I came in at 10:30 am on Saturday with a punctured tire and they were all booked for the day as I expected. But they called another Blacks Tire location in Florence for me and were able to squeeze me in immediately. Was in and out in 30 min. Highly recommend as usual!
When I arrived on a Friday I was greeted by Abby she was very professional and understanding. After listening to my concerns pertaining to my vehicle driving roughly she reassured me they would do there best to find the issue. The following Monday the issues were discovered and by Tuesday morning my vehicle was ready and running smoothly. My experience with Black's Tire was 10/10.

My experience was great with Black's tire on w.palmetto, I went to have my tires rotated expecting to pay but afterwards was told there was no fee because of an earlier purchase. I was very pleased.
My daughter-in-law had her Scion XA aligned and all four tires balanced on 10-29-2025. Then on January 7 she brought it to me to have front pads and rotors replaced. When I tried to take the first lug nut off, I found that it would not break loose. So I grabbed my digital torque wrench to give more leverage and show the necessary torque required to remove the nut. That one took 240 ft lbs to break loose. The other three were equally over torqued. All were over 200 ft lbs. The factory recommended setting is 90. Then on the other side, the second nut I tried rung off with 1/2 inch of thread on the end. Meaning it was cross threaded when it was put on by your tech. The rear wheels were equally over torqued. This is the second time I've had this happen. Store 23 and 26. I went back to 23 and spoke with Rodger. He replaced the broken stud and retorqued all the bolts. So five stars for him and no stars for anyone from 10/29. I've spoken to Michael Colbreath on multiple occasions and he says that the tech's don't care. They have torque sticks and torque wrenches, they're just too lazy to use them and management is not spot checking to make sure it's being done properly. What if my daughter-in-law had a flat on a road at night? There's no way in hell she would have been able to put her spare on. Policies are useless if there is no oversight.
I dropped by the morning of New Year’s Eve with my skid plate dragging on the ground. They not only took care of that but also checked my tire pressures while they were at it. All of my tire pressures were low and one was down to only 7 psi. The kicker is I had just had my oil changed at a different shop the week prior and they had reported good tire pressures. I drive an hour to and from work and they really saved me a bad trip. Thanks so much for going above and beyond!
We are from Maryland visisting SC for the first time. Got a nail in the rear passenger tire and was panicked as we were just half way through. Found this BTS (yes, BTS for auto :)) ) and was more than happy with their service. We got in and out for less than an hour. The tire was patched nicely with a very reasonable price and absolutely no upsale was offered, which was very rare in this business. We feel that they are honest, care about customers, and know what they are doing. They saved my day.
My brakes were squealing sometimes so I asked them to look at them because I am on the road alone a lot and need my van to be dependable. They said I needed new front brakes and it would be over $800. I don't have that much money right now so I paid them $21 and left. Today I went to my usual tire place hoping it would be cheaper. They checked and said my brake pads were only half worn and to check them in another 3 months. The squealing is probably from dust or something and nothing to worry about since it doesn't do it all the time.
Stopped by to get a leaking tire looked at. I was seen right away and the tire was quickly patched at a very reasonable price. Great customer service - my wife and I take our vehicles to Black’s!
I had a screw in my tire and had them fix it as well as an oil change and a tire rotation they did everything but the only thing they didn't do was put the proper air back in my tires when they'd rotate the tires so because of that I have high pressure up front and low pressure in the rear
Best experience in a long time with a repair center. Abby greeted me at soon as I walked in, as I had called the day before and made an appointment, and told me the tech was ready to start on my vehicle.
I had front and rear brakes done, as well as a new battery. While that amount of work should take some time to complete, the wait was much shorter than I expected. Abby checked on me and kept me informed of the progress.
My vehicle drives like new! No more sluggish brakes or shimmy when slowing down.
I was quoted a high price for diagnostic for engine light, when I showed disinterest, I was offered a gasoline additive. The gentleman put it in for me and the engine light went out as soon as I started the car.

Blacks Tire on Irby had taken care of my tires and alignments so I called and was directed to this location for diagnostics and repair. I was a bit apprehensive as my V10 had never had any serious work done.
The V10 was Diagnosed with a bad coil on cylinder 7, I asked to replace all coil packs and replace the serpentine belt. Even though I did not think to ask, Blacks also changed the spark plugs. Nice, thank you. Abby called soon after I arrived home, informing me of the problem and cost. The cost was within reason work proceeded. The work was finished as promised. The shop had staged the RV to aid in exiting the parking lot. This was a nice touch. It shows Blacks is thinking of the customer. My experience with this location was great. Questions asked and answered with a friendly smile. Thank you Blacks for getting my RV running smooth for our next adventure.
Came here after getting stuck in a mud hole, needed an new tire and they had the size and model in stock, it was close to the end of the day I feel the staff went above and beyond to get me back on the road, I would recommend this place to anyone, customer service was top notch, thank you
Awesome place! Jess went out of his way to help me with a problem I had. My tire blew on my RV. Lug nuts were seized up and they were able to torch it off and get me back on the road very fast. Very pleased with their service.
I received an appointment date. We took it by a day early and they worked on it that day. The service was very prompt. I will continue to use Black's Tire & Auto Service on East Palmetto St.for my Auto care needs.
Not good. The put 2 tires on. Call for 30 psi. Got home and checked them. 1 had 45 1 had 55 psi. How that work. Probably off balance when I let air out to 30 psi. Quite stupid
Was really great service and sold me tires after 5 min after they closed then put them on cause I had no room in my car to put 4 tires and I was just passing threw coming from another state and I really appreciate it blessings thanks so much
I was able to get everything I needed done for my car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The young man Justin that helped me was very knowledgeable and kind. He definitely took the anxiety out of the process. And it was all done in a very timely manner . I would 100% recommend Black’s Tires .
We had an unexpected flat on our way home from vacation. We were originally going to go to the Firestone shop in Florence, since they were the only ones who had our size. By chance we saw this shop first and decided to check it out. The lady at the desk was extremely helpful. When we weren't sure about the price of the tire, she called the surrounding shops to see if she could find a better price for us. But it turned out they did have the best price. Not only that, but they got us back on the road in 30 minutes. The shop, the bathrooms, and the waiting room were all VERY clean. Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks guys!
Dee is the man! 4 brand new tires, got me in and out in less than an hour. The girl at the front desk was super friendly and answered all of my questions with no hesitation! Only real complaint was the price. But hell, what do you expect? Gotta include the mount and balance plus labor. If you need tires, come to this location!
Cut a tire on the camper and we were 3 miles away. Staff was very kind and helpful. Said they had the tire and could mount and balance it. We only had about a 40 minute wait but it was obvious they were busy. Abby was great. We had the new tire on in no time at all and could continue our weekend trip. Thanks so much!
