Semi truck broke down . Sheppard's came out in a timely fashion . Quick look and secured me and was able to take me to the dealership. Fair rate , excellent service. Even had enough room for the trailer.

I was rear ended on June 27th on the way to Myrtle Beach from Columbia, SC, with my son. We were in Florence, SC, a town where I was a Pharma Rep for 11 years. Geico could not find a car rental because they fold up the sidewalks at 12:00 noon and we were hit around 2:50 p.m. HP said it needs to be towed. No rental, my wife had to return from Myrtle Beach to pick us up. That is another story! I hope this is right, Shoemake Taylor arrived, very pleasant and proceeded to tell us he would drive us to the Airport to get a rental. Airport rentals CLOSED. Geico cannot use airport companies due to policy. The reason was, "they are reserved for passengers"! How many people are flying, especially in Florence, SC, these days, 6,8,9, and how could their inventory be depleted in any way. Mr. Taylor took us back to the wrecker company and waited for 1.5 hours while we waited for my wife to return form MB to pick us up and transfer my guitars and luggage to our other vehicle. I am a guitarist and he is a Saxaphone player. The time went buy fast. A BIG THANK YOU TO SHEPPARD'S WRECKER SERVICE AND THEIR STAFF FOR MAKING A REALLY BAD DAY TOLERABLE. Five ***** for exceptional service.
Great service 2 separate tows one on a Sunday the other the following morning. Sheppards technician - Jordan - was professional, competent, timely and polite. Outstanding wrecker service sliding my tractor out from underneath my trailer and taking me to Triple-T Freightliner.
Never have I experienced such poor service. I needed to have a trailer towed to a delivery 100 miles away. I called after hours dispatching service and was connected to Albert. He said he would do it, and he'll let me know when he got to the trailer. I spoke to him at 8:30, he called me at 9:30 and said he needed to speak to the broker or receiver to verify he could just drop the trailer before he would begin the tow. I told him who to call, they didn't answer and he called me back and I said try again because they weren't expecting the phone call. He didn''t even try again. the broker called him back TWO minutes after the call was missed. We kept trying to reach him for an hour before calling the Tow dispatcher again who said he took another tow job. I was in CONSTANT contact with before he decided to drop this tow. He just stopped answering our calls, never told us he was ABANDONING our job. Mind you, it is now 11pm and I need to find a new tow. Unbelievably bad service, no decency to call, and he saw us calling at least 10 times.
Charged $440 to put a spring on my trailer axle and they put it on wrong. It was clearly an accident on the techs side which happens but the owner would not even return my call when I sent him pics. Giving three stars because they did come out to the road to fix my trailer and the tech made an honest mistake. Its the owner that should of made good on it but wouldn’t even return my call.
I bent the axle on my Packed 7x16 cargo trailer and was stranded. They put the trailer on a heavy lift flat bed so I didn't have to unload everything (which would have been a disaster). They repaired it loaded (as good as new), and the bill was reasonable for parts and labor. It was Life saving.. I don't know if all their employees are as good, but Doug, and his son Doug Jr, are Stars!!! I made it to Florida, and back home to NJ because of them...
My husband had his truck repaired there and the prices were very fair. The office staff were very friendly mechanics were very knowledgeable staff was very helpful and kept us informed on every aspect. Would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again 5 stars is not enough of a rate they are definitely a 10.
Sheppards is truly a one stop shop. My Ford E350 box body got hit hard in the left front while parked and it bent the frame by about 1 and 3/4 inches. It even pulled the cab away from the box and left a 1 inch crack on the top and side. All the frame shops I took it to said they could not handle it till I found Sheppards in Florence SC. They not only trued it perfectly straight in no time and realigned the front end and they did it in record time. The people were friendly and polite plus they were open to any questions you might have of the process. I see an old negative review from a guy with a Motorhome but I can tell you I found them to be the total opposite, quick, reasonable and friendly.
My truck has never driven this good.
