Lot of time I rather buy at Car-parts.com where you can find all the junkyards from around your area and cheap prices than paying more for a part at PicknPull and you have to take it out. They wanted $25 for 2 rear trunk shock absorber, online new they're $20. Wheel hub $44.5 and car-parts lot of time $35 and $50 and you don't waste time taking it out.
This place is a joke, cars listed online aren't even available in the yard. The system to find cars is whack. Looks good when you walk in because it looks organized, but you won't find what you're looking for after you pay your $3 to enter. Definitely won't go back.
I came in 6/16/25 looking for interior parts for an old Yukon Denali and got lucky. Found a fresh one on the lot, mostly untouched, which is rare. While digging through it, I found a big cardboard box in the trunk filled with brand new front-end suspension parts. Control arms, tie rods, sway bar links, idler and pitman arms, all unused. The box even had the previous owner’s name and address on it. Clearly not something the yard put there or had priced. It was a solid score and I figured being honest was the right move.
I could’ve easily said I brought the parts in myself to compare or just kept quiet altogether. Nobody would’ve known. The parts weren’t inventoried and the car had just hit the lot. But I chose to be upfront and give them a chance to do the right thing. Instead, they treated me like I was bothering them or exposing something they wanted for themselves. The two guys I showed it to immediately got defensive, kept asking “what car was it from” over and over like they were stalling or just mad they hadn’t found it first. The energy completely shifted.
Then the manager, same guy who checked me in earlier, comes over acting smug and uninterested. No thanks. No appreciation for the honesty. Just “we still have to charge whatever our system says for used parts” and starts ringing things up. Just the two control arms came out to over 80 dollars. I stopped him right there and said forget it. At those prices, it wasn’t even worth continuing.
No acknowledgment. No apology. No “thanks for bringing this to us.” Just blank stares and cold shoulders. The manager was a total jerk. I walked out with nothing for simply trying to do the right thing.
The car also had the previous owner’s license, debit card, and a ring in it, probably fake but still. I took them and I’m mailing them back myself because I honestly don’t trust that the yard would’ve done the right thing. If I had turned that in, I wouldn’t be surprised if they kept the ring or even tried using the card. They clearly don’t check these vehicles for sensitive or personal items and just rely on customers to clean up after them when it comes to unusual finds.
I didn’t come in trying to scam anyone. I acted with integrity. And they made it clear that’s not something they value. Just a trash experience from start to finish.

Ok the name implies that you need to pull the parts, they don't pulled them for you. If you don't have the tools or the will to do this look elsewhere for the parts. they have very good inventory
Called was told thay had a motor drove 45 min to find it gone asked about the trans was told 150 plus core charge and tax 300 something after all fees but get this thay won't 140 for a back door prices are crazy asked about a set of tail lights that I read on there price board 26.99 a set that means 2 lights then the lady tells me that each I can get new off amazon cheeper will never be going back here I'll stick with sams pull apart way better deals and there not out to rob u anyone who buys parts from this pick n pull ur getting robbed won't let me post no stars go fig
Worst pick and pull you could ever imagine. If I could give a -1 rating, i would. Prices are absolutely insane (wanted $40 for a plastic dash vent, I told them to keep it). Bad selection, car turn over is bad also. 1 good employee, rest suck. Stick to Sam's in Worcester ...... "pick n pull" locations are horrendous. The one in Johnston is no good either.
1st time here after being advised that y’all have Saturn Parts. Employees were very knowledgeable and helpful and had complementary Tools / Wagons. Yard was spacious and organized by make and model and the prices weren’t bad for the parts I needed.

Im putting 5 stars for Huyen!! She was an absolute pleasure to work with. There were a few setbacks with getting my car picked up that I wasn’t too happy about (corporates fault not the Cumberland location!!) but as soon as I spoke with Huyen my frustration and worries went away. I would def work with pick and pull again just because of her, keep up the good work!!
People constantly bitching about the costs, and considering that all parts are expensive. But instead of purchasing expensive Chinese knockoffs you are usually getting OEM parts!
I'd rather buy a fender from a vehicle here than a cheap Chinese fender that won't align.
EDIT!! I need to downgrade my last review. New "FEES" like "CORE" charges, "ENVIRONMENTAL" fees have raised the price of the used parts to a point that I can consider a new part to be competitively priced without me having to travel and the convenience of delivery. OLD REVIEW---This place is clutch!, ~Great Prices~, NOT!! (they're willing to work with you)-Not really anymore. I only wish it was closer to me.
Can't say enough on how awesome this place is! I've been looking for years for a limited production, one year only part that I finally found here. Problem is, I'm in Virginia, 10 hours away. I talked with Corey and he arranged to have the part pulled and shipped to me...all while they had a crazy snowstorm. The price was still awesome including removal and shipping!
Why they charges 2 dollar to go in the yard 5 dólar extra to use the yard you have to pay for the old part of the car that you need and for the things you have to buy ?? We are giving out free money to this place, I hope for next year be much better!!!
Amazing store! Customer service on site is always amazing! If you need help in the yard they are more than willing to help you with your search. Always great being met with a smiling face. They don't only care about your vehicle but your needs as well. A++++
Decent if they have what you're looking for but good luck finding it. the customer service is terrible, whoever the woman is with the terrible attitude is not helping bring in customers.
Go in yesterday to see if they have parts for my car. They had them but were closing soon so I didn't want to hold them up. Trying to be nice I tell them they have what I need and I will be back asap. NEXT day go back and they crushed the car I just discussed with them. That's terrible business. even if that row was next or whatever you gave as an excuse, you could have asked your crew to throw that car aside for a few days or something knowing someone was coming back for it. seemed like they cared more about whatever was on their phones than any of the customers that were there.
I had a vehicle that didn't run and had been sitting in my driveway for longer than I'd care to admit. I submitted an online application to Pick-n-Pull and received a fair offer instantly. A representative called me shortly after I accepted the offer to verify my title information and schedule a convenient pickup time. The driver who arrived was very friendly and had the car out of my yard in less than 10 minutes, including time for paperwork. I should have done this sooner!
Purchased Front Bumper and Grill they said it would fit my year, make model ( it didn’t) returned 2 days later and was given a store credit!!! ( like NO I paid cash ) or go get a year make car with parts for my car …

