After my car 's transmission failed on a major highway, about an hour from my home, I had to have it towed to the nearest dealership for the nature and cost of the repair, get a rental car, then decide how I was going to proceed. I decided that I needed to replace the car. Red Lion Auto Salvage was recommended to help with getting my car to their salvage yard. One phone call to Ashley, and I was on their schedule for the next day. All I had to do was get the title to them. As promised, their driver, Jamie, called me when he was leaving to get my car, and I also received a call when the car was at the salvage yard. A few days later, I had a check from them. Ashley was top notch every step of the way, answering all my questions and concerns, turning what could have been a very difficult situation, into one that flowed exactly like she told me it would. She told me I have the parts and she let me drive in 45 minute with a big truck and we already talking about the price and I told her to make sure she say yes I do have it and when I be there she say no I don’t
I found a door for my truck my friend asked the cashier how much a complete door was she quoted $65 so I ended up pulling it and getting it down the steep hill and go to buy it was told it was $75 don't know why the price changed then I seen the price list on the board outside the office and it said a door was $50 so I was over charged by $25 and her price to my friend was $10 over their price list i feel like I was ripped off.
Well I wish they had more inventory online but you just have to pay and walk around and see if you can find what you're looking for they have a lot of great stuff and definitely you can find some good gems out here

Not a terrible scrap yard. not a wide variety of car selection. prices fluctuate massively. and apparently slight increases in price is 100% increase. went in and grabbed a head 2 months ago. went back today. head 2 months ago was $50. today it was $98. same engine. same car. nearly 100% increase in price. I would call for pricing before pullin . for another $50 more than I paid I could've gotten a rebuilt head delivered to me without all the work and guaranteed to be good. definitely last time I go there. and I've been going there for nearly 10 years now. very disappointing.

Contacted on Facebook about a set of rims in yard , we agreed on a trade , drive an hour out and get there , one rim has a big gash on the lip, wanted me to give him my 4 rims on my truck , plus a set of mud tires and rims I had sitting in the back of my truck , tires were no good on his rims and he completely changed the deal when I arrived and seen I was African American. Wow!! waste of time, yard is very unorganized and seems like every car on that yard should be crushed!! 50 better yards elsewhere.. Sad very sad world we live in

What a great professional experience. I had a locksmith customer who was stranded with a 2000 Ford Ranger that the immobilizer ring was damaged and was obsolete from the Ford dealership. I talk to the nice ladies behind the desk and they told me where to look for the part I needed to get my customer taken care of and down the road.

Not only did this place give out my address, but I had a complete stranger walking around my van and looking under the hood with our my permission. He said he got the address from the salvage yard!!! Then I had to keep calling them to see when they were even going to come get my van and they kept telling me later and later... Still waiting 3 days later. I wouldn't recommend this place to any one who values their privacy.
After being turned down by several other salvage places, I was wondering if I'd ever be able to get rid of my failed Saturn project car. Red Lion Salvage came to the rescue! Matt had a pleasant, "can do" attitude even though the front wheels & axles were off and the engine, cradle & tranny had been removed and stuffed back into the front seat & trunk. Red Lion Salvage made it happen and gave me a nice price, too. Now I have my driveway back!
