Visited them recently, not easy to earn such high rating for a used parts place - everyone is really nice and helpful.
Was looking for imports(Japanese) manufactured in last 15-20 years, so had a few options, they have a small area where cars are parked and one must jack up the car on their own. No online inventory, $0 entrance fee and great prices. Will come back again and please continue helping out auto enthusiasts with your great work. Thank you so much for everything you are doing.
I went here today looking for parts for an early model sorento and didn't expect to have any luck but ended up hitting the jackpot! I found a grill, bumper and 2 headlight assemblies for $85, much less than all the online prices. When all the other local places had nothing in stock, Wintermyers did. I'll definitely be returning. The yard isn't super big but they have alot to choose from and it's nicely organized, staff was great and prices were much less than I was expecting to pay...and it's a rare 'you pull it' lot.
I highly recommend Wintermyer Auto Salvage. They are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and great at what they do. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give!
I did not find what I was looking for, how ever the staff is friendly and helpful, I love to visit and look around. I visited again and found the part i was looking for a different vehicle.
The yard is mostly picked through. Not very organized, but they have a "map" that shows approx where different makes are located. Not much for imports.
The ladies working the check in were awesome, they let me have a flower planter I found when looking for a switch for my car. I was extremely happy because I love flowers and plants so now I have a new one to replant my plant.
This place is what they sell... JUNK! Clair/Clare/Crook is one of the most irresponsible and shady "business" owners I have ever dealt with. It doesn't matter if you are selling diamonds or junk car parts... you should do it with integrity. You will find none here. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would.

I call for a part and tge answer was that don't know if they have it or not
They have to fix that because if a costumer call for a part u will let them know if u got tge car or not

Didn't visit. Called and asked if they had a specific vehicle before I drove over. Was told that they don't keep inventory since they are a "u-pull it". Not wasting my time. Want to go to a yard where they at least know that they have the type of vehicle that I'm looking for parts for.

This company is awesome. I had called 7 salvage companies to come and pick up my son's truck........no one showed up. I called Wintermyer, an extremely pleasant woman answered the phone and the wonderful tow truck driver showed up in less than an hour! Problem solved. I would use this company again.
It's not too big, it's well organized, and the prices are very fair. I've found what I needed almost every time I've visited them. I love this little honey hole...
They are the nicest people to deal with.
I had to junk my car due to a dead transmission. The people at Wintermyer were very nice, gave me a good price on a dead 20 year old car and were very helpful in picking the car up.
I really can't say enough nice things about them, especially after the rude treatment I received from another yard.
Better than fair prices. Good people. Rather contribute to a dependable, friendly place than anything brand spanking new. My wife knows some of the family from growing up with them and convinced me to buy from them now it's the first place we check.

A clean well organized yard with gravel beds and few weeds and no thorn bushes for easy enjoyable part picking. They have a fair selection of newer car and truck parts. Friendly helpful staff and very reasonable prices.
I highly recommend for the DIY mechanic.
