No stars.... I called to have my car towed and the lazy girl on the phone tried to talk me out of getting my car towed because of the late hour when they're supposed to be 24hr towing. She never asked if I was in a safe place.
I'd like to take a moment to thank Gambrell's Wrecker service for their help tonight 1/1/25. . The young man that helped us was very skilled, careful on time and professional! Y'all Rock!

Very rude and problematic. Very inconvenient my experience with them was terrible. They overcharge they are confrontational and they even showed signs of racism. I wouldn’t suggest anyone use this tow company ever
The vehicle towed there after an accident. They were nice and responsive. I don't believe anyone sits at the yard, so there may be a small wait for them to come. At least, that was my experience. No hassle to get to my car and get my things. Insurance company was able to process the vehicle out from them quickly without any wait.
It was nice to have someone actually help me with my problems even though it meant cutting them out of $ . You don't find genuine purple very often these days. Thanks guys.
These people are out to HELP PEOPLE, and that's what being a good business owner as well as person is all about. They came out quickly did a great job with getting our car on the rollback and charged us a very fair amount considering it was Dec. 23rd. I would recommend them to everyone. And I thank them for a job well done!!!!
The dude was super simple and straight to the point. Got my aunts car within an hour and a half. Was super respectful and dealt with her 1000 questions with ease. Great solid people. Will use them again.
Yes I'm very upset and angry with the service I tried to receive ther I had a flat tire so I walked over to there and asked for someone I knew who worked there
he did give me a number of the other worker then walked away so I proceeded to go back in the garage and was greeted by the people are working here you need t he I was ask to leaveuunfortunately he wasn't there so I spoke to another worker who was to busy ttieing up cords with a zip tiesandthen
After having the car towed to another shop in Honea path who I told it needed an alternator they only chose to change the battery and charged me 130.00 and the light was still on in the car. I end up braking down and Grambrells towing came to tow the car and they even fixed it. Now it’s riding how it should. It’s sad that the first shop was to lazy to fix the problem and had a woman broke down on the side of the road and charged 130.00 for something the car didn’t even need. Shame on you Honea Path sales and services.
We were driving back home to Georgia from NC and ended up hitting a boat chair in the middle of the highway on Augusta Rd right outside of Greenville SC. It tore up my oil pan and oil spilled everywhere. Called several towing services nearby, and Tony with Gambrell’s Wrecker Services was the only one to respond and go get a truck. He showed up quick and got us off the side of the highway. He took my little Ford Ranger to his mechanic shop and worked on it the next morning to get us back on the road. He didn’t have the right oil pan for my truck, but he was able to patch it up to get us home, which was 3 hours away.
Super thankful for the services provided, great prices, and for Tony working on his day off (New Years Eve) just to help us out. Highly recommend!!
Pretty laid back ... Took a buddy of mine to pick up his vehicle and he had no tag. No insurance. And no license but he just paid the man and drove away. On a wkend.. Really cheap too
Got stuck pretty good in a very tricky spot. Someone stopped and told me to call Gambrells and honestly I’m very glad they did. They showed up within minutes, got my car out no problem, and it was cheap. Very nice people who know exactly what they’re doing.
The owner is awesome! Wonderful people, friendly compassionate. Always available if help is needed. I highly recommend using his services for car repair, roadside assistance, and towing services! Great family.
