Whoever this driver this driver is. He's unhinged. Made a right hand turn from Remount Rd onto North Rhett heading towards Goose Creek from the middle lane and ran the light to do so, cuts me off and throws a cigarette butt out the window. What kind of degenerates is this place employing. 9/4/25 approx 4:05pm. Photo was at a stoplight for the haters.
They had my car impounded then proceeded to mishandle a 600 DOLLAR TRANSACTION and my car was reported stolen even though I paid for it in cash. They did not have a copy of the receipt and they are claiming they have ZERO proof I went to pay it in cash which was the preferred method of payment when I asked them before going there.
INSANELY UNPROFESSIONAL. The person handling my transaction was new to his job and that is not his fault nor is it an excuse. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.
Towed my car and dropped it off at Firestone. Would have been nice if they dropped it off at the Firestone they told me they dropped it at. Took a couple hours to track it down.
Best of the best in Charleston! Helped us out big time when we were in a pinch. You won’t find a more knowledgeable heavy wrecker operator than Adrian in the area. Highly recommend these people.
I was towed one block away and was told they only accept cash but they don’t have an atm on site. $285 later and the tow truck driver said he doesn’t have change for the $300 I was required to take out of the atm. I waited more than an hour to get my car out of the lot and called the receptionist several times to check the wait after she said “it would be a few minutes”. These people just try to drain you dry.
Edit to respond to owner who apparently replies to every bad review to say they’re lying: my review is 100% factual. Here’s some more facts about my experience: the receptionist said nothing about them being closed, she said it would be 30 mins for the tow truck driver to get there and when I called again around 45 mins later when I had been waiting at the lot, she said it would be a few minutes. Called again about 20 minutes later and she seemed very agitated and told me the driver was currently towing another car and would be 40 more minutes. So, not only did they arrive much later than they said they would, they were already going to be there and were not sent to me out of “kindness”.
I parked a car illegally on a rest area for 9 hours so they had every right to tow me. Next day i showed up to pick up the car. $625 cash only for a 10 mile tow. This is extortion by any means.
Very poor business ethics. I would NEVER recommend them. A friend had an accident sheriff call Elite Towing. They sent 2 very large trucks / way over kill. Parked 1 truck up the road it did nothing. 1 truck worked. When it was over they held his truck hostage and charge for 2 giant trucks that were not need $750.00 an hour 4 hours x 2 and we are not even sure but $4350.00 ish later. When a normal Rollback could have done the same job. It’s sad that companies can get away with this.
Only company I use for my heavy duty tows, extremely reasonably priced and usually on the spot within a reasonable time as well. The monks corner dispatcher is great too!
Update I called 3/2 for a wench out at 9am, dispatcher says it’s “after hours” they wanted $450 JUST TO HOOK then another $240 AN HOUR for travel time when I was literally 3 miles away. Absolutely absurd highway robbery.
Call holy city they are way more reasonable.
Great group of ppl. Semi def system messed up called Elite cause they was all I could find that towed semi & trailer on google. Paid 1500 to go 40 miles but service was quick & everyone was respectful & nice. Got right to me & helped make sure everything was right when I signed into Freightliner. I thank God they are around. Other than tow’s being pricey they are a good company & Mr Boo Boo the tow driver was a good man.

After being stranded on i26 headed to Georgia for 5 hours! Due to another tow companies incompetence and being paid up front. We call elite! Nicole and the driver were life savers. Super nice and charged us half of what the other pos company charged us and had me hooked up and back home to my family in no time!! We will never use anyone else!! To start, I called over 8 places in the area and not one of them went out of there way to help me. Yet Nicole, on the phone from Elite Towing, gave the most excellent customer service. Helpful, quick, and understanding. She was able to get the right towing sent to my location on time, with the right professional. So relieved and happy that I called this company! Thank you again!
These guys know what they are doing and they have the equipment to do it. They maneuvered a 40' disabled 5th wheel with no problem. Hope I never need them but if I do. I won't have to worry about it getting done.
We have been using Elite Towing for over 11 years now and are very happy with their service. The owners and staff are great people and they never leave us hanging. Very prompt on scheduling and they take care of our equipment.
Not real happy with the services I got scheduled a pick up for 7am they didnt leave untill 730 I know because I called to see what the hold up was then got to me at 830 was quoted 100 to 150 for them to do the haul got the bill of 225 a job that took no more the an hour an a half when i said I was already quoted 100 to 150 got a whole 25 dollars taken off was told took them 3 hours from 7 am till 10am but my stuff was delivered a little after 9 am and was loaded and unloaded with a fork truck probably will not use them again due to feeling like I got ripped off pretty good

He arrived very quickly and Matt made sure that everything was in order, that my truck was at the shop and that I was safe before he left. The driver was great on the other hand I was quoted 150 for an hour and when the job was done 1 mile later the guy in the office was rude disrespectful and arrogant. I will be reporting this company to BB and YouTube never use this company you'll definitely get more than you bargained for.
