The owner, Don lied and committed credit card fraud. I paid for a windshield w/my credit card, on the phone, almost 2 weeks ago. It had to be pulled, so Don wanted payment up front. I told him I lived 2 hours away and would have to take off work to pick it up. He assured me it would be ready the next business day. I called before leaving - it wasn't ready. Don then said it wont be ready until the next day and out of the blue tells me the glass might break when he pulls it, due to the cold. Huh!? It's December in New England. It's not like it was 75 degrees when I paid him. Why didn't he tell me that BEFORE he took my money? I called the next day and guess what? Don said he broke the glass pulling it. Shocker! He said he would refund me right away, but he was defensive and rude. No apology was made and he acted like I was bothering him. I called back 3 days later and he had NOT refunded my card yet. He told me he needed my card number again to issue the refund. He said he forgot to call me. Seriously? It's been almost 2 weeks and he has still NOT refunded me. I've worked in merchant payment processing for Visa/MC for almost 20 years. I've disputed the charge and reported Kingstown to the appropriate folks. I purchased from them because they had good reviews on Google - not a lot of reviews, but they seemed like a solid business. I now believe the majority of their reviews are fake or posted by employees or friends. I have no proof of this of course, but in my experience, someone does this, doesn't just do it once. It's usually a pattern. It's frustrating because I make an effort to support small businesses and I prefer using them over Amazon or Walmart even if I have to pay a little more. However, I know if I purchased from them, I'd never have these issues. I love and frequently leave great reviews for small businesses that do a good job. I don't like leaving negative reviews. Im patient and really have to be pushed to leave a negative review. But these guys have screwed me out of my money during the holidays when I need it the most and could care less. By the way, anyone with any auto experience knows, when pulling glass in the cold, you put the car in a garage and let it warm up.

Don was incredibly helpful in getting me and my Buick back on the road. I'd been looking for a place for several months that wouldn't overcharge me to replace parts after a minor accident. The shop did a wonderful job, my car looks great, and I couldn't be happier. Definitely will be returning for any future repairs.
