Waited 2 months for a wiring harness. First, I was sent an entirely unrelated item. Got a refund, ordered a 2nd time- they told me I had the wrong address entered (which hadn't changed from the pervious order), went back to their website and they had no harnesses left.
3rd time they said they would find me a wire harness and ship it ASAP. Waited 3 weeks, got sent an entirely different model, missing half of the harness, with plugs burnt out all over.Jan 13, 2026 -
I have ordered from dead jeep through the years and had good experiences. This time I ordered a fuel rail for an XJ No shipping no communication for two months. I have emailed and left voicemails and heard nothing back. This is unacceptably poor customer service. I will not be ordering from them again. My guess is that they leave things on the website even if they don’t have them. If they are out of stock they just take your money and run.

SCAM ARTISTS. Bought a rebuilt transmission for a CJ5. It came with gears completely broken. They sent a return label so I could send back and get a refund. They received it back and kept my money! Cannot get ahold of. They will not answer the phone. If you know someone in Rhode Island, please let me know.

Absolutely the worst place in the free world to purchase used jeep parts from!!! They never answer the phone, they don’t respond to emails and they are the slowest ever at shipping parts.

Great company to find used jeep parts for great prices! Why buy new parts for old jeeps! The old parts are better made than the new aftermarket stuff. Shipping was quick and very happy with my purchase. And the customer Service is great and helpful. Great company with great employees Highly recommend them!

frustration cant even describe how i feel, I personally called and had a great communication with girl taking order and placed order on Sept 10 2025 was told will be shipped within 4 days. Its been almost a month. took my money no problem.....screaming all the way from Savannah GA to Cumberland RI

I purchased a part directly from their website and still have not received that part. A month and a half after the purchase, I found that their eBay page had that exact part listed and ready to ship for $10 more than what I paid for it. I sent them a second e-mail asking why they are selling the part that I have been patiently waiting on and nobody ever responded. It has now been more than two months since I made that purchase, cold weather is quickly approaching, and my Jeep is still parked in the driveway on blocks with the transmission sitting beside it, because these con-artists want to take people's money and not ship the parts that they very clearly have in stock.

Took two months to receive my steering column. Many emails and phone calls and days late responses if I even received a response. Went to install column and they stuck the wrong size column shaft when they rebuilt it. That was intentional and anyone with any mechanic knowledge would know that it would be unmountable. Pathetic company go other places!

Needed a seat belt buckle receiver, new ones were 175 bucks, these guys advertised one for 60, thought I'd give them a shot. BIG MISTAKE.
5-7 day shipping turned into dilece for 15 days, then sent them a follow up email, was told part would be pulled "any day now". 10 more days, asked again, no response. After 32 days, advised them they had three business days to ship or I was canceling order and reversing the credit card charge for fraud. On 35th day they sent a tracking number, which didn't actually go live for 2 more days. Part arrived 45 days after order, and it is beat up, covered in some sticky glue like substance, and may actually be worse than the part I'm trying to replace. Complete waste of money, lesson learned. Will never use these people again. For all the hassle, would have been better off buying new and spending the extra cash. Can't even imagine what you'd get from them if you ordered something mechanical or electronic. My advice, steer well clear of this company. Oh and while they claim to be in Rhode Island, the part shipped from Florida, so they aren't even honest about where they're located.Aug 06, 2025 -
Did not get my parts I ordered over a mounth ago! I tried to call several times but you only get a ansering service and no one ever calls you back. I also tried emailing them one the web sight no response. Took my money no problem may be a scam.

Bought a harness from them. Took longer than expected to get. Then found out it was wrong. Took them almost three months to give me my refund. I do not recommend them. The lady helping me was helpful and did try her best to help but there response time is horrible, I would call multiple times a day or leave a message and wouldn't hear for another week or two.

