Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. I came in with a hole on the side of my trailer. They got me patched up and sent on my way in a hurry. It’s rare to meet kind people in this trucking business. This shop is one of the few left.
Service Manager Ricky is one persistent individual. He not only did what I asked for, but he kept me informed throughout the process. He even drove 90 minutes to get a factory part to replace a previously ordered aftermarket part that failed to meet his stringent standards. Any service center/department writer can write up a laundry list. Ricky made sure the laundry was clean, dry and folded. His attention to detail, along with technician John's attention to detail, made for one very satisfied customer (not to mention the expeditious tow using my USAA benefits). I'm too old to do big jobs like Broome Service Center handled for me. I'm glad that I took the advice of the director of the Automotive/Diesel program at the Aiken County Public School District Career Center (Thanks Clyde). These folks are worth it!!! BZ!
Just an update to a previous review: Broome continues to be one of the most accommodating repair facilities that we do business with in the Southeast. They continue to go above and beyond to keep our drivers moving. Whether it is an on-site trailer repair or something that requires a mobile tech, Sherrie, Amy and the rest of their team have been tremendous help. We appreciate you!

One of the Best people I ever met in this trucking business..Thanks for your help 🙏🏾 They checked my trailer tires and saw a nail in one of them and put a air in it to take me to the next available tire repair shop for free of charge..Thanks again highly recommend for a mechanical issues..
Watch out for these criminals. Had a truck had an accident. They told me sat the bill was going to be 29500. Now on Monday it’s 36900. Not only is that an ungodly amount of money to charge honest working ppl. But they stole parts off my truck to put on there truck. There is a special place in hell for ppl like that
Great people and service. They got me in right away. I needed a handle for the landing gear on a trailer. The mechanic was very helpful. He checked out another problem and told me what was needed. The ladies in the office were very sweet and eager to help in any way they could.

Their Staff has provided the best customer service and repairs every time.
A hidden gem. My water pump went out on my truck and they came to tow me back home. One look from under the hood and the mechanic knew what was wrong and they towed it to their shop and fixed it within 3 days. I was so impressed I took my other car up there for them to repair.
Allowed me to drop my trailer for repair. The repair man and the two in the office are very friendly and professional. Had a great chat while waiting for authorization. Highly recommend this place.
We want to thank the owners & employees especially Blaine who came out Saturday to our replace our air tank due to debris that was ran over late at night. We had to get towed to their shop. They were all so professional and treated us like family. Best repair shop we have been to. They guarded us on I20 until their tow truck arrived. Thank you also to the tow truck driver, the office Manger who took us to the hotel and picked us up and the mechanic who changed our trailer tire. The owner's wife called to check in with us several times. THANK YOU!
Saved me, truck broke down 3 hours from home on the way to a wedding. Ricky called me back asap and kept me in the loop on the repair. Couldn't have asked for more. Prompt and courteous service.
They speed up and down my street everyday. I live on a road next to them. The speed limit is 25 and they have no regard for it. This is a residential neighborhood with kids playing whilst semi trucks are speeding down the street.
I was traveling from Savannah to Augusta and ran out of gas on a desolate stretch of highway in South Carolina. I thought I was in real trouble as the nearest gas station was still a 12 mile walk. Lucky for me, Broome’s was able to bring a can of gas out and get me back on the road. Broome’s was prompt and extremely courteous. I cannot recommend them enough!
Broke down on the road and had a great service tech help us out. Tim was quick efficient nice to work with and a complete lifesaver, you couldn't ask for a better helping hand to save your trip when out of town! Highly recommended.
Beware of such cheaters!! This place they don’t care about customers, I gave him drive shaft job for replace yoke & hanger bearing this morning & call him 3 times before 10AM to get estimate first.But instead of telling me anything (Amy) she call me 12 o’clock for money 2838.17$. When I asked about charges she did not explain she hung up on me.very poor customer service, over charged, charge me for work that was not even required.
They are very professional, polite, courteous and busy. They explained what they would do and said they would call me when they were finished and approximately how much it would cost. Good to their word I got a voicemail and went to pick up the item and it's perfect. Even offered to load it up for me. I definitely recommend this business..
Everyone did a great job on my vehicle from the tow to the repair. My car is performing great and I would highly suggest taking it to Broome’s. Rick did a great job of keeping me informed of their progress and is extremely knowledgeable.
I have experienced nothing but great service and direction for my repair needs from Broomes Service Center. The prices are as fair as you will find anywhere. And the turn around time for my repairs are so quick.

