These guys are always on time and very professional. Nice, clean equipment and more importantly the right truck for the job. The prices are very fair. I use them very frequently.
Met them by accident. Litterally. Car crashed into my motorcycle. My son showed up at tow yard with a trailer to pick up bike same day, and was told it could only be released to registered owner. Registered owner was still in a hospital bed. Try to pick up next day. Their business page on Google lists hours as open until 5. At noon there "answering service" says they won't be open until Monday. Monday I call and ask if I need to bring anything to pick up, "no, just be Registered owner" show up they write the bill and I hand over card. "Weren't take plastic" I can take plastic on my phone, you certainly can as a business. Let's hope we dont meet by accident again.
Amazing to work with during a trying time of a car accident. Very glad Daves Towing picked up the car. Feeling very fortunate to have Jenny and Adam’s help.
We use tow companies a lot in the business we are in. I am always looking for another company to work with should we need their services. I called for very simple, basic information and the person refused to give it to me. Extremely rude. Even if you are extremely busy, overwhelmed (who isn’t?), you should always consider your callers potential customers. I would never call them for anything.
I had a flat tire this morning and I am so grateful that Jose from Dave's was able to help me! He came very quickly and had me back on the road within minutes!
This place is a lifesaver!!! Keys locked in the car and they took care of me no questions asked!! They stepped up when AAA couldn’t. Thanks for being there when I needed it the most!
Car was leaking brake fluid, so Domenic picked up at my house and brought it to the garage. He was awesome! Quick, friendly and polite! I would use again in a heartbeat! Thanx Dom!
Driver Showed up and insisted my car was totaled to try and convince me to leave my car at his lot and rack up storage fees, fortunately for myself I don’t take mechanical advice from a tow truck driver so I got it out same day, and took it to my mechanic and wouldn’t you guess , the car was not totaled. I would not recommend this shady company. Also the lady at front desk has to be one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Luckily aaa reimbursed me for the towing fee. $175 for a 2 mile tow is robbery.
Called Dave's Service was stalled on Washington Highway. They were there in 3 minutes, they had truck near me finishing another call. Very polite and professional man.Was up and running in no time.
Absolutely lousy company, they sent someone with a jiffy jump when I needed a tow truck. The person said I needed to call again to get a tow truck. After waiting over 3 hours I called AAA to find out where they were and was told Dave's towing declined to tow my truck leaving me stranded. Stuck from 10:30 am and still waiting at 2:30 pm

Absolutely horrible. The lady who owns the place is incredibly rude and condescending, and the entire place is just a joke. Very rude, heartless people there who are very unhelpful. Terrible place, would never recommend. Police should stop using them, no one should be forced to deal with this place.
Out in the rain at Stop & Shop and car didn’t start. Called Dave’s and within minutes we had someone to help us. Thanks so much!! Pleasant and professional!!
Wish I could rate 0 stars, this outfit was dispatched to pick up my pristine classic truck when it was having engine issues. My mechanic received it with 3 tires and a dent in the side. When I called I was yelled at and berated by what I can only imagine as a female Jabba the Hutt, who told me there's nothing they could do and it's my fault. Utter incompetence, do not recommend.
Unfortunately, although I was told this company was “on their way” to help multiple times, and they never showed up.
I called AAA for service and was connected with a tow truck from Dave’s Towing. I received a notification that they were on their way and under 30 minutes away. I tracked the tow truck once it said “arriving soon” and they were maybe 20 minutes away. Gave them some extra time, then their location appeared to be going away from me. I called AAA back and they said they had no idea what was going on, but would call me back after contacting the driver. AAA called back and said the driver wasn’t answering, but was reassured from dispatch that they were on their way to me, as I watched the tow truck continue to track going further away from me (clearly doing MULTIPLE other jobs). AAA told me 4 times they were on their way to me, but each time they struggled to get ahold of the driver/know what they were doing. I waited for hours, until I finally cancelled the tow truck seeing that the wait was going on 5 hours.
Rep from Dave's towing was fast to respond, compassionate, and worked very hard to get me back on the road again - his gas cans kept breaking on him but finally he found a funnel and made it happen. I'll definitely use them again.
My car broke down, I called this guys to have towed to a shop in the area, they charged $120 for about 1 mile towing the driver didn't give me receipt. Called the driver and asked him for it and he said to call the office. When I called the office they won't give a you a receipt and the person answering the phone is 100% rude. They don't try to help you out and to top it all off he started screaming at me an hung up the phone.
I would never use them again.
Got into an accident in Smithfield and the company responded to the accident to pick up all vehicles involved. We assumed we were being towed their facility which was 5 minutes away and then found they were trying to bring our car to their friend's body shop in Chepachet without asking us if that was who we wanted to use for our repairs. Then hassled us about giving our body shop permission to pick up the car, they wanted us to come in person with the body shop to release the car. The driver was had was very friendly and courteous, it was his manager who was calling the shots.
Dave’s towing is a true lifesaver! My vehicle was completely broken down in the middle of a major intersection and Gary from Dave’s towing took the time and energy to make sure I was safe and that my car was towed to my mechanic in a timely fashion. I would recommend them to anyone for the professional service and kindness and helping people in distress.
Horrible service all around. Towing is available on Sundays but you cannot get your car nor items in your car. (I needed my house keys). I arrived Sunday morning hoping they would just grab the keys since people were there. They looked at me like I had 5 heads. Overall, extremely unhelpful. The next day I call to make sure I am able to pick up my car. The woman says my car is not there??? I'm explaining make and model, that it was an impound not an accident. Shes just very rude and telling me I'm wrong. I told her the car was red and she said there were no maroon cars on the lot. How would she have been able to specify the shade if it wasn't there? She's telling me there's an Impala, no Caprice classic on the lot. So I pull up anyway bc I was just there yesterday and I saw my car. I get there and she is STILL telling me that my car is not there. I look past the woman and out the window, guess what I see in plain sight. My MAROON CHEVY CAPRICE CLASSIC. I tell her that's my car. She looks me dead in the eyes and says "Are you sure it's not an Impala?". At this point I'm appalled at the gall of this woman. One hurdle after another, now the POS system is down. Cash only. She tells me I can go to the ATM at the MILK STORE? What??? I go to the atm (I didn't go to the milk store) come back, she's still giving me a hard time bc I went to get my car keys from the car myself. Shes getting heated so I cut her off and I'm like "you want the keys or not, lady? Im trying to leave." Shes following me out of the building and yelling about calling the cops. All this hassle and shes not even wearing a mask. 0/5 stars. Would never recommend.
Told me I had to leave my plates with them until insurance pays. After they got paid they told me they didnt have my plates that I took them. They called back later in the day and said oh we found 1 plate. Gee thanks for telling me im a liar. Of course no apology was coming from them. VERY RUDE......
Very poor response time. AAA should find a more reliable company to do their towing as they will lose alot of customers.
I plan on finding a new company a contacting everyone that I know to discontinue business.