The 3 stars are for the friendly service, but this is definitely the highest price u-pull-it by far that I've ever been to. (And I've been to many of them in numerous states) the price on most every item ranges from high to outrageous. Was a little disappointed in that since I drove from n.y. to get here. I purchased $235 in parts that would have literally cost about half that at another yard. You're basically paying e-bay prices. Don't think I'll be back, strictly for that reason.
Usually I have a good experience at pick and pull but I'm going to let everyone know that if you need a transmission DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT come here. I spent $200 on a transmission and an extra $80 to get it taken out. When I asked if the transmission was a good transmission I was told that it was good, so I bought it. Fast forward and I go to my mechanic to get it put into my vehicle and the labor is $500 they tell me that my car won't move with the new transmission that I bought, and it was true. My only choice was the cheapest choice which was to put my old one back in because at least my car would drive and that was an EXTRA $500 to do that. In total I spent $1280 FOR NOTHING. I went to return the transmission here and only got $37 because of the policy they have. Can you believe this? spending $1280 only to get $37 back? You can imagine how devastating this is for someone who really doesn't have much money AND in a time like this during this Virus Pandemic. I am so upset but came on here to warn everyone to NEVER buy a transmission here unless you know how to test it and see if it's ACTUALLY good....
So far great help, service and returned a part n got replacement no problem. Fixed price is nice to know before going. Was even let in day two to keep working on a part on the day one admission. They are good people.
This is basically a 1 star since it is because there is 1 worker out if many that doesn't belong working there, I cut my hand and had blood everywhere and I was told that " It's not my PROBLEM" by one employee, I tried to explain I have a blood disease and I was trying to look out for the employees and the customers and he didn't care but luckily there was a woman there that work there and she took care of it so people should know this OSHA should know this they should have a first aid kit in a place like that like I said it was only one employee out of five and anybody that goes there probably knows what I'm talking about the manager is excellent and everybody else is excellent but One Bad Apple and sometimes spoil the whole bunch thank you!
i came into this location today for the first time ever, i read all of these reviews about bad customer service and bad attitudes and i experienced absolutely NONE of that at all, it was the exact opposite actually. everyone that i dealt with was very personable and very professional and even went above and beyond helping me out with a tire plug kit when i happened to get a flat after i had already purchased the 2 doors that i got a great deal on!! I personally will be back to this location very happily and KUDOS to the staff i will be sending business their way!!
Went to get a transmission and it was way cheaper than rebuild. Asked where to fimd one and they gave me list with locations and vehicle descriptions. If you don't have the right tools or the knowledge to get what you need don't bother. Only thing I didn't like was people asking to borrow tools or how to do it. Sorry that says you shouldn't be there . Everything is online from nut & bolt, socket n wrench sizes as well as complete instructions.
It was my first time going to Pick n Pull and was very pleased with my experience. The staff was very helpful and I was able to find all the parts I was looking for at a great price. Would highly recommend them to friends and family.
I have never been to this yard, but I am writing a review to counteract the 1-star rating that one reviewer gave this place, just because they denied access to the yard within a half-hour of closing. Seems like a reasonable rule to me. But, seriously, how can you complain about their hours, when they are open not only Saturday, but Sunday as well?? Few auto salvage yards are open Saturday, never mind Sunday. Do you work seven days a week?
I'm in a used car business and have to deal with all sorts of auto parts stores and this yard deserve no star at all. It use to be one of the worst places while it was Bill's Auto parts but after it became a part of the corporate, prices and inventory has changed but the attitude remained the same.
Can't believe that someone so arrogant to the customers has remained to stay in business*. Will never go to this place again.