Great service, they have definitely improved their services and friendly atmosphere. Quality work which is consistent, my truck runs now like I just bought it off a car lot. I highly recommend using this place for any repair work. Cudos to Rick Burkhalter for being of great support as well and for going the extra mile for me.

I needed a 10x16 Barn style shed moved and had tried for weeks to have others move it. I was stood up and promised but the three others never did the job then I found Broome Service Center. I called in and described the situation. Earl called me back the same day and was able to schedule it to be moved within a couple of days. I did not get my hopes up as seeing I was stood up before. The scheduled day we received a conformation call and the wrecker showed up on time. They were efficient and effective and affordable. I was impressed and surprised! The customer service was awesome! They made this look easy and it only took a couple hours. I would definitely recommend and call again when I needed!
Today my tire popped and I was stuck with my two month old baby and it was 32 degrees and this man John was nice enough to help me and put my spare tire on such a nice guy I really appreciated his help these people at this place are very nice and great service I definitely recommend to everyone
Just plain rude. Their big tow truck was in the dead middle of the dirt road I live on and I could tell they were doing something a little ways down, but it was nowhere near the truck, so I honked my horn several times over 15-20 minutes and the techs just threw their hands up at me. No one ever came down to my car to either move the truck or even explain what was going on. Therefore, I called the company number and spoke to a receptionist who called the driver and she had an attitude the whole time explaining they're trying to load a tractor on the bed. How? The truck was NOWHERE near where the techs were. *picture to prove too* I asked the receptionist if she could ask the driver to please move the truck over just a little so I could get by and she said he could not. That leaves me having to go the back way off my road which 1) takes me completely out of the way of where I have to go, and 2) is super rutted/washed out so it tears vehicles up no matter how slow you go.
I don't think I'd ever do business with them mainly because of the rudeness and attitudes. A tech still never came up to my car to explain anything even 20+ minutes later.
My friends car broke down and her insurance sent them. They took almost an hour to come get it. When he said that he will be there soon. Then he decides to light up a cigarette before he even got out of the truck. I’m glad I was there to help her and give her and her family a ride home because he had someone in the truck with him. Even if it was just her her wouldn’t have been able to give her a ride home with her car.
Great customer service. They moved a large shipping container on short notice when another company stood us up. The two men were very friendly did everything they could to help us get the container situation on our property. They could not get it where we wanted but that was due the terrain not a fault of thiers.
Where do I begin?... We brought my husband's semi truck to Broome's Service Center about a year for an engine overall, we were quoted 13,000, lost 1 month of work, could never get a hold of anyone and finally ended paying 15,000... As soon as my husband went back on the road the truck started burning oil, he brought it back and was told "It's normal, it will go away" by Steve. Needless to say the issue DID NOT resolve! We brought the truck back 5 times!!! Kept getting the run around, then finally was told the cylinder head was damaged from the beginning and that they would replace it in a week. Our truck is still sitting there 2 weeks later with no answers, when I tried contacting Graig, the shop manager I was rudely told to " Shut my mouth and listen" and to "Give him a damn minute" after that he hung up. I called back and asked to speak with the owner and was told the owner is not there and there is no phone number for him. They have put my husband out of work for over 3 months collectively and I have never experienced this level of poor costumer service. If anyone has owner's info I would appreciate it.
