First off, contrary to what Google says, they do not accept old paint, period. Other than paint, I have brought everything under the sun there and dropped it off no problem. A frequent customer, I have built a relationship with the employees there, most often dropping off something that they can use, which is appreciated and in turn I have the run of the place. That’s life, learn it or keep complaining…
Great place to take your recyclables for free! Most resorts & rbo's do not provide recycling in this area. So, do the responsible thing and bring it here.
We recently moved here and were surprised to see there is no curbside recycling. While researching where to take our moving boxes a neighbor recommended this center to us.
It’s so great. From our overflow garbage to bulky waste to recycling this place takes it all.
Glass, metal, paper, corrugate, grocery bags, textiles … more.
And the employee was so helpful explaining what they take, what goes where and their hours.
It’s very close to us and we now sort at home and drop off regularly.

Told me only 8x5 trailer which is 40 square feet but a 10x4 trailer which is 40 square feet is too big and wasn't near 3 foot high but have been going there for years. I had one person before asked about trailer and when told it was 10x4 he said it was fine I guess he could do math.
It is convenient and accepts almost anything. My only complaint is the containers for yard waste and other trash are too high to reach for the average person.
Just came back from the recycling center and was approached by a man who worked there and asked me if this was my third time. I said no it was my second. I have been doing yard work and had some yard trash. He told me I can only come twice a day, I told him that was good because that this was the last time today. I don’t even use this place but decided to do some gardening in my yard. Then the man told me he didn’t like the way I said it and I had to leave. I was not rude in fact another lady that is familiar with this place said that he is a mean man. I pay his salary and I did not see a sign that states you can only go once a day. He needs to be reprimanded for his behavior. I tried calling to report him but no one answered the phone.
Every time I go here it is drama about one thing or another. One time they want you to put odd items like electronics or recycling in one place, then give grief the next time and tell you it goes somewhere else. The employees seem to be riding a power trip of self importance.
A little bit hard to find and not real user-friendly as far as how it's laid out and where you can park to unload things. But maybe since it was raining I just felt like it was more difficult.
The pull up spots are typically clear of any debris and the people working are always doing something to keep the place looking clean and being a safe environment.
We moved here spring of 2022 and I have been coming weekly to recycle and toss my junk.

I was at the center today at 3:10pm. Had a horrible experience. I was both intimidated and called a liar by an employee at the compost compactor. Been coming here for six years. Never been treated so rudely. Sad.
Denise was terrific. She explained all the different sorting bins and what is acceptable to bring to the Recycling Center. I am thrilled to see so many people recycling and wearing their masks.

The new houshold garbage compacter is a real problem.
It appears to need far more employee control and has to be "closed"
and run far more frequently than the previous one. When I was there today the line of cars was out the gate and onto the street. Not a good situation. Clear safety hazards exist when autos are lined out on the street.