All I wanted was to order my man some parts for his birthday. But while the website is easy to go through and understand everything else is well garbage in my opinion. 4 emails many phone calls and nothing absolutely nothing!! I wish I would have looked at the reviews because oh my hell they are all true. I filled a dispute already because i waisted enough time. And what's sad is I just reorder the part else where yesterday and it will be here on the 11th all for 20 more bucks. That's so worth it to me especially since the new seller responded to my email within an hr just making sure it was in stock and accurate shipping before I purchased this time. For the price of things you would think they could respond short staffed or not from the comments I have read you have a job even a simple apology and acknowledge the fact it's going to take 10 times longer is better than being silent and looking like frauds.

Big scam and waist of time and money.
I ordered a steering clock spring in Jan 2024. They promised me that all their parts are tested and have a 90-days warranty. After i received the parts and fit it in my car, it appeared that it’s not working. I contacted them (within the warranty period) and showed them the evidence. Then, Alisson agreed to send another parts. However, he was temporizing for two months and he was not responding to my emails!
I fed up after waiting for 2 months and asked Alisson to refund me. He also agreed to refund me, but guess what? He disappeared for nearly a year. I was sending emails time to time but no respond. Finally, in march 2025, Lisa replied to me that they already refunded me. However, this refund was for a canceled order that was not sent. I told her that and she disappeared as well. I tried so many times and sent tons of emails but there was no response.
Eventually, i found their Instagram account and contacted them. I explained my issue again to them. They was temporizing again for about 2 months(June 2025). Finally they replied to me that they can’t help anymore because they tried to refund me but it did not go through and the warranty time was finished!!
Moreover, they accused me to have some scamming activities and blocked me!
That was my worst ever experience buying online internationally. They scammed me and accused me to be the scammer!
They took nearly 100$ and waisted so much of my time for nothing. I totally do not recommend buying from them.Jun 03, 2025 -

Tried to contact them twice about a transmission i ordered months ago and have gotten no reply. Will be starting the process of reporting fraud through my bank soon if no contact. It's a shame because I've ordered smaller parts from them in the past and they were great.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ORDERING FROM THIS BUSINESS. Placed Order on 4/7/25 (money taken from acct) and after many emails, still have NOT received part. They actually have stopped replying back to my emails when the part was supposed to ship per last email on 4/23/25 “ Julie, Hello I have spoken to the yard and they finally got another jeep of this year and make in and will be pulling this correctly for you, we are hoping to have it on the way tomorrow. - Lisa” My husband has even reached out via Facebook messenger, spoke with a worker, who was “supposed” to look into order, and has not responded since.

Placed my order 10 days ago. Was told it was going to be here in 7-10 days. I never received it. They are simple speakers for the dash. It should not take this long. I have emailed four times with no response. In addition to this, I called them and they didn’t answer. I couldn’t even leave a voicemail because it’s full with other people calling about the same problem. Going to dispute this charge. Also apparently no way to track shipping. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Ridiculous.

Not happy ordered driver door cladding straps for 1997 ZJ, spoke to them after almost two weeks and he explained usually takes 10 days I said cool that’s all I needed to hear. Shows in stock. Called again last week after a month now

*!WARNING!* DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Ordered a brake pedal assembly a month and a half ago. I can understand 7-10 day processing time. But after a month I tried calling and always straight to voicemail with a full inbox. After calling multiple times a day every day for 2 weeks I finally got through to Lisa. She said she would check why I havnt seen my part yet and get back to me. Two weeks later and no contact and back to the full voicemail. At this point I’d just like a refund but can’t get ahold of anyone at dead jeep. Extremely disappointing
If I were the owner of this “company” I would be ashamed of myself. I plan on contacting the sheriffs dept in Providence county, then filling a suit for fraud, breach of contract and unfair trade practices.Apr 14, 2025 -
I wouldn’t even give them one star. Been waiting for my transmission wiring harness for about two weeks now. I emailed them and got an email back saying they haven’t shipped it yet. It’s been two weeks I should have had this installed by now. Asked for a refund and the lady ignored that question. Customer service sucks and the shipping is ridiculous. I will not be ordering from them again and eBay should not let them sell their stuff on their site. Crooks don’t order from them.

