Undoubtedly, this gym is the best. The instructor, Jennifer Clinkscales, was exceptional. From the commencement of the workouts to the cool-down phase, everyone made my daughter and me feel at ease and welcome. .

This is the “legit to get fit” place to go (W. Greenville location). I work out regularly but wanted a no BS place to go 1-2x a week to push the limit. Highly recommend it…staff is great; participants are friendly and enthusiastic. Add it to your routine or make it your only workout - you won’t be disappointed!

I think I’m addicted. This is a great gym full of great people. The coaches are engaging and provide the right amount of push to help you improve. I started out by going a couple of days a week but it wasn’t long before I wanted to go every day. I can go on and on about how awesome this place is. Give them a try.
I 100% recommend going to the junkyard if you are looking to get back in shape or just stay active! All coaches are willing to help give you that extra push or just be support on the days you're just there to keep your body moving. They are always willing to answer any question you have! This is an amazing gym. Be prepared to work and have coaches that hold you accountable and push the absolute best out of you. Super positive, energetic, and supportive group of people, both the members and the coaches/staff. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone.
Just started my journey at the Junkyard. The classes are tough but a good tough. My main focus is to tone up and make my body stronger. I felt so good when I left the first class with so much energy. I am now on my 3rd class and super pumped about going today. The instructors are great in helping you with your form and learning the routine.
In 2022 I became a LBKA. This has caused my balance to really decline. I contacted Jennifer & asked her if she thought The Junkyard would help. She talked to Ben & Marcus and told me they believed they could modify some of the exercises. As of this morning, I’ve completed 6 classes & I truly can’t wait to see how far I can go! Everyone is so supportive & helpful. Thank you for adapting the workouts to help me improve my quality of life. Thank you for giving me a chance!
The front desk employees are professional, friendly and helpful! They are always smiling, they are energetic, they are encouraging!
THE COACHES, they push and push you some more, they encourage you, they work so hard! You walk into the doors of the Junkyard and you can expect consistency, you can expect to work hard and you can expect to walk out feeling like you got your butt kicked but wanting to come back for more! I walked into this gym two years ago and about 50lbs heavier. I didn’t really know what to expect, I just knew I wanted to make a change, I was happy with myself and I wanted more. My previous work outs had been at the YMCA and I would just kind of go through the motions, never really saw any results. My first workout at the JY was hard, so hard I thought I might quit but then the coaches are there motivating you, pushing you, telling you that YOU CAN DO IT! And you know what? YOU CAN DO IT and do it again! This gym has built a community, one I’m proud to be apart of! If you have heard about how hard the classes are and you are thinking I’m not in shape enough, I can’t go..Or it’s too hard for me..Or I’m not a college student, I couldn’t keep up.. None of that is true, this gym is for all ages, all body types, all fitness levels. You start on your level and you work to improve yourself, you get faster, you get stronger..at your own pace! The person beside you on the treadmill might be faster than you but let that motivate you to work harder! There’s no excuse to not try one class because I promise after you go once, you’ll be coming back for more! Don’t let the fear of walking through the door stop you from trying it && if you need someone to go with, I’ll go with you!

I’ve been to other gyms and nothing compares to the Junkyard. The coaches, music, and positive environment is what makes this place work! I can honestly say that I am the most fit than I have ever been and can run faster/farther than I ever have! You will not regret stepping into the Junkyard…your life will be changed for the good!
Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been fortunate enough to have been employed at and to have trained at some amazing gyms in my lifetime and The Junkyard is at the top of that list.

My wife and I have been members for several years now and the programming has always been a fantastic balance of consistency of movement presented in a fun and challenging way that never feels stale. In addition, the fantastic team of trainers do a great job of keeping everyone safe and offering modifications to tailor the workouts for any experience level.

I started going to the Junkyard 1/1/21. It has changed my life. You will not find a better staff and coaches anywhere. The workouts push me like I never have been before. The music is always great. I started at the Junkyard 2 years ago & haven't looked back. I love this place & the people! It is like no other gym out there. The coaches are awesome & they push you because they know you can do it! They don't give up on you. This is the only exercising that I have ever stuck with this long & it is because everyday is different & you don't get bored with it. It challenges you & I love a good challenge! If you haven't tried it, you should & your first class is free. I promise you will get hooked!
I’ve always said “I’m not a class kind of gym person” (whatever that meant). But it was because I was too self conscious and too much in my comfort zone. That is until I found The Junkyard! I started a couple years ago and immediately loved it. I didn’t start going on a regular basis though until a little over a year ago and I’ve been hooked since. The coaches are excellent, amazing human beings, care about their clients, and will believe in you! The people/community of this place is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. They will make you feel like that is where you belong from the moment you walk in the door! If you want to try it out I say DO IT because you won’t regret it and you’ll be hooked!
If you’re looking for results this gym will get those for you. I’ve been a member for about 2 years . I’m in the best shape, in over 40 years. I’ve done about every kind of workout that’s been developed from a gym standpoint. The Junkyard is unique and a results getter. There are numerous success stories on their social media pages that show real results. Just show up and be willing to work they’ll take care of the results. The coaches are knowledgeable, professional, and encouraging. They want you to succeed and be successful in your fitness quest. I’ve never worked out regularly in my life, but in June my husband and I started going to the Junkyard at their Greenville, SC location and have gone every week for 3 months! Since purchasing my first package class, I feel more active all around and have noticed a difference in my strength ability and drive to make healthier decisions. My favorite instructor is Reagan, but the entire Junkyard Team is great and actually care about your experience - from the smalls things like the music to the big things like your personal goals. Better than any typical gym membership and WORTH EVERY PENNY.
The junkyard is the best place to go if you are looking for an intense workout. On my first day I was so nervous and scared but the coach Quintin Payton motivated me, helped me and pushed me a little. I love the atmosphere and the workouts (even if I do struggle with some) lol... All the coaches are great Ben, Marcus and Solomon. I promise once you walk through those doors the first time you will keep coming. Thank you The Junkyard for your professionalism, motivation, the drive and also the Fun. I’m a junky for life!
I can’t get enough of The Junkyard. The workouts are amazing and will really push you PAST your limits. I feel extremely encouraged and valuable when I come to workout, and it amazes me how hard the coaches and staff all work for their “junkies”. I completely trust them with my health/fitness journey. I’ve never been very good at making friends and The Junkyard not only wants to be your friend, but your family.
