Anytime I've Ever Needed a part they seem to always have it I recommend calling them for anything they had my valve cover which I was shocked because it was so hard to find this one for a 6.8 L for a 2001 V10 Ford F-350 they are the only place in this whole state that had one
I contacted them a couple of weeks ago regarding my car for purchase that is now 14 years old and runs well. it has many valuable parts. I finally got up there today only to be told he would give me scrap price of $200. They didn't even look at the car so this was a complete utter waste of time. Had he the brains enough to tell me that on the phone I would have never gone there in person. Not to mention he was very short, rude and unprofessional.
Sold me a bent wheel after interrogating the damage report online and asking the owner to confirm.
Was told is wasnt bent, put it on a tire machine and it is bent.
The owner and his employees are very nice. They helped me out with a bumper hood and a headlight. I’ve been coming here since I was 18. They probably don’t remember me because i only shop here when i need parts but i remember them 100%
I get treated well every time i come here and thats why i always come back.

The owner, Don lied and committed credit card fraud. I paid for a windshield w/my credit card, on the phone, almost 2 weeks ago. It had to be pulled, so Don wanted payment up front. I told him I lived 2 hours away and would have to take off work to pick it up. He assured me it would be ready the next business day. I called before leaving - it wasn't ready.
Don then said it wont be ready until the next day and out of the blue tells me the glass might break when he pulls it, due to the cold. Huh!? It's December in New England. It's not like it was 75 degrees when I paid him. Why didn't he tell me that BEFORE he took my money?
I called the next day and guess what? Don said he broke the glass pulling it. Shocker!
He said he would refund me right away, but he was defensive and rude. No apology was made and he acted like I was bothering him. I called back 3 days later and he had NOT refunded my card yet. He told me he needed my card number again to issue the refund. He said he forgot to call me. Seriously?
It's been almost 2 weeks and he has still NOT refunded me.
I've worked in merchant payment processing for Visa/MC for almost 20 years. I've disputed the charge and reported Kingstown to the appropriate folks.
I purchased from them because they had good reviews on Google - not a lot of reviews, but they seemed like a solid business. I now believe the majority of their reviews are fake or posted by employees or friends. I have no proof of this of course, but in my experience, someone does this, doesn't just do it once. It's usually a pattern.
It's frustrating because I make an effort to support small businesses and I prefer using them over Amazon or Walmart even if I have to pay a little more. However, I know if I purchased from them, I'd never have these issues.
I love and frequently leave great reviews for small businesses that do a good job. I don't like leaving negative reviews. Im patient and really have to be pushed to leave a negative review. But these guys have screwed me out of my money during the holidays when I need it the most and could care less.
By the way, anyone with any auto experience knows, when pulling glass in the cold, you put the car in a garage and let it warm up.
Don and his employees are very polite and helpful. If he doesn't happen to have the part you need he will locate and help you find it. I reside in Connecticut and when I am in Rhode Island I will get my parts here first!
The land you are storing these cars on is invaluable. please please be careful with runoff from older vehicles into that watershed. You are floating atop a huge underground river! The lakes are just tips of the iceberg!!!
Don was incredibly helpful in getting me and my Buick back on the road. I'd been looking for a place for several months that wouldn't overcharge me to replace parts after a minor accident. The shop did a wonderful job, my car looks great, and I couldn't be happier. Definitely will be returning for any future repairs.
They take a long time to call back but they always do. 5 hours to check for tires and call me back? Maybe he had to go check each tire in the yard. If that’s the case let me know and I’ll change to 5 star
This place is so inept.No one had any idea of what was going on.My car was there for 9 weeks to have a used transmission installed to replace faulty transmission.During this debacle one of the staff decided to junk my car.They took it in the junk yard and started to stack other cars on top of mine.By the time I discovered this they ruined two doors on driver's side,scratched passeger doors,dented roof to the point it leaked during rain.They realized how they destroyed my car.I discovered they don't let you talk to Robin who's never availible.Total disaster of an experience. I wouldn't send someone to get air or directions.
Great place, wonderful staff, and willing to work with you... I have a 97 Chevy pickup that's a classic but also a pain in the ass. They are quick to see if they have the parts, good prices, and even better service prices.... they definitely have a repeat customer
The staff was nice. Helped with EVERY question I had. They were willing to work with me and try to help my situation. Knowledgeable and friendly. They had the same price as everyone else and had it waiting for me .
Don is awsome saved me over a thousand I thought I had to replace my tranny come to find the shop I bought the car from cut corners and used rubber hoses with zip ties thanks Don will always go to you for parts and work.