Rude! Rude! Rude! My car got towed by them to their shop after hours, so I called next day to come pick up and get the cost ... he was very rude , put me on hold while finishing helping another costumer, then never came back on phone. Heard him talking to his employees in the background Telling him he Is going to leave me waiting and I can call back on Monday along with other comments... then he hung the phone up. Not once did he come back on the phone to answer my questions or tell me they are closing and I wouldn’t be able to get my vehicle on Monday...extremely rude and the worst customer service ever
I am not happy with this place at all. AAA sent them to tow my car at the parking lot. We were thinking to tow it home first. The driver suggested towing it to their garage (which is abt 1 mile, same distance to my house) and have them priced it. We waited for their call since early PM. No call back. We called them next day afternoon. A women told my husband they couldt fix it but we need to pay them 80 dollars for towing it to their garage. My husband wanted to explain we were not informed with any charges ahead. The women was rude and yelled at him " there is no free lunch out there." I will not want their service again.
Got a tow with this company through AAA, driver arrived very quickly ( I’ll give him that). However he asked where the car was going before loading it, I told him and his attitude change immediately, he must not have been happy about the distance which was only about 15 miles. Long story short he started pulling the car onto the flat bed while I was still getting stuff out of the back seat (after I had told him to give me a second) so I said something and the driver got very confrontational came right up to me and started yelling about how I got him out of his warm house at 10pm ( sorry man but that’s your job). If you want prompt service use these guys just now you’re going to deal with rude unprofessional drivers
Called in to AAA with a request to replace a dead battery. Shortly after my call Henri from Daves Towing was in my driveway. Henri very quickly realized that there was a crack in my battery. Switched the battery out. He then did a quick diagnostic evaluation to confirm no other issues. Henri was very professional and most pleasant!!! Great customer service.

If i could id put zero stars. Yes my car was towed due to a officer being rediculous to my fiance but there was no reason for them to rip my whole entire car apart stealing the money inside the compartment under my car radio and every cent of coins i had in the ashtray even every penny my son was saving in his door own door compartment on top of ripping apart under the rugs and sears of the entire car as well as stealing my tire gauge reading tools i had several in the drivers doors bulbs for spare ones in case i needed one and a couple screw driver sets i as a woman had in my car. They are complete rip odds and i would never ever refer this company to anyone i know ever ever in my life again. Everything i had in my glove box concluding napkins from cumbys was stolen how low are you to steal from another family's family vehicle why because you towed it okay that's y i had to pay 200 bucks for never does that give you the right or permission to steal everything worth a buck inside and out. Rediculous. The workers looks disgusting and griss like they dont shower or havent in months. Pretty disgusted that someone cant trust a towe company not to steal every lil thing that may be valuable in my car. Even my sons toy was smashed and then nicely placed on his back seat as he cried the whole way home bc of it. This is a pathetic company that no one should ever go to everrrrrr. Nit even a last resort
