Best place to get your vehicle serviced. Very knowledgeable and transparent pricing. Will not "throw parts" at the problem and really wants to fix the vehicle the right away. Martha is such a sweet heart! Best place in Florence to get your vehicle serviced or repaired.
They got me in to fix my car within 24 hours and gave me an accurate time of when it would be ready and they actually fixed it! they did a great job and it didn't break me. i will definitely be using them again thank you so much birds automotive for taking care of me and my car
I want to thank Richard, Martha, and their team for correctly diagnosing my Suburban and saving me over $12,000 over a previous diagnosis at a local automotive dealership. I highly recommend them and will not take my vehicles no where else in the Florence area!!!!
I placed a call to see if I could get a rough estimate, never got a callback to say, we would need to see the problem to give an idea. No callback at all, so strike them off the list. Deciding to go to a car dealer.
This place is thorough and really cares about their Customer Automotive needs. I especially love how it didn't take long for them to inform me of what was needed. I will be using them to take care of my vehicle going forward .

Birds automotive treats everyone like family. We have been very pleased with the work they have done on our cars. They are fair in their pricing and always tell us up front the estimate of what the job may cost. Never any surprises. They tell us the cost before they do the repair or services. We have been customers at Bird's Automotive for 6 years. We have also sent our sons to Bird's for all their car repairs. We trust Richard to do the service or repair right. We have always been very satisfied with their services and prices. Richard and Martha have always been honest with us. Richard is always thourogh with all service he provides. We are greatful to have them because they care about the customer and the service they provide.
Used to have a wonderful experience at Birds. The last 2 times I have used their services we were misquoted final bill. Were told one final price and when we go in and pay the bill it is magically more.
In addition to the switch in cost, we are overcharged for credit card fees and given a poor me story about how they made no money, how it was so hard to work on a standard production vehicle and how they would prefer not to take our work in the future.
I'd rather take my vehicles to a shop that won't belittle me for taking them more than an oil change.

In your attempt to address this truthful complaint as nonlegitimate, I will have to disagree. I have been a customer of yours now for 6 years. As recently as the week of 10/23/2022.
Work you have rejected of mine includes a supercharger install on a brand-new vehicle. An easy 10-hour payday for a top tier shop.
As far as the price of work is concerned, you and your team must have misquoted then by $300.00.
From a business standpoint, SignaPay charging you 3.5% is highway robbery. Let alone their sleezy tactic of “passing” their high cost of doing business to your customers. Authorize, Virtual Terminal and others will charge you much less of a service fee.
I had a transmission line issue traveling on 95. Was able to get it fixed enough to get it to town. I found Birds Auto. They were super pleasant to talk to and tell them my situation. Pulled vehicle in right away and checked everything to make sure it was ok and Topped off my fluids and I was back on the road timely with confidence thanks to Birds. I highly recommend them for your automotive services. Good honest people helping other people! Martha and Richard are fantastic!
We were traveling and this shop was wonderful! They looked at our vehicle when we had an emergency stop and they were able to get our repairs done same day. The work was well done and fairly priced. I wish this shop was in my home town. Fantastic service!
I've been dealing with hot ac for awhile. He fixed it for a good price and also talked with me for awhile to explain what happened and how to prevent it next time. Very nice people up there. I'm happy happy happy.
This had to be one of THE BEST experiences I've had with an automotive service. Ms. Martha and son are more than kind and professional! Ron was very thorough in explaining things that should've been done for my transmission and I'm grateful for his knowledge and expertise! I was traveling 95 when I pulled off for gas and ran into some issues with my car. I was able to limp it to his shop the next morning. He had me back on the road in about 30 minutes. It's a great friendly family ran shop
Excellent family owned and operated shop! Mrs.Martha is a doll and customer service is off the charts perfection. The find the solution and fix it as quick as possible. Their labor prices are fair. My truck just has very expensive parts. I would recommend any and everyone to go here. No job to big or small for them. Tell them Ms. Robinson sent you if you decide to check them out.
My vehicle broke down outside of Lamar about a quarter of a mile from the four-way intersection stops four-way stop sign just before you get on I-20. Got the name and number of birds Automotive from one of the people I work with who highly recommended them as they worked on her son's Tahoe in her husband's truck. I called and left a detailed message and about 10 minutes later it did get a return phone call and spoke with birds mother who runs the office. Gave her the information I have already had a tow truck on the on the way and we drop the vehicle off fill out some paperwork and they told me they'll be looking at it tomorrow and give me a call and give you a heads-up about the situation. They were prompt and professional on the phone. And I can also say for the Auto Exchange towing service Alonso he came out and put me on the tow truck was actually very helpful professional and deliver my car with no problems.
I dropped my car off to fix the driver side door. They couldn't fix it. Now I can't open the door from the inside and they can't tell me why. So now I have to take the car to another mechanic that knows what they're doing to fix this. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

STOP SEARCHING!!!!!! If you are reading this then you have found the best garage around. I have been to a million garages and NEVER found one anywhere close to this one.
I came to South Carolina from NY and purchased a car from a used dealer. I heard a scraping sound shortly there after in the front brakes. So I googled and found Birds Automotive. So I traveled over a half hour and one arrived I was pleasantly met by the owner himself Richard Bird. What respect and willingness to help me out. He got my vehicle right in by one of his ASE Certified Techs. Within a rather short period of time he came back to tell me it was a simple object I must have ran over and that there was nothing wrong, furthermore to secure my safety his skilled staff did a full inspection on my car to deem it safe. He came back again and didn’t try to sell me things my car didn’t need. He simply said everything looks good and tight. Only thing you could prolly use some oil. Man I was so happy that I wasn’t being sold a dream and asked that man to please go ahead and change that oil.
Second visit. I had an issue with my vehicle where my oil cap flew off. So I contacted the same garage and do you know I got the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Bird himself again! He encouraged me to drive this vehicle in. So I got down off the roof job I was in the middle of and drove it in. I arrive and one again the owner pleasantly meets me at the office counter. He offers to pay me back for the oil cap I had to purchase umongst said he will go through and clean everything under the hood up and even replace the serpentine belt at no cost to me if oil leaked and is causing it to slip.
PEOPLE NOW LISTEN YOU WONT FIND THIS TYPE OF SERVICE ANYWHERE AND I BEING A BUSINESS OWNER AND WORK WITH HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE I WILL NOT REFER THEM TO ANY GARAGE OF SKILLED, TALENTED, and POLITE people as this on.
