If I could do a no star because this picture part just crapped me out of $74 and some change because I didn’t have a receipt where I bought it but they know they’re writings. I’m never ever going to recommend you come to this place.

My go to salvage yard. Get the app to inform you when vehicles are put in the yard

Sold two cars to them, had to come by on my lunch. They we're on lunch and still helped me out. Great place to do business.

The prices are pretty high, but the worst part is the way they treat you. When you’re leaving, the guy at the exit checks your things like you’re a thief. In my case, I wanted to leave with my toolbox and he didn’t even let me show it myself. The guy wanted to put his hands in it, open it, and turn it over, messing everything up, without letting me show him anything.
That’s disrespectful. I understand they have controls, but not like that— not with that attitude or touching your personal belongings.
I won’t be coming back here to look for parts anymore. There’s another place just four miles away with lower prices.Jan 18, 2026 -
Useful for finding cheap parts. But it's also a gamble; remember others are looking for parts just as you are, so what you're looking for might not be available.

This place has really gone down hill recently. 1) the yard is terribly maintained. It needs new gravel all around and someone needs to take the time to clean up the crazy number of parts just scattered on the ground everywhere. 2) the prices are becoming absurd. I can get new parts off RockAuto for what they're asking these days. 3) they don't let you buy just ABS computers, they make you buy the whole valve assembly. I can go to the Pull-a-Part in in Atlanta or Columbia and get just the computer for a fifth the price they want the whole assembly here. 4) they got rid of the lifetime warranty option on their batteries
Don't get me wrong, this place has never been great but since they got bought out by private equity they've become noticeably stingier and the overall quality and upkeep of the yard has gone way downhill.Jan 10, 2026 -
I recently purchased an electric power steering pump that came as a single, integrated unit with the reservoir attached. Even though they are built together and intended to be one assembly, I was charged a core fee for the electric power steering pump AND an additional separate reservoir fee.

Big big big place be prepared to walk to find your part but the staff was very nice and friendly.

Buy brand new for same price on Amazon or ebay for example for example$45 for a brake caliper when I get a pair of brake calipers for $78 brand new and I don't have to pull the part
Dec 25, 2025 -
They don't group by manufacturer anymore. Stop at the desk and ask for what you are looking for as they are spread all over the yard and unless you want to walk the whole yard ask first.

Whoever the lady was working the front counter checking people in on Saturday(12/20/25) was great she was very helpful and had a pleasant attitude.

This cash grab "store" could be decent but the "manager" sells car parts on the side and pockets the cash for herself then over charges customers to make up the difference she has ZERO skills of any kind.....no kids allowed in yard but allows hers anywhere they want they make up prices and pull fees and are GARBAGE at pulling the parts for you they charge you MORE for their lack of mechanical knowledge and destroy parts to get the specific part you need making it harder for other customers to get what they need also if you get charged for "extras" that they make you remove they just throw them away in the back it hardly ever makes it back to the yard for someone else to purchase. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO PRETTY MUCH ANYWHERE ELSE JUST NO LKQ. THE OWNER(S) AND MANAGERS DO NOT CARE THEY ARE PERFECTLY HAPPY RUNNING LIKE THIS buy cars for $500-$800 then sell the engine out of it in ANY condition for 700 then trans alone for 500 not including ALL the other parts it's a big scam and your better off getting parts online

People usually go to junkyards because used parts are supposed to be cheaper. But that’s not the case with this place. They sell the parts as if they were brand new, and the prices are extremely high. On top of that, they even add extra fees on the invoices, something other places don’t do.
If you’re looking for affordable parts, don’t come here. I really don’t recommend this place. It’s way too expensive. To give you an idea, I bought a front hood for a car and it cost me almost $200. It just doesn’t make sense.Oct 07, 2025 -
Drove all the way from Waynesville NC to get part for my truck had my 7year old son with me and couldn't bring him in which was really upsetting to him and also couldn't pull part because I can't pull parts and watch him from the parking lot. 16 and older policy is garbage. Losing a lot of money on this deal because most people have children who also like to learn by pulling parts. Won't be returning.

