I needed an enormous shed moved from a really tight residential spot to my new place and let me tell you that Ruth looked like she could have done it in her sleep! Weekend price gouging. A $125 dollar tow became $185. I inquired about a non emergent tow on Friday and was told that they could not do it until Sat. I was told I would get a quote when I texted details I texted within minutes of the conversation and heard nothing until this morning. I was then quoted $60 dollars over the tow rate. I had no options for someone else to tow the vehicle because it was Sat. When I commented on the exorbitant rate I was told "o have you a quote yesterday. It's the weekend". I reminded them they did not I never got a response after sending the addresses. I will not use this service again due to false expectations. I have had enough tows to know the rates the most I've ever been charged was 155 on a weekend.
They will over charge you and tow vehicles off of private property with no paperwork then when months go pass they will get paper work on the car to own the car themselves and then say u can’t get the items off the truck please don’t book them and they only give Caucasian people discounts due this company

I’ve never had such a pleasant experience with towing companies. From the first phone call, he was the ONLY one to pick up out of 8 companies over the course of three days. He was happy for the business and took great care of my vehicle until it got to the dealership.

Squirrel Towing was called out to the location of where my car was hit to tow a different vehicle. AAA had just sent me a text saying they were 2 hours from being able to get to me so I asked the driver if he could help me and he said to leave the keys and he would take it from there. A true life saver I wouldn’t hesitate to call them in the future!
Very nice, helpful, and professional. Gave me a time window to be ready for towing and were spot on. Kindly helped me get the car down a steep driveway for no extra charge. The gentleman who came was super nice. Though I don't hope to need a tow truck again, I'd definitely pick Squirrel Towing if I need one in the future.

Next thing you know I’m receiving a much needed referral for Squirrel Towing. Hmm; Squirrel huh? Sounded interesting and comforting to hear that Squirrel was Ruth.
One of the best referrals I have ever received. Ruth (Squirrel Towing) made my stressful unpleasant experience much more tolerable. These folks truly want to help and do so with an incredibly positive attitude and great rates as opposed to acting as though they are doing you a favor. Even during this busy time frame, Ruth went out of her way to help me by going beyond just an impersonal tow, rather she rescued me.
There’s really no need to shop rates because you’ll be wasting time rather than being assisted. This experience taught me towing services are certainly Not all the same.

I can always count on Squirell towing and whoever sends out to me. They’ve always made sure that I am well taken care of. I’ve used them for multiple tow jobs, and they always comes through. The drivers are good at what they do too. I know that when I’m in a tight spot, they will take care of me. What can I say. They are Exceptional! My situation involved an impossible task made possible by Ruth at Pruitt-Hodges Towing. We sold our house and had to move a large playhouse that my Dad had built for my daughter when she was very young. My Dad has since passed away and my daughter really wanted to take the playhouse with us. I had called other moving companies that specialize in removing small buildings. They would not touch it due to a steep hill( wasn't that steep to me) they would have to transverse. I called Pruitt-Hodges Towing and Ruth said she could take a look at it in 30 minutes. She arrived on time and after hearing my story she said some how some way I WILL get it moved for you. Next day she arrived and brought another tow driver (Ty with Dacus Towing) in to help. It took 6 hours to do it but they moved it and set the playhouse up on blocks at the new location. They were pleasant and professional. Friendly and great to work with!! Great Price.
