Horrible Place to deal with. The guy was rude and shady just odd bunch in general. He talked perverted around my daughter. and to top it off my insurance company was charged over $3000 and they drove the car onto their truck the vehicle did sit at there yard for only a few days. But what a absolute scammer. I dont know why any police department recommends this place. This place needs shut down!
Oh, I don't even know where to start with these guys. My car got police impounded for 38 days. The cops released it. They called me telling me I owed them $1800 home can't afford it. I would've picked the car up the first day they called me back they said 1000 bucks I said OK well can I see the car run? didn't wanna let me see the car run, no deal. so I tell him I wanna get my belongings out of the car. He tells me I'm not allowed to have my belongings until I make a payment. These guys are crooked. Don't deal with them. karma is coming! Hit up rebound towing& recovery. Meanwhile, this whole 38 days they've been starting my car And moving it around their lot and then the last week they had it locked up in their garage. I can almost guarantee something They damaged it or sold parts off of it and now I wanna tell me the full price over 2,000 This has been a shady deal since the beginning with Northern regional Police Department York county The police impounded my vehicle for that long because they couldn't write anybody no tickets. Do yourself a favor if you gotta drive 100 miles to avoid Northern regional do it. In the end, the owner of the towing company threatened to press harassment charges against me. Never got my car back where are the personal belongings that had sentimental value to me. if you ask me northern regional, and the tow company have something going on on the side anyway I talked to the senator and was notified that they will be getting investigated. Scam artists hope they take them down & the officers involved.
Would give zero stars if i could. The owner only cares about making money. Zero empathym. Very rude, very overpriced, spoke to me like I was a child and kept spitting his chew out right in front of me. Avoid at all cost if you can
These guys are GREAT! We drove 2.5 hours to get some interior parts and headlights for our 97 4runner. They had a quick response on fb marketplace. They informed us the parts were still on the vehicle, so we brought our own tools. And honestly, for the price we paid, it was so worth it! Even with what we paid in gas to get there, it was cheaper than buying what we needed from the internet!
Shawn was incredibly kind and understanding. He explains the reason for everything and does what he can to help as much as he can. He’s my go to for tow and repair from now on. We all need a guy. This is the guy!
My car was towed there from a accident it sat there for some months when I called to see about getting it back they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about I called back they telling me it’s gonna cost a couple grand instead of them telling me the exact amount when I keep asking for the exact the gets a attitude and tell me you gonna have to deal with pen dot cause they are mad I wouldn’t give them my title
These guys pulled me out of a bad situation during the flooding and even dropped me off somewhere a family member could get to me! Would definitely recommend.
Me and my family have been using Ankney's Towing for year's, they have always provided us with great, courteous service, they always show up quick as they can and have always been friendly with us. I highly recommend them to anyone, the also provide top notch mechanical services at unbeatable prices, if every business would be this friendly, fair, and courteous it would be a better world. Top notch service, I will be a life long customer for sure
Refused to work with us for payment or drop off. Very unprofessional shop with poor customer service. Unreasonable prices. Would not recommend. Call someone else.
I wouldn't give them the time of day. They not only charged me towing after my car was in an accident but then told me I had the option of paying storage fees or giving them my car. I told them they could have the car because it was totaled. Bugged and bugged for them to sign over the title, refusing to do things their way (that being the illegal way) and now they are reporting my car as abandoned! Thankfully I wrote them a check and still have messages disputing the switching over of title
$160 for them to tow my jeep 1 mile? I don't think so. Shawn at the shop was very rude to my family and I. They have no idea what they are talking about. I would give them a 10/10 if you are talking about how bad they are. 100% do not recommend. :)
Tow truck driver wanted to tow the truck without dropping the rear drive shaft. Then he didn't have tools to drop the shaft. He sent customer to barrow tools from a local shop. I wouldn't be writing this review if the company wasn't harassing me via text within two days after service for payment. The payment was sent, company was notified and then the company text again with threats. Company doesn't provide professional services.
