Nick L gave the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He was on the phone with a customer and he seemed argumentative and had an attitude towards the customer. With me and my friend he was extremely short impolite and childish. This is behavior I’d expect from a middle school child not a grown man.
Had the pleasure of dealing with an associate named Nick, or at least that’s what his name tag said. I came in needing wiper blades and had no clue what I was doing. He took the time to go over all the super blades and which ones were best. Really knowledgeable, I asked if he could put them in since I don’t even know where to begin. He looked around for customers then even explained all the attachments and how they work. He put them on in no time and made sure I felt comfortable knowing how if I ever had too. Really great service here!!
Not a fan of the manager that runs this location, constantly rude,always an attitude. If you do not like working in retail or customer service then don’t. He is the only person there I ever have any issue with all the other employees are very friendly and helpful. I feel bad that he is the manger of that place I know I am not the only customer he turns away and loses money for this company
I arrived at Advanced Auto this morning 8:30am
Believing I was in need of a new battery as I had to get jumped and hour earlier, I walked in and there were 3 gentleman towards the back near the oil section, I stood at the counter and two men went in the back and the third came to the counter, I said I was in need of a battery and would you install it????? His response was, oh can’t do that till noon, we are SHORT on help, you can go down the street to Auto Zone they might be able to help,
but not sure they are short of help too…
Well I did go to AUTO ZONE and they had 2 people on and they tested my battery and it was fine .
MORAL of this Rant is stay away from ADVANCED AUTO, lazy , unprofessional and rude.
As of late, this Advanced Autoparts store has been mediocre. I visited the store about 4 months ago and inquired about its impact screwdriver & a female employee said if the store had it, it would be with other tools. From here I didn't know what one looked like in either did she. Total waste of trip, employees should know the product store sells. Disappointed. Go to Autozone
Went here to buy a part for my van. They wanted 167.00 so I decided to look elsewhere so happy I did. Found the part somewhere else for 90.00. Wow what a difference
Decent size store not the biggest advance around. They store was very clean though and even though I wasn't able to get the oil filter I needed the associate was very helpful
I am from out of state driving through RI when my check engine light came on. I could not get an appointment at a car dealership. Advanced Auto Parts was recommended. Keith diagnosed the problem and assisted me in every way possible way. Very friendly and very knowledgeable. Can not say thank you too many times.
I have been to this advanced auto multiple times around 8 and 820 and they always seem to close early everything I read says 9 what time is it really open to ?
Stopped in for a quick question and a purchase, Nice gent came out to check my vehicle with a hand scanner for a trouble code issue. Nothing to worry about and was on my way.
The service was top notch. I have an arm in a sling; the gentleman at the counter offer to bring the parts to my car. Very much appreciated. It would have taken me 3 trips! THANK YOU!
This store rocks. They have SO MANY WAYS TO H E LP TOO....FREE TOOLS, FREE HELP PUTTIN ON YOUR WIPERS. BATTERY CHECKS, I MEAN WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED. THEY PROBABLY H A VE THAT TOO.....
Typically I have no complaints and am happy visiting. Not today though. I purchased some light bulbs for my car that were suggested as the bulbs for my car. After removing one of the bulbs out it was a different bulb. I went back in and was told it was the correct ones. Even though I brought the bulb that needed replacing. I could see the bulb# and it was different from what I was given. Once again it was the right bulb. I was then told good luck! Like I didn't know what I was talking about. There are 6 bulbs in my tail light that do individual things. He tells me it's not typical. But to my car it is. Each bulb is single purpose. Either way the Bulb was different than what was in there. So installing their suggested bulbs. I blew fuses in my car for the tail light I will be back to the store in the morning to speak to someone about this situation. Very disappointed to say the least. Light came back on after changing one fuse. I have one other fuse to check. Not happy and they will know about it tomorrow.
Update. 2 fuses blown. Back up light switch and rear tail light. This is the luck I had putting in your bulbs. I fixed the problem and will take my business elsewhere. Good Luvk with that...
Prices are not bad decent parts but it’s crazy how some of there locations close Earlier than others but other than that it’s a good store to shop for prices for the Do it yourself type of person I mean how can you go wrong with 15 /20 and 25% off coupons
Their prices are a little high. Some of there sales are pretty good. Get my stuff, other than parts, like oil, fluids, air fresheners, car wash, etc. at Walmart its a considerably cheaper.
Overcharged for part that is super basic. Then tried to give me a different brand part after i already ordered a specific brand because it "wasn't" in stock
The staff at the east providence store are helpful and knowledgeable nice your msn Matthew was a big help I was sent to get oils for the lawn mower not sure what I needed he knew Exactly what I was supposed to get
I purchased top of the line windshield wipers and was treated very differently from other patrons. I was outside exchanging my own wipers even though they are supposed to offer the service. Two very nice gentlemen helped me along the way. I will NOT return to this particular store again.
Great service. Needed front and back brake pads. Their inventory stated they had both the high end and low end pads for both. I chose the cheaper pads for both. It turned out they only had the high end pads for the rear. They gave me the more expensive pads for the cheaper price. I left impressed.
Not the most friendliest staff or helpful at this particular store. It's to bad because overall they always have what we need so I just go to East Providence store instead they are always will to help me find what I need.
