They took my sons vehicle from my apartment on 3/24/25 after 6:00 pm. THEY stated over the phone we could not get the price to pay unless in person and not without an appointment. We called them the morning of 3/25/25. They were disgustingly rude to us. Stated that we could not access the title which was in the car but had to do what we needed to provide proof of ownership. We came to the location this morning and they stated that they have had the car for 3 full days (LIE) and stated that it would be $500 plus dollars... and we could not obtain the vehicle until we had a tow truck waiting. I have never in my life heard of such craziness and disrespect. I asked them to speak with the owners or manager and they stated that they are unable to provide me with their information or I could not speak with them. I have notified the fraud unit at the Police station and awaiting a return call. Please click on entire photo for full confirmation of date and time.

I made a pickup reservation more than a month ago, but they canceled it a day before the pickup date. Then, they just notified me that the truck was unavailable.

Awesome crew helped diagnose my F350s problem, they couldn't fix it and didn't charge for thier time. If I'm ever back this way and need something, they are on the top of my list. Thanks guys.

Rented a uhaul from them years ago and just recently gave me input on a diesel issues I'm having over the phone without trying to get me to bring it in to them so I definitely say good honest people definitely recommend

I rented a U-Haul from here and everything was ready for me to do 24/7 pickup. When dropping off, I accidentally locked my house keys inside the truck, but it was after hours for Silverback. I came in the next morning and they had the keys for me.

I had my suv impounded by the PA police and regardless of my issue there, Silverback took good care of my vehicle and it is perfectly unharmed the way it was when i was pulled over. They worked with me on the total since I had to wait for my documents proving ownership so being all the time in here, they did help me be able to get out easier and I can't thank them enough. They treated me nice and took me seriously. I do highly recommend them and I do trust them well. Thanks a lot for helping me back in my vehicle. I don't know what me and my kid would do without it.

I used this location for Uhaul rental only. The pick up and drop off paperwork was quick enough and straight forward. Only issue I ran across was the lot was still a mess and the trailers were still snowed covered and plowed in after a recent snow storm. (Who rents a trailer with ice on the road?) So it took a little while to get out on the road, however the employee that came out worked hard to shovel the snow from out of and around the trailer to get it free. I will use this location again. NOTE: It appeared as though the rental box trucks were ready to go as those customers were gone well before I was.

Very sketchy business and even worse that all of their 5 star reviews are from owner and workers. Don’t take my word on their unprofessionalism, just look at their responses to customer reviews.

*Edit* Silverback responded and completely ignored their deceptive behavior and blamed the customer, even after apologizing. One star ⭐ for you. Not a good experience. Extremely strict policies and practices, grossly overpriced towing and storage service. $600 to pickup a bumper off the street, tow the vehicle, file some paperwork and store it for 3 days. No personal checks or credit cards, so empty your bank account or get a certified check before you come. Rude customer service. I was told because of Covid only the owner was allowed to see the vehicle. My father in law needed help to decide whether or not to keep the car after the accident, which is why he brought me along. These restrictions are absurd, the car is outside! After requesting to speak to the manager, the gentleman behind the counter said "if you don't agree with our policy, you can talk to the armed guard about this..." Is this how they treat all clients? They told us we couldn't drive the car off the lot because "it was leaking fluid," however after inspection, there were no leaks. There was nothing wrong with the car except the bumper came off. They told my father-in-law the car was "totaled," they said "give us $200 and we will take it off your hands." Deceitful business practice to gain a perfectly working vehicle and take advantage of an older gentleman. They also have "issues" with certain towing companies, and won't let them on the lot. But get this, they drove the car to the gate for pickup... After saying we couldn't drive it... Ridiculous. They did give a minor discount for the tow, $60 I think. They eventually allowed my father in law and I to go look at the car together, so this is why I gave the 2 stars. Unfortunately the state police default to this garage for accidents, so he had no choice. If you can, request that your vehicle goes somewhere else or you'll pay a hefty price. This place needs to get their priorities in order, customer service drives positive reviews, and it's seriously lacking at Silverback services. As you can likely tell by the other reviews.

They're listed as a FFL dealer and they are conveniently located near my residence which is why I thought it was a great idea to use them for a place to have my firearms shipped. But they must not have an employee on site at all times that handles that type of stuff. I am completely understanding of businesses going through hard times because of the current Covid situation. After a month and a half of weekly calls to this service, and after given what seemed like the same answer each time (either the person who handles the firearms sales wasnt in or wasnt available until the next week, or they didnt know when he was available, or the service was still getting themselves up to code because of the pandemic, which is what I was told for 2 of the weeks.) my patience started to wear thin. The only reason I knew my firearms made it there was because of the tracking number on the package. After the background check went through (which took a week and noone informed us it went through) we called and once again had to wait until the someone was available to be there to hand me my firearms. I also referred my father to have his firearm sent there (again out of convenience of location, this was before I went through all the rigamoro and waiting game). Needless to say hes been waiting for 2 months now. Again, noone called to say it arrived or to keep us updated. We called today because we havnt heard anything in weeks and once again the same answer (They will contact us when someone is available to come in and process the firearm sale, ). With all of that said, I will say that the guys are actually really nice and in no way does my review reflect in any way the other services they provide, auto care etc..I just wouldnt use them as a chosen destination to ship your firearms.