We pulled into a rest area in our RV last Saturday.
Elite Towing pulled up to a 18 wheeler and blocked us in. We were towing a car and can not back up. Before any work was done to hook up the Tow Truck (only the hood was open and he could have just made room for us to get out), I asked the rude tow truck driver if we could get out before he started. He told me no he was not moving and he would be an hour or more. I explained that I had to unhook my car to back up and that I am old with a really bad back. He told me that it was too bad and he didnt give a damn about me or that he blocked me in. This was the rudest behavior and most inconsiderate person ever. If he works there he should be fired and if he owns the place I will help others avoid using him. One day he will be old and have a bad back... Hope he doesnt get treated the same way USDOT1012634
Had a hiccup on a jobsite with a pretty big truck Called elite and they got a guy out to me within the hour. The first driver came and pulled the stuck truck out. Then had to call them back to come actually tow the truck. Both drivers were awesome. Did what they were called to do and did an awesome job. Cant thank them enough for helping. Would definitely recommend them and my company will be dealing with them in the future
RIDICULOUSLY PRICED! Doesn’t matter they are there for one hour or two they charge insane prices for $800+ and will wait for you to pay the bill before completely loading your vehicle so you can’t argue their price. They have no issues scamming you out of your money. Should have read reviews before calling them. BEWARE OF INSANE PRICE GOUGING!!
Got a Frieghtliner hung in a back yard, and in the pouring rain, these folks came to the rescue. The truck driver, nickname Boo Boo was nothing but professional and skilled at his job. Very efficient and professional service, and very much appreciated!
I would like to make a comment to Louis Broadwell remarks on the review. He got upset with Elite when they had no drivers that could safely travel out of town to his truck and that was about 3 years ago. He got upset over that and starting using another towing company. Elite has given him the benefit of the doubt and towed for him when his other company wont do it because it was nights and weekend. So on this call that he is complaining about on the reviews must mean that Elite finally decided to stop giving him a second chance after almost 3 years.
This is twice now that Elite Towing was going to tow in one of our trucks and did not even give us a courtesy call back to say they weren't with a driver stranded on the side of the interstate in 40 degree weather. Very unprofessional. We always pay our bills instantly upon receipt so considering Gene's message back to me was to call Timmy's Towing since we use them for wrecker service too he was obviously just being childish. These guys are the best in town. Everyone I have met from the Elite company have been very knowledgeable and take care of your equipment. I have seen smashed oil pans and ripped off front ends from the others in town, but in over 10 years, have never seen that kind of abuse from Elite.
This is the ONLY towing outfit you should do business in the Lowcountry. Period. Why? Because of their people! Yes, they've got fancy equipment and can do all sorts of neat things, but in the end, it's the people that make this company. Even when they cannot help you out, or run into a problem, they're honest and upfront with you and not afraid to apologize. In other words, they own it! From Dispatchers, to Drivers, right up to the owner, this is one solid outfit! Thanks for all you do, Elite!!!
This towing company came out to our neigborhood around 7:30-8:00 pm. The truck was running for roughly 1 1/2-2 hours makin a ton of noise ans rattling our home. At a little after 9 pm we finally went out to talk to the driver as he was still messing with the Penske truck next to our home. This driver was extremely rude and advised us that the truck would be running for hours. He could not tow the truck because our neighbors furniture needed to be moved from the one truck to the other. My husband and I let him know he couldn't make that type of noise for hours but he said he could so we called local police out. Once he finally got the truck fully hooked (after cops had already been contacted) he continued to run the truck while he bs'd at the back of the Penske truck. He finally turned the truck off less than 2 minutes before the officer arrived. We also spoke to Penske who advised that the truck could have been left for the night and Elite could have towed tomorrow during daylight hours. However, this rude driver chose not to contact Penske and report the noise complaint for options nor did he give us the facts. He could have simply told us that he was sorry but was almost done and would be able to turn the truck off in the next 20 minutes. It would have solved everyone's problems and not wasted the officer's time. Instead this driver decided to be nasty. Elite needs to do better and I sure pray this wasn't the owner like he claimed. Side note: this guy got very upset when my husband snapped a picture of his truck. Wonder why.
First time will be the last! We used this towing service to tow a tractor trailer for 12 miles, charged 700.00!!!!! Less than 2 hours of labor we were charged 3 on our bill. A truck owners worse nightmare is to have your truck broke down on the road because you know that you are going to be charged double the cost and this company definitely proved that point this evening. Was also threatened by the driver and the office staff if we didnt pay the bill they would put a lien on the truck at Peterbilt OR.....keep our equipment with the loaded privately owned vehicles that belong to our US troops that we were shipping. I believe in paying a fair price for a service and understand that after hours I would pay a hefty price.....but definitely not 700.00+ dollars. Very discouraged!