DeadJeep Review Re: Ebay Order #22-12173-09134 Return Refund Not Issued
These people are CROOKS!!! DO NOT BUY from them unless you want to risk your money! If they get a chance to Fraud you, they will! After 360 purchases that I have made on Ebay, this is the first negative review I have given.
On Oct 12, 2024 I ordered a Jeep YJ Tilt Steering Column from DeadJeep, on Ebay. They immediately took my money from PayPal ($800.10) At that time, a Tracking Number was provided, but UPS did not receive an item for shipment. The item was listed as being in great condition, and had been completely gone through by owner, with all parts that need to be fixed have been replaced. Being trusting, and having had good luck with Ebay purchases, I waited patiently for shipment.
After 2 ½ months, on Dec 24, 2024, I received the steering column, which had pieces missing that were pictured in the display, and some broken pieces. The plastic cover over the upper lock-ring was missing. The horn button was missing. The lock cylinder had a finger tab broken off, and a lower plug receptacle had a broken mounting tab. The lower bearing was not tight, as stated in the description. I could not see where it had been” gone through”, at all. It looked as though it had been pulled from an old Jeep, and sent.
Amazingly, I was able to reach DeadJeep by phone, and they quickly issued me a Return Label. I returned the item, on Jan 03, 2025, when I received the Return Label. I then received an email from them stating that I was outside of Ebay’s 90 day refund policy, but they would mail a check to me at my home address. They had the item back in their possession on Jan 09, 2025, which was less than 90 days, even after them stalling for 2 ½ months to ship it to me.
As of Mar 05, 2025, I have not received a refund check. They now have my $800.10, and the steering column. I have tried to call them several times, but they do not answer, and their voicemail is full so i cannot leave a message. They will not answer emails, and they have blocked me from making any new purchases on Ebay, probably for fear of getting a bad review.
By me being trusting, they have run the clock out on me, so that Ebay nor PayPal will do anything, since it is now over their time limit. Do not be patient with them. IF THEY CAN SET IT UP TO CHEAT YOU, THEY WILL!!Mar 08, 2025 -
Ive ordered off their ebay store without issue in the past, but the first (and only) time direct from their site has been ridiculous. I ordered an axle over 30 days ago (and they sure charged me immediately). After sending multiple emails starting 2 weeks ago and leaving a voice mail asking for a shipping date or status update, I've gotten no response at ALL. I can't even ask them for a refund as they will still not respond. Had I gotten any communication back with an explanation on the delay i could be understanding. But leaving me hanging for over a month without a response is pretty bad on any business. I'll be speaking with my CC to issue the refund, unfortunately, even though what i NEED is the axle i purchased.

I ordered a shroud in September. Nothing ever came. After many attempted phone calls and emails nothing. Brittany contacted me via email once a month ago but since nothing. I’m so disappointed. Buyer beware. I don’t think I’m ever going to see my part or money. Taking steps like this leaving reviews in hopes something gets their attention. The next step is the better business bureau. Not at all happy

I have been a customer for over 10 years... This was a good company for used parts, but it is no longer. I ordered a steering box over two months ago, and still no tracking number. It is still in "process". This is what I do know, I spend the $170 and after two months, I still have nothing to show for it. I have emailed but my last reply was over two weeks ago? They have disappeared, and I am not sure I'll ever see that 170 bucks again? I do not believe they ever had a steering box. I believe they are selling parts that they do NOT yet have... I would suggest "steering" clear of Dead Jeep if you don't want to waste your time AND money.

These guys (and gals) really know their stuff. I've been looking for a front seat for my YJ for a few years. I was in the area and stopped in. He took one look at my Jeep and said "Oh, it's an 87". A few minutes later he walked out with the seat. Also picked up a horn button and dashboard bezel. Very fair prices.
