I had to fold my box spring to get it to fit with the mattress and other box spring but was told I can old put it in the trailer if it's one piece...so do these get reused? Not sure why that's a rule.
It's so disappointing when us tax payers can't get the services we deserve. So I bring my leaf bags 200 feet from my back yard to my truck load them up go to the recycling yard at 11:00. The website says they are open 7a.m. to 3 p.m. Well its all locked up besides their was a city worker over by the pile unloading his bags with a city truck. Another truck and 2 cars came while I was there only to be disappointed. So now I spot a sign on the fence stating closed Saturdays January 1st to April 1st that's great does alot of justice seeing its not on the website. Now I have to put these bags somewhere for 2 more months so I had to purchase 2 tarps at $14.99 each to cover them up. So thank you to the guy who sits behind a desk all day and does nothing but says to the guys that drive the trucks all day see you when you get back. We need accountability. FRANK PICOZZI can I put them in front of your house because I'm sure they will get picked up promptly.
I’ve always met great people here. They take old appliances and yard waste. It has been enormously helpful. The chips and dirt have been great for trees.
Showed up about 5 minutes before they closed, and the attendant was helpful and friendly. We recycled a mattress and a box spring. For Warwick residents only, the attendant checked for identification.
The guys in the big front end loaders are 'eagle eyes'. They operate safely and efficiently. Be sure to stay in directed areas and check in with attendant at front gate. Be patient some days since the attendant may be in a pickup or dump truck or helping others. Please be neat and respectful when disposing of your mattresses. If you are sloppy the trailer fills up quicker making it unavailable to others. This has been a great resource that is a blessing to Warwick. Please do your part as a community to help one another and secure the longevity of this valuable resource. Good top soil available from time to time to the left when exiting. Thank you Warwick DPW and Parks and Rec crew for keeping it well organized.
I think it's convenient for city residents to get rid of mattresses. (Ones that can be cleaned & repurposed) great place to get rid of your old flat-screens & AWESOME to dump your yard debris like grass, leaves etc. No trash! Great idea & it helps the city , no brainer!
Good functional and orderly as expected. Warwick’s recycling department and its workers have done an excellent job managing and maintaining this place for residents. Too bad it borders the Mickey Steven’s complex, however, I look forward to the complex’s major overhaul.
Had to get rid of several mattresses due to a big move and the experience couldn’t have been better. The crew that works there are all amazing and super helpful. I’m bringing yard waste tomorrow. :)
The guys are friendly and helpful in directing where different items go at this transfer station. I drop stuff off daily and it really is a convenience to have in the City of Warwick.
Great place for Warwick residents to drop off brush tree limbs and yard waste. The guys who work here are great, everything is very well organized you won't waste any time here.
