Called to ask about disposing of old truck tires on a Saturday, said I would receive a call back from Greg. Called back an hour and a half later Greg was back there, but out in the yard. Called back to speak to him, got hung up on. Very rude. All I wanted was a simple yes or no answer regarding my question. Used to go here all the time to scrap cars 7 years ago and never had an issue. I guess it was too much a bother to ask a simple question. I'll bring my business elsewhere
They had my car for over 9weeks topurchase and install transmission.While it was there someone stole my license plate.then someone wrote on door window "junkMeanwhile they used alarge fork lift and picked up the car and stacked it on top of another car.Soon after they stacked one more car on top of mine.This resulted in partially crushing my car's roof & destroyed 2 doors on driver's side.At one point they dumped the contents of glove box onto floor.They said they would adjust the price of the transmission replacement.upon finally getting the car back, the transmission was no good The adjustment was $175.
Great place to bring the whole family! Lots of fun activities for the kids! Spacious play area with cutting torches, excavators with hydraulic shears, bobcats with grapples. Hours of fun await you!
if you are in the southern part of RI this is hands down the best place to scrap, they always have fair prices and fair weights. There are a few other yard close by but the employees are always mean, at F&G I always feel like they care about my business.
This was a really good place to get parts for my truck. Knowledgeable staff, friendly and very helpful too. I need to get some tow hooks for my truck, when I was unable to get them off myself with my socket wrench and breaker bar that I brought with me, one of the guys grabbed one of their fork trucks and brought the junk truck out and torched the stubborn rusty bolts off, so that I could get get my new tow hooks for my truck. I got them for a pretty reasonable price too. Despite the fact that I live out in South Central Connecticut, it was definitely worth the drive. I plan on going back out there again soon for more parts.
