their best but received zero support from management who put them in a very difficult position.
Had a flat tire in our Tesla model 3 called Tesla roadside and they dispatched Keith with Hawkins towing, keith was punctual, knowledgeable, and very kind… we got the car loaded up, transported and unloaded without any issues! Highly recommend Keith with Hawkins towing!
Our 34' Class A motor home broke down and Good Sam lead us to Hawkins Towing. They drove over an hour to pick us up in the mountains and then towed our motor home over an hour to a diesel repair facility in Spartanburg. The diesel pusher motor home required quite a bit of prep work to ready for towing. Taylor was amazing! He knew exactly what to do and had every tool to do it. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend!