I used them last month for uhaul rental. Rich was awesome talking me through the self check-in process which kept going wrong with my phone. He was working remotely due to covid and I called him again and again but he was super patient and professional.

This place was horrible. I had to get an interlock installed. My appointment was originally scheduled for a friday and my machine was at the shop. Due to circumstances i had to reschedule for the following wednesday. Well silverback decided to give my machine to someone else. I dropped my car off wednesday morning and by the end of the day there was o machine installed. So i sacrificed my car for the whole day and nothing got done due to them being irresponsible with timing and being greedy trying to make an extra buck installing my machine on someone else's vechicle. Then on top of all this I went in there and questioned them about this and they decided to just straight refuse me service. If you want honest, quality and timely work this is definitely not the place. 0/10 would not reccomend this company to anyone.

I am a towing company myself. I pick up for insurance companies. The guy behind the counter took forever to come to the counter. Then wanted my life history in information. To pick up a total loss car. Then said he could refuse to release it to me if I did not supply workmans comp. Info on my company. I am the only employee. I own the company. I am not required to have workmans comp. These morons need to know the laws before they ask for info. That does not apply to them. Its probably why they are in red lion now. It's been 3 years since I remember there name from picking up in Lancaster. They probably could not make it there. I don't know why they think they will make it here with there policies. Just my opinion. I would not recommend them to anyone. I have been towing for a while now and never been asked for all of the info they were asking for. I have picked up at state police barracks and they never asked me for the info this bunch is asking for. I will say I did get mad and went off on this bunch. In my opinion they are a joke.

My car was impounded on a Friday night. I called Saturday to try and get my car and/or my house keys since they were on the same ring and I was locked out of my house. I was told by the guy answering the phone that he was just a third party answering service, that he didn't actually work there and I couldn't get anything until Monday morning at 9. I explained I have pets that I need to get into my house to take care of them, one having diabetes and needing insulin. I was told there was nothing he could do. Then Monday morning comes around, go get my truck and the woman at the counter tells me I could have gotten my truck over the weekend for an extra $100. Her only response was that I should have gotten the guys name, nothing she could do! Utterly ridiculous! That option was never offered to me, especially after stressing how bad I needed to get into my house for my animals, of course I would have paid the extra $100! It would have cost exactly what i paid anyway, since I had to pay for 2 extra days of storage of my truck since they wouldn't let me get it. My animals were without food, water, and their medications for 2 days because of the incompetency of this company! I'm lucky they didn't die! STAY AWAY!! Worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

STAY AWAY!!! Folks.... there are garages that absolutely should be plugged in with law enforcement, due to the simple fact that sometimes we place our vehicles where we should not, wreck them, get pulled over while driving when we have NO BUSINESS being on the road... stuff happens, requiring cars to be towed, like it, OR NOT. With that said, I digress- SOME of these places embrace what they're tasked with, in a positive way, and empathize with the *fellow drivers* whose means of transportation they SNATCH AWAY, generally without notice; OTHERS intentionally price-gauge, keep strange contact hours, make themselves unavailable, and employ business practices that can only be described as shady, unethical, and downright malicious. WHY PRICE GOUGE, INTENTIONALLY TRYING TO PUT YOU SO FAR INTO THE HOLE WITH TOWING AND STORAGE FEES, so that you just go ahead and sign that title over to them, right as they play hero, and offer it as a last resort when your head is spinning out of desperation. I have never encountered such a RUDE, evasive, shady individual when calling a company and inquiring about services, pricing, and other general information. Have you called ANYWHERE, inquiring about the cost of storage, towing, or any other service that a business may provide, and gotten hit with stuff like- "why do YOU wanna know/well, you would have to provide PROOF THAT YOU OWN 1 OF THE CARS THAT IS HERE for us to get into that/we do not discuss pricing over the phone (REALLY LADY....YOU THINK I'M CALLING YOU TO BUY A MATTRESS....USED CAR.....WHAT?....I'M UP THE STREET, IN THE COMPETITION'S PARKING LOT)/i already TOLD you sir (this 1 was INSANE to listen to....SOOO much attitude), i'm not telling you pricing over the phone/and like 2 other insanely rude answers? this was like something off of The Jerky Boys. Towing/impound companies act like that for ONE reason, THEY WANNA KEEP YOUR STUFF! More accurately, ANNEX your vehicle, due to an extremely slimy form of situational advantage/awareness; we have the space/means to take/store your car, the authorities allow us to operate with virtual impunity, we're gonna make you owe us enough so that you'll just sign it over, alleviating the stress of our inflated bill. Ask yourself this- if the TOWING/impound segment of Silverback acts like this, how is the service division going to treat your vehicles? what if something that they did goes bad.... "oh nah, i dunno what you talkin about, we ain't never touch that" (THIS is how their receptionist woman began addressing me on the phone, REAL early in the conversation).... what if they just didn't FEEL like doing it the right way, kinda like they don't want to divulge prices, for ANYTHING, over the phone? I WOULDN'T TELL MY WORST ENEMY TO GO AND HAVE A TIRE PLUGGED AT THIS PLACE! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
