Mates, these guys are awesome!! I own a small business, wouldn't go anywhere else with my scrap. The dad and the brothers are great to deal with and work their butts off. Prices are definitely fair, been going here for years, won't go anywhere else, highly recommend!!
Bunch of old guys who sit there crying and complaining about their job that they chose to do. Just sitting there yelling horrible service I do not recommend wasting your time with these people

The owner is awesome and fair when it comes to renting a dumpster, and double when it comes to the latest scrap values. I highly recommend stopping by.. very clean and organized.
The old guy here needs to Shut his mouth and do just do his job. I’ve dealt with 2 guys here. Young guy is legit, but the old guy has some disrespectful comment about everything for absolutely no reason. If they had the best prices, maybe worth it, but providence and Walpole scrap yards are worth the drive for both their prices and quality of the guys who work there. Actually, I’d drive to the other locations even if the prices were worse.
Been coming here for 7 years with my kids. excellent service, open and fair pricing, no headaches. located on main road, easy in & out; and the ground is always clean.
I had some scrap metal to get rid of and decided to give Heavy Metal a try due to convenience. The gentleman that worked the there were on point at helping me efficiently and with kindness. They were knowledgeable and honest. I recommend them highly. A great group of guys!!!

My husband and I had been cleaning out our basement and yard of all kinds of metal "junk" chairs, swings etc. They were super nice and took it off our hands. Definitely will come back here!
Five stars from me. Went here for the first time with some aluminum, very clean shop, exceptionally fair and up-to-date pricing for metals. Lou was very helpful and courteous. For anyone looking to get rid of scrap metal i suggest you stop at Heavy Metal first. I will be definitely going back again soon

I wanted to recycle washers and driers that I was removing from my tenement house in Woonsocket. I called ahead and asked how much Heavy Metal was paying for something like that. They told me $.06/lb. I was driving by a couple weeks later and stopped in to verify they would be able to take them all that day (there were 8 total). I found a few employees in the parking area looking at an old car. Immediately they all looked at me like I was bothering them. I told the man who approached me that I was looking to bring the washer and driers by that day and wanted to make sure they would be able to take them. He then told me that they "won't take stuff like that from the public because the market is crashing". This was on 7/12/22. I said I was just told they would pay $.06/lb a couple weeks ago? He then told me "its now $.02 or $.03/lb. Either keep them hanging around for 6 months or take the $.03/lb like everybody else". Well, I didnt bring them my scrap metal. I brought it to Berger in Pawtucket where I was treated professionally and with respect. Turns out they pay more $$ too!
Prices were consistent with what I was told on phone and the shop is extremely clean. They will have you in and out very quickly. Great place to do business
Great service .I have used their dumpster service several times without any problems . Louie and his staff are excellent people to do business with . Courteous , on time delivery and removal of dumpster. Will use their service again Great price!
Louie helped us out tremendously over the weekend. Top dollar for all of our copper and he also helped unload the other materials and separated the metals with his staff. We will definitely be returning soon!
The men that work there were nothing but helpful, attentive and explained anything I had a question about. I recieved a honest call back on some items I left also. I would recommend this place. Prices honest and fair and great customer service
Been here several times now and they have always been great. Good customer service / helpful. Didn’t have to unload anything from my truck either. Will definitely be back.
