Several times this summer, I have purchased a few odds and ends for replacement in my family’s cars, such as large and small windshield sunshades, and a cabin air filter. Every time, I have ordered online for pickup at this store, and the staff could not be nicer when I arrive. Most recently, John W., assisted me for speedy, kind checkout. This auto-parts chain has been a great, consistent source for various, small DIY needs in the past 20 years, and the Mauldin store only reaffirms the correct choice I’ve made for the best service. Keep on rolling!

Gary just saved the day for me after O’Reilly Auto Parts would not install a new battery. There was nothing per Gary that would prohibit him from putting in my new battery that I purchased at Advance. So helpful and pleasant in spite of the 92 degree temperature. Thank you

I had a great experience at Advance Auto Parts during my recent visit. I stopped in because my car battery was giving me trouble, and the team there took care of it quickly and professionally. The service was fast my battery was changed in no time and the staff made sure everything was working perfectly before I left. A big shoutout to the manager, John, who personally made sure everything went smoothly. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process stress free. It’s not every day you get that level of customer service, and I left feeling confident and completely taken care of with the visit. Definitely recommend this location for anyone needing car parts or quick, reliable help.

Grabbed my item then waited at the registers for atleast 10 minutes nobody came out or helped. I put my item back and went to autozone across the street.

I’ve been to many Advance Auto Parts locations, but I regret coming to this one. The staff member who helped me had a terrible attitude—he didn’t seem eager to sell, made faces when I asked for a wiper replacement, and acted like it was a hassle. On top of that, he wanted to keep the old parts and looked annoyed when I asked for them back. Very rude and unprofessional experience. I won’t be returning to this location.

Twice 2 different techs COULD have sold me on a new battery. Instead, they were helpful and knowledgeable. Turns out it was a power drain from the radio

Two incredibly kind gentleman (unless they identify otherwise) helped me obtain and install a new battery. They were empathetic, patient and helped me find some coupons to offset the cost. Thank you for making a stressful situation a lot easier on me, you both deserve a raise ?

Closest to the house by a stone's throw lol... never tried O'Reilly's lol... I know I settled between Advance and AutoZone because at one point Advance was cheaper! I don't know if that's the same now but... Advance always seem to come up with better quality, cheaper and faster than any other stores... I was on a road trip passing through SC today and the rain was absolutely killing my new-used BMW. The wiper blades that were on it must have been old as they would "scrape" along the windshield. I couldn't take it anymore. I randomly chose Advance Auto as I was passing through. Allison couldn't have been friendlier or more professional. She even helped me install the new blades in the rain. I'm glad she was there--I've never put blades on a BMW before. Thanks so much!

We needed a gas cap.. . Called the store, they only had one that would fit our car, so they held it for us. Great customer service. I should add that we were ready to leave on vacation and thought we would have to postpone our trip. Thank you for saving the day.

My AC went out this morning and I am 6 months pregnant with an 8 month old in the car with me too. My husband is out of town, and Jason helped me out so much to isolate the problem this morning. He helped recharge my AC and explained everything. I appreciate that SO much. You do not get people to help you like that usually. Thank you, Jason!!

Very nice. They were very busy but were very kind and helpful to all the customers. They went as fast as they could and helped us with our battery. Great customer service.

The clerk who helped us was awesome & had great suggestions. Enjoyed talking with him & another employee about how science fiction of past eras is today & tomorrow's science.

The staff at Advanced Auto in Mauldin is beyond helpful! They installed my battery in less than 10 minutes, and had no issues with the product, installment and cooperation from the knowledgeable staff. I’m very pleased with their service and will definitely return for any of my future auto needs!

3 times I've ordered parts and told next day by 11am. All 3 times they have failed. This time even took an additional 20 min of standing there to get my money back. They wanted me to stand there and wait while a driver went to another store to check for the items. Won't be using them again, we'll stick with O'Reilly auto.

This was a great experience the best I've ever had at any auto parts store the gentleman behind the counter (Daniel M.) was knowledgeable and helpful I will be back to this particular store just because of him. Thank you Daniel for the great experience.

Winston W. was an amazing help! I stopped in for some windshield wipers and Winston went through and explained why the windshield wipers we chose were a great quality and they were also on sale! He was also kind enough to install them for us ?

Terrific and knowledgeable service. They are always very accommodating when you request that they perform a service check, change out bulbs, install new wiper blades and the like.

Won't set foot in any Advance Auto Parts store again. Getting spammed through email addresses that were set up exclusively for their use. Instead of being helpful in the store, they only got defensive and argumentative. So I walked out. They make it almost impossible to change your email address online, they don't know what they're talking about in the store, so I just deleted the email accounts and will never do business with that chain again.

Pathetic customer service, store is shoddy, staff is generally rude and parts are extremely expensive. Most special order parts are double or triple online pricing and they get them in slower than it would be for you to just stay home, drink a beer and order from your couch. For reference see Moog Tie Rod End pricing at rock @uto and then call advance for their price... yup. Triple markup. Combine that with not honoring their lifetime warranty on parts and you know this mechanic never will step foot in there again. AVOID.
