Just want to send a shout-out to these guys. Back in December they replaced a harmonic balancer on my 05 corvette. Couldn’t be happier. My wife’s CLA250 needed a thermostat replaced, once again they came through. I had suspected that a wheel bearing(s) was beginning to fail on my wife’s car. I spoke to Dave, and he ordered the parts. Upon diagnosing he determined it was the tires. Rotated the tires and now the thumping sound is gone. Listen, they could have easily replaced the bearings and made a lot more money, but that isn’t how they operate. Wife’s car also had an EVAP issue. Dave spoke to us not to top off the fuel tank in that particular model of Mercedes. It turned out that the charcoal canister was damaged from fuel. Probably one of the last honest mechanics in the area, and I have no desire to look elsewhere.
I can't tell you how many mechanics I have gone to in all my years. Only to think that I am being taken advantage of or the repair is not right. I have finally found a home. Honest, hard working and done right the first time. Another thing in life I don't have to worry about now. Thanks Marino's!!
David and the rest of the team at Marino’s is top notch. I’ve brought my vehicles to shops all around the Washington county area and have never had the service I receive here at Marinos. As long as David’s in business I won’t bring my vehicles or recommend vehicles to be brought anywhere else. Respectful people that care about getting your vehicle to you FIXED! Not just getting you the vehicle with the codes wiped off the computer. They do the job 1000% effort or better
Had the transmission changed out in my 1954 Willys Jeep. Very professional operation. Great communication and superb workmanship. Dave and his Son are very knowledgeable and great to deal with.
Marinos is the place to get your car fixed! Got to love family owned businesses. My father gets his business trucks fixed here and we take our personal vehicles here. I don’t know much about cars. Our dealer told us that our truck frame was too rusted to even take on the highway safely anymore and that we should just buy a new one. We instead brought it to Marino’s to get the frame repaired. They looked at the frame and gave us a quote to have it repaired, but told us that we didn’t really need to have anything done. They could have easily rolled me on this, but they were totally honest. You don’t find that anymore. I’d recommend this business to anyone.
I had a very scary incident this morning where I lost a front wheel (rim and all) while driving and ended up stranded on the side of the road on I95. Luckily, no one was hurt but my car was damaged and towed to Marino’s Auto Repair. I am from the NYC area and a stranger to that town, but the owner David was so kind and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He spoke to my mechanic back home and together they devised the best way to fix the car quickly and efficiently. David even called a rental car company for me and when he saw that I was still waiting to be picked up after an hour of waiting, he graciously gave us a ride to the rental car place so we could be on our way. Later on today, he called to let me know that my car was ready (on his end) so when my mechanic shows up, they can get it out the door quickly.
I am so grateful to David and his willingness to go the extra mile - he made a difficult and emotional day easier to deal with. I would highly recommend Marino’s Auto Repair. Customer service and expertise are obvious traits that are prevalent within this business!
Not many times can you count on a stranger to help you out when you need it most . We had a flat tire near his shop he went above and beyond to get us a tire and back on the road and only charged 30 $ . Didn't take advantage of the situation great guy highly recommended.
Only mechanic around I trust. Whenever I bring anything here I know it will be done quick and done right. Also I don't know what that 1 star review is talking about... they're always great there.