Horrible Experience at LKQ Greer (SC)
I came at noon and spent almost half the day (4–5 hours!) pulling tires with rims. About 25 minutes before closing, I went to the counter and asked for the $5 tire dismount service — they refused. I even asked to buy the tires together with the rims — still refused.
Meanwhile, 5–10 customers behind me were still being served and buying parts until closing time. I have photo and video proof of this selective and biased treatment.
As a result, I wasted half a day, lost around $200, and spent Labor Day on their dirty yard instead of with my family. I came for the 50% off sale — but ended up with no parts, no discount, just wasted time and money.
I consider this treatment humiliating. I will be filing complaints with BBB, state and federal agencies to request full inspections of this location, and I will take this to small claims court to recover my losses.
It would have been cheaper and faster to just buy new tires at a store than waste time on this junk. This place selectively sells parts and treats customers unfairly — I do NOT recommend it to anyone.Sep 01, 2025 -
The way I was treated today by the manager or whatever her position is makes the place receive a one star and that is being generous. I was treated and yelled at twice today by the manager Angelica Alexander, she lacks customer service skills, people skills or any kind of respect for a customer.

Prices are absolutely insane. $38.08 for a solenoid, that's $37 brand new. $349.99 for a trans valve body thats $150-275 remanufactured.
Not to mention the lot's a mess, difficult to navigate, and hardly ever have anything you're looking for.Aug 21, 2025 -
Rode all the way from lexington to get some wheel since there app showed they where still on the car got there and they where took off and not in the back for sale all the lkq I went to the app was updated when stuff got bought off the vehicles

Customer service and product availability are great. Be prepared to walk a fair amount depending on where the part you need is located on their lot.

Hello, upstate South Carolina! My Memorial Day weekend was pretty darn great.... 50% off parts and free hotdogs! We went to the LKQ in Greer, South Carolina, on Friday and Monday(today) for their 50% off Memorial Day Sale Event. Good food, service, and deals! Me, Lynda, and Dorian wore this place out! Thank you to all who made our visit to this location well worth it! Special thanks to the guys and girls out at the hotdog area and also to Jaylen, who checked us out at the register both days! Thanks, LKQ of Greer, South Carilina!

LKQ bought my junk car and gave me a fair price, given the condition of the car. They towed the car to the lot themselves.
Great option if you have a car you need to get rid of!
Quick, easy, check-in-hand. Would definitely recommend.Apr 18, 2025 -
I originally left five stars ~3 years ago, but no actual review. My work relocated me a few weeks back, and the Greer location is super close, so I went yesterday when I finished for the week.
Both the person who checked me in and the person who checked me out were personable. I feel like I got a really great value - sun visor, parking brake handle, one coil pack for 50-something after tax. I deliberately broke the rule of not working on cars in the parking lot and installed the sun visor before leaving and I am not sorry.
I'll be back!Apr 12, 2025 -
LKQ Greer used to be good. Besides the prices going up, they now find new ways to screw you over. It starts with the pictures they take for the online account not representing what a vehicle has when it actually becomes available for parts purchases. They remove key valuable items, such as radio/navigation, brake controllers, hybrid batteries, etc. before it becomes available, again unlike the pictures. Also the employees are so lazy they take a picture of the sky as one of the vehicle pictures (probably to meet a minimum picture quota for each vehicle) which is a great indication of what you get here.
My latest experience was purchasing over $600 of body parts. They nickel and dime you on everything so just expect that. If they don't know what a part is, or if it's not specifically in their system, they will charge you for a more expensive part. For example there is a metal bracket for the bumper cover I just purchased. They didn't have anything specific for that so they charged me for a radiator core support. They should have just charged me for a miscellaneous bracket, and I pointed this out to them, but they wouldn't budge because the radiator core support was "the closest thing." The vehicle doesn't have a removable core support.
Most infuriating, was that I went to take back my core parts, which included a hood, trunk deck lid and the "radiator core support." It doesn't say anywhere on the receipt, but apparently you have to return your core parts within 30 days of your purchase. I'm 13 days past 30 days and they would not give me anything for my cores, Even though I've just spent $600 and have spent a lot more than that over the years.
For a place that charges you entry admission, mediocre part prices that you pull yourself and has super lazy workers, I'll be shopping at every other junk yard before coming back to LKQ.Aug 31, 2024 -
